“Our first experience using Rover was having our one-year-old American Bully stay for over a week with Hailey. This was not only our first experience using Rover, but also our first prolonged separation from him and his first experience with boarding. We were very selective about who we wanted and met with many other people before Hailey. However, the moment that we met Hailey and her husband at their home, we knew that this was the perfect place for our boy and that he would be well attended to and loved during his stay. While we were away, we received constant updates, pictures, and videos of our dog and it was clear that he was having a great time. Hailey also went above and beyond by providing last minute grooming services at our request for an outstanding price. When we arrived to pick up our dog, he was elated to see us (yay!) but it was also clear that he has been extremely comfortable while we were away. I cannot recommend Hailey's home and care enough. I also cannot imagine having our dog stay with anyone else so long as Hailey opens her home to others' animals. 5 stars. Two thumbs up.”

About: Hello! I’m Ashlyn and I have been raised with at least three dogs all my life, from Yorkies to Great Danes I have owned them all! I currently own two dogs, and have been dog sitting as long as I can remember. I am a full time teacher, so my dogs are put outside and fed at about 7am, put outside again at 3pm, walked and or played with until 5pm, dinner and put outside at 6pm, and outside again at 9pm. On weekends, they follow a very similar routine, with more breaks outside and longer walks. I am comfortable with giving dogs medication, and I am overly cautious with pretty much everything such chewing on furniture, other dogs, etc. The dog being safe and the clients comfort is my top priority.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 16 years old. I am often asked by coworkers of family to house sit during their vacations. I have pet sat dogs, cats, fish, and even chickens! I am comfortable waking, giving medication, and cuddling (my personal favorite), whatever your pup needs! I have two dogs of my own. One of my dogs is a senior and is high need due to his bone cancer. He requires daily medication and will until we are able to remove the leg. My other pup is a rambunctious lab, who is high drive and needs daily stimulation so he doesn’t anger his older brother. I often take him on walks or use the pond near our home to tire him out! I am used to house sitting in all types of homes. If your pup needs a daily walk I am can do that. If they’re an outside pup we can take a walk or even a hike! I stay at the home and don’t leave often. I ask that a physical copy of directions are left so that I can give the 100% proper care and able to contact through phone as well!

About: I’ve had the privilege of growing up with dogs since the age of 10. I’ve never lived in a house without 1-2 dogs. It’s always been a priority of mine to take my dog on at least a 2 mile walk a day if not longer. I have pet sat for families in the past and fostered a puppy in college. Come July I start school T,TH,F from roughly 9-4:30. Otherwise I will be working my PRN job whenever they are in need and I’m available. Over the past 12-14 years I’ve grown up with dogs living in my household. I currently have one medium sized dog, Nala, whom I recused about 5 years ago. She’s a velcro dog and the sweetest they come. She was 5 months old when we adopted her and it’s always been a priority to enforce socialization from day one. When she was almost the age of 2 we bought a German Shepard, Bo, at 8weeks old who she has grown up and lived with over the past 4 years. Regardless of who they are around we make sure to properly introduce everyone who is welcomed into their/our space. After moving to Lexington Nala moved with me as Bo stayed back home. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to run and play. Nala likes to keep to herself most of the time, but highly enjoys walks, treats, and toys.

Kelsey watched them over a holiday weekend where I assumed there would be lots of commotion and fireworks in our area and she was very communicative in reassuring me that the cats were safe. In addition to all of these amazing things, we came home to our apartment fully cleaned even tho we told her no cleaning was necessary. About: I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding business in NKY, I’ve learned a lot from working there. My love for dogs has grown more than I could imagine. I’ve had many pets growing up and I now have two of my own. I have two dachshunds named Harmony and Hazel. My favorite pet I’ve ever owned was my chinchilla! Her name was Bella. A home is not the same without a pet. I currently work a part time job and know my schedule two weeks at a time. I also have a business and work from home for that. Remember, a genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being are at the heart of any successful pet care experience! I'm currently full time house wife with 2 dogs, no kids. My daily routines are my dogs, so I have a lot of time to watch yours too! We walk 4 times a day, and enjoy homemade dog treat and food. I don't have yard so I walk dogs instead (3-4 times a day), and I always clean them right after walking so they are allowed on furniture. Remember, a walk a day keep vet away. I do have crates if needed.

About: I currently cannot have my own dog but I love taking care of dogs. I have been watching some family friends’ dogs taking care of them and their home while they’re on vacation. I’m currently working a job part time on the weekends but my week days are completely free because I’m a teacher who is off for the summer. I have a fenced in yard. About: I'd always dreamed of growing up to become a vet, and I came close when I worked at multiple animal hospitals on/off for years! While I was working though I picked up a few pet sitting jobs on the side and realized I loved the one on one care that came with it. Saving animals lives is great, but snuggling, playing, feeding, and loving on them is even better! I'm currently working full time as a petsitter, so I have just about 24/7 availability! I can do visits, daily boarding, and even overnight stays! I can do many things required for any care needed, like changing diapers, and admistering medications! I currently have a routine with a few clients that I do daily visits with. I have also had one of those said clients do a week of boarding when her mom was away recently! I do have pets of my own, but they can be completely separated from yours if need be.

“Our first experience using Rover was having our one-year-old American Bully stay for over a week with Hailey. This was not only our first experience using Rover, but also our first prolonged separation from him and his first experience with boarding. We were very selective about who we wanted and met with many other people before Hailey. However, the moment that we met Hailey and her husband at their home, we knew that this was the perfect place for our boy and that he would be well attended to and loved during his stay. While we were away, we received constant updates, pictures, and videos of our dog and it was clear that he was having a great time. Hailey also went above and beyond by providing last minute grooming services at our request for an outstanding price. When we arrived to pick up our dog, he was elated to see us (yay!) but it was also clear that he has been extremely comfortable while we were away. I cannot recommend Hailey's home and care enough. I also cannot imagine having our dog stay with anyone else so long as Hailey opens her home to others' animals. 5 stars. Two thumbs up.”

About: Growing up, I was always the go-to dog sitter for family and friends. From playful puppies to senior pups, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities in my home and theirs. I learned early on how to give each dog the individual attention they need—whether it’s long walks, playtime in the yard, feeding schedules, or just cozy couch cuddles. Those experiences taught me how important it is to create a safe, loving environment where dogs feel comfortable and happy while their families are away. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and would be thrilled to bring that same care and reliability to your furry family members. I have taken care of dogs with medical needs(diabetes) and other condition and know hiw to care for them. I work from home Monday- Friday so I have plenty of time to let them out and take care of them. I don’t go out too much on the weekends and if I do I’m usually at the golf course and then back home. My house is very pet friendly. My yard is completely fenced in. I do not mind that they go on the couch. I will love your pets as you love them.
