“If I were a dog, I would think i won the lottery if I got to visit this paradise and meet Marilyn!! My Rusty was absolutely joyous while he was there. Which is unusual as he typically goes into a deep depression when I leave him.”

“Brandin’s family is just the sweetest. They took great care of my dog, and not only that they kept her on Christmas Day. 10/10 recommend If I ever need a sitter again I would definitely go back!”

“Petra was a phenomenal sitter for our dogs. She was very communicative and friendly when setting up boarding. She sent photos each day and her property was great for two herding dogs to run around off leash. Perhaps most importantly, our dogs took to her right away since she treated them like her own. Petra is a warm and caring person and I give her my highest recommendation!”

“We can’t recommend Colter enough! He took wonderful care of our Corgi Saffron for two stays recently. One overnight and one 6 night stay. He communicates promptly and his home has been very clean each time we’ve been there. Saffron had never been anywhere overnight and she was excited to see him when we took her the second time and we’ve already booked another stay with him. His dog Rumi is very calm and sweet.”

“Chelsea and her family were wonderful with our dogs. We would definitely use them again. They sent us updates and pictures on our pets which were very comforting. Would recommend them to anyone”

“Tobey had a great time with Jennifer! We were able to do a last minute booking with her without any complications and she was eager to help. She also kept me updated and sent me photos while we were gone! Would definitely recommend and will plan to use her in the future!”

“Daisy stayed with Kelsey and family for 12 days. She bonded with their dogs and cats and Kelsey shared several photos of them together. Daisy is 13 and has arthritis and anxiety and takes several medications. She requires extra attention and the family went above expectations to care for her needs. I hope she can stay with them again.”

“Kathi was a pro at dealing with our little Charlie. I could tell that he bonded with her based on his body language. Thank you Kathi, for taking the worry out of this doggie mama.”

“Molly had an Amazing time with Mike & Jennifer. They brought her into their home and treated her like she was their own pet and that is such a reassuring feeling when you're away from your Baby on vacation. . . I am so thankful we found them!”

“Nadia takes such great care of our dog! She sends fun little updates so we always know how she’s doing. You can tell she really loves caring for pets and treats them like her own!”

“I could tell Tito was in good hands from the moment I dropped him off. It was great to know he was getting some socialization with other pups of similar size. Lauren sent updates throughout his stay. We would definitely use Lauren again!”

“Maisy did a great job with Ruby (and with me). She sent me a text with pictures of Ruby making friends on the first day and a little information about how she was doing. I got another text from Maisy the next morning to let me know how Rugy had done during the night. I really appreciated the update. This was the first day of my vacation, so I was not able to get Ruby myself, but my daughter got her. She said Ruby was glad to see her but would also have gone back to play with the other dogs if she had been allowed to : ) I will happily ask Maisy to look after her again when the need arises. Sorry this is so long in coming, but I only returned from my trip yesterday.”

“Jessica was great. She made me feel very comfortable leaving our Bruno with her. She has experience with dogs and other dogs in the home. Having humans and other dogs around was a lifesaver since our dog likes a lot of companionship. Way better than a kennel. Would highly recommend to anyone else and would book again!”

“Wonderful! Our dog Eevee enjoyed her stay and felt right at home. The owners of Hugh’s and Hounds were so friendly and did everything to make her stay great! Good communication, went above and beyond! Highly recommend and will use them again if we need to board.”

About: I’ve been around animals all my life and feel very comfortable with them. Growing up, I would help with caring for the family pets. I would clean up after them, walk them, feed/water them, kennel train/potty train, and play with them. I’ve grown up with mostly cats and dogs, but I am not opposed to caring for other pets. I am very much of an animal lover but currently don’t have a pet of my own, so I would love to be the caretaker of one of your sweet pets! I am a full-time stay at home mom. My schedule can be very flexible. I have a 1 year old who takes two naps a day which allows me to give appropriate care and attention to the pets that are in my care. I live in two story home with a fenced in backyard. A park is right down the street as well were people walk their dogs all the time. I live in a very pet friendly neighborhood. :)
“Cassandra was amazing!! Not only was she accommodating for our last minute boarding request but she sent pictures and checked in throughout the week. The dogs were clearly well taken care of and happy. We will absolutely book again in the future!”

“This is my third time booking with Valentine! She does a great job ensuring the comfortability of my cat! My cat is usually shy but is always quick to warm up to Valentine. Valentine does also does a great job communicating and keeping you updated!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
