About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They had grandkids to see and wanted to explore as many different countries as they could. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.

About: I have always had at least one dog growing up. I started watching dogs (walking during the day or while babysitting) at 10 years old, and house-sitting by 15 (overnight at the dog's house). My childhood dog started receiving daily to twice-daily insulin injections by the time he turned 12, so I am comfortable giving injections. I also have had to give dogs pills orally. My current dog, Wesley, is particularly finnicky about treats, so if he has to take a pill I had to wrap it in wet food and hand feed to him - if your dog is the same way, I am used to "prince"/"princess" dogs :) I have watched my friends' dogs in Denver and it's been great! I am open to having them at my house (preferable for sitting during the week since I have work) or at your place. My job allows me to routinely work from home depending on my schedule and I am located in Littleton (near Chatfield and Ken Caryl areas). When I’m working from home I’ll be able to let the pup out throughout the day, as well as provide love and attention. If I am going into the office, I am usually away no longer than 9 hours. I’ll be sure to walk, play, or do whatever to make up for my time away! I’m pretty laid back with dogs and don’t get really upset if there’s an accident in the house, as I know they can’t help it. However, if there are certain words or commands you use for certain behaviors, please let me know so I can be consistent with your house. The same goes for walking - I usually am firm and keep the dogs on one side and close to me. If you have a certain side you like your dog to be on or words to use while walking, just let me know and I'll incorporate! I will attempt to make your dog's stay as home-like as possible by keeping their schedule, saying certain words/commands, and giving them lots of love and attention! About: Ever since I was a baby I have had a dog in my household. As soon as I could get a dog of my own I got Bentley, my German Shepherd/Coon Hound mix. I adopted him at only 6 weeks old back in 2020. Growing up neighbors would ask me to cat sit when they were on vacation which included changing litter, feeding, and playing with the cat daily. Additionally, I have been asked to help walk dogs and to house sit in the past! I live in the Hamburg area and work full time at the University of Kentucky. My traditional work hours are 8am-5pm M-F with an hour lunch break. I would be willing to carve out time in my lunch to walk or care for pets. I do not work weekends, and have the most availability to care for pets during that time! I am extremely trustworthy and will abide by any rules you have for your fur baby. I am experienced with crating, and have no concerns with helping to put your animal back in a crate after caring for it. My fur baby, Bentley, is also extremely dog friendly so if your animal needs socialization with another, I could provide that! Unfortunately, due to the nature of my living environment I cannot board myself as I live in an apartment.

About: I have been caring of a variety fur babies since I was a kid. I have experience with working with both younger and older fur babies. About: I’m a certified volunteer handler for service dogs in training at 4 Paws for Ability. Sitters and handlers are trained to train, care for, and accumulate soon to be service dog puppies. I also have have experience as an overnight pet sitter for dogs of all sizes and backgrounds. I am comfortable with any breed and do well with pets suffering from anxiety. I just moved to Lexington to start my PhD program at UK and am excited to get to know the area. A lot of my work and research is done outside of class so little time will be spent away from your pups! It’s totally normal for your pet to get the puppy blues without you there. Some things I do that has often helped ease this anxiety is being available for around the clock care, doing some soothing activities like mat licking, and lots of belly scratches!
About: I am a certified professional dog trainer and was a veterinary assistant for over 8 years. I have over a decade of experience caring for animals large and small. I have ample experience caring for pets with mobility issues, incontinence, kidney disease, diabetes, anxiety, or other illnesses. I can provide gold standard care regardless of your pet's needs- including oral, topical, or injectable medications, subcutaneous fluid therapy, or just being a patient and calm friend to a fearful friend. I love and care for dogs and cats equally! I currently work a full-time 9-to-5 but have a somewhat flexible schedule within those hours. Early mornings, lunch breaks, evenings, nighttime checks, and weekends are all available options. If taking your pet out of the house, I like to have a fit check of your leash/harness or collar setup first. If your pet is known to be a "houdini" who can escape their gear, I may recommend alternatives and can help you with fitting your pet appropriately and/or bring a second form of containment with me (such as a slip leash used at vet offices) to ensure your pet's safety.
