About: I have had dogs my entire life, and currently have a 7.5 year old female redbone coonhound and a 5 year old female mixed breed. I love being around them, teaching them new tricks and commands. I am open from 6a.m to 8p.m on Saturdays and Sundays. About: I’ve been taking care of my own cats as well as family, friends, and neighbors cats for over 15 years now. Anywhere from checking in on them to full on adopting them, I’ve done it all. My cat takes medications that I keep on top of, as well as clean her litter once, maybe twice a day.

I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. About: Located on 10 acres in rural Hoyt, Kansas, Hughes & Hounds provides a spacious safe haven for your furry family members. Our set-up, previously used for dog breeding, includes two (working on three) spacious backyard pens that are the full package deal, including: big shade trees, big water bowls, a doggie igloo and free doggie treats (if you approve of course!). Please note that our dog daycare and boarding services are OUTDOOR ONLY and really for farm/outside dogs, bigger dogs, or dogs with high energy. We will accept any sized dog as long as they’re used to staying outside during the day! With two young kids in the home, we will only bring your dogs inside if the owner provides a crate and only if requested for night time (with the exception of severe weather where they would be crated indoors as well). I work a few afternoons a week, so I will be able to check on your furry pals often during their week & weekend stays with us. We are flexible and want to make sure your wishes are heard. So if you want us to play with your dogs, send you pictures, give treats - we are here for it. But if your dog prefers to not be bothered too much and is good with the essentials - we are here for that too. You tell us how we can provide the most comfortable atmosphere for your dogs. As far as experience goes, I've been a dog sitter on and off from elementary school through college and have volunteered lots of hours to our local shelter.... I love dogs and they're in good hands! :) This is a NEW and fun business adventure for our small family and we do not take it lightly! Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions-we will respond promptly. I only work a few afternoons a week, and my husband gets home before me during those days, so there’s only about 3-4 hour stretches of time we would be gone during the week. Due to this, we feel confident that we can take good care of your dog(s) while they stay here. Since we have the space we thought "why not?" when it came to the idea of dog boarding. We were not using our back 3 pens, other than allowing our dogs to roam them. There were some escape artists when the pens were originally used for breeding, so safety features include covered corners so dogs are unable to climb up and out using the corner fencing. Cement was also laid around the boundaries of the pens so digging cannot occur. If your dog likes to jump fences that would be a concern and a reason why we may not be a good fit for you. Of course, plenty of cold, fresh water will always be available to your dog(s) during their stay.

About: Hello!! My name is Maisy. I have worked in various different animal related jobs for the last 5 years, I worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility and I currently am a dog trainer. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.

I don’t like to do this, but if your pups are able to be home for about 6-8, then this would be a great fit! Your pups are my priority and I wouldn’t want them to feel uncomfortable with my wack work schedule in any way. My shifts will either be 6-2 or 2-9, or shorter. About: I have worked in veterinary Kennels and in shelters. I am also a certified Dog and Cat trainer through Animal Behavior College in 2013. I have been trained in animal first aide. I have a military I.D. so I can also care for military families as well! I come home on my lunch break to let the dogs run in the yard (we NEVER leave the dogs outside on their own for safety from hawks etc). The longest they are alone is 5 hours. Our live revolve around our own dogs so they will feel like one of the family in no time. We have a fenced .75 acre yard that we stay out with them for safety. Older pups will be carried on any stairs to prevent any falls. Kenneling is a part of our home for safety. But if we are home they are out. The dogs have their own room where they kennel that has safety film on the windows so they can benefit from the light but are not tormented by the squirrels in the trees. Cats are kept in their own area as well. I know how important your dog is and I will treat them the way I would want mine treated. With the exception of errands and taking kids to school I am home full time. We treat visitors as one of the pack. Often our visiting pups like to lounge on the couch when not supervised in the yard. I have a fenced yard and dogs are not left outside unattended (especially the little ones). We have a multi layered floor plan so if a dog needs to be alone for a bit we have the ability to do so.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a very long time. I own a cockapoo named BaeLee and she is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. I now own 2 dogs: Benito and Bernie. Benito is a Rottweiler mix and Bernie is a lab/pitbull. I adopted both from the shelter and have loved my new additions to my family. I take care of my family’s and friend’s dogs all the time from watching them, playing with them, feeding them, and walking them. I am very good with dogs and can be very patient if I need to be. From the time I wake up until I go to sleep I am always attentive to her needs. Every now and then I’ll take care of my uncles dog throughout the day and take him out every two hours. I am very nice and patient with animals. I love to pet them and play fetch or tug of war. I do not like to touch other’s things when I go to their houses and I respect their rules. I don’t do what I wouldn’t like done in my home to other’s homes.

I have been around them my whole life and wouldn't want it any other way. I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. In short, if either by choice or necessity you find yourself in need of a caretaker for your 4-legged (or more) companion(s), know that I would be elated for the opportunity and you can be assured that their health and well-being will invariably be at the forefront of my mind in all that I do while they're in my care. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats ever since I've been on my own. I understand how to read animals' behaviors, enjoy giving belly rubs and treats (if okay with you), I currently have 3 dogs, a female German Shepherd, Klee Kai and male husky mix. I am skilled in handling dogs and cats of all ages and am willing to learn any specifics needed for your special guy! I can usually care for an animal in the evenings on weekdays and anytime on the weekends. I am available for play dates, potty breaks, and walks around the neighborhood. I don’t offer in home services but I enjoy the welcoming from doggies and cats, playing with them to tire them out, and making sure they get all the love and snacks they need.
About: I’m an active adventurous person ready to play with the dogs or take them on walks. I have helped family, friends and neighbors watch their dogs, whether it be just a check in or a week at a time! I work as a phlebotomist in my other times, help family and create crafts for my page! Seeing as I have a cat of my own, I make sure to put her into my daily schedule and make time for her to play with her and her as well as make sure her litter stays clean and her food and water bowl stay full! About: Friends and family have relied on me to check in with, feeding and playing with their pets. And even sometimes have play dates with my dog.
