About: I come from a farm happy family and managed a doggy daycare, with extensive work in animal rescue. I have dealt with just about any animal you can imagine. Dogs, cats, horses, goats, guinea pigs, fish, snakes, birds, etc. Both of my pets have passed away but I have more love to give. I love animals and am just looking to fill some of my free time and earn a little extra cash. My lab has since passed due to old age in 2019 and I said goodbye to my golden in July 2025. I do work M-F and would be out of the home from roughly 7:15-5:00pm depending on your location, my office is near the state capitol. I work full time for a nonprofit in Topeka, so I am out of the house from 715am-5pm. I love going on walks and being outside before and after work! On the weekends aside from some errands I would be around. I do have the ability to work remotely as needed, so this is an option if your pet(s) need more time and attention. I take animal safety very seriously, especially after managing a doggy daycare, things can be unpredictable. About: Hello!! My name is Maisy. I have worked in various different animal related jobs for the last 5 years, I worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility and I currently am a dog trainer. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.

About: I have done drop in visits, farm sitting, dog grooming, equine care, and taken care of many animals. I have at least 10 references. Love all the animals and will treat them with love and respect. I own a mobile dog grooming business so can make my own schedule. I have my farm animals but I have help from family to care for mine when I’m needed elsewhere. I prefer to let the animals be in their own home as they seem less stressed knowing they will be where there family will be coming back to. They have their comfortable spots and smells and doesn’t disrupt their routine but if necessary I could care for them at my home. Would walk smaller dogs on leash outside or have outdoor pens for larger dogs to get to run.

About: I grew up taking care of puppies and rescues with my mom, and then moved into helping at a shelter while I was in college. As a grad student and current renter, I can’t have pets of my own so am glad to have the chance to get some cuddles in with yours. I'm happy to work with dogs of all ages and sizes and follow direction well if you are working with any training techniques. I have a soft spot for older dogs in particular and am also happy to look after any plants. I currently attend KU as a grad student where I teach two days a week and am focused on finishing my thesis this semester. I have a fairly flexible schedule and so can maintain a consistent routine for most pets while you’re gone. I’ve traveled a lot and been fortunate to be a guest in many people’s home. I pride myself on being respectful and leaving a house at least as good as I found it. I also try to prioritize pet comfort since I'm a guest in their home too. I try to let them lead interactions so they have a chance to warm up on their own level. I'm also happy to respect household rules and uphold the boundaries the pets are used to (ie., if they're not allowed on certain furniture). If you have any plants that need care while you're away, I love leaning into my green thumb too.
About: I have had dogs since I was born, from chihuahuas to labradors. Over the years I have taken care of friends and family's various animals, pet sitting, dog walking, and even helping groom them. I love all animals and believe all animals should be loved! I especially love taking care of senior animals, and make sure to care for them at their level. Im very good with time management and routines, making sure your animals are always cared for on time and in their routine. I also love taking care of puppies. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats ever since I've been on my own. I understand how to read animals' behaviors, enjoy giving belly rubs and treats (if okay with you), I currently have 3 dogs, a female German Shepherd, Klee Kai and male husky mix. I am skilled in handling dogs and cats of all ages and am willing to learn any specifics needed for your special guy! I can usually care for an animal in the evenings on weekdays and anytime on the weekends. I am available for play dates, potty breaks, and walks around the neighborhood. About: In my day job I am a home health/ Hospice assistant so I not only have experience taking care of people I also take care of people's fur babies when they are unable to. I also grew up with dogs so there is not a day that goes by in 25 years I have not taken care of a furry friend I currently work monday through friday 730am to 330 pm so afternoons and weekends are when I am most avaliable, and over nights as needed. I have vast knowledge of walking safety, leash control/safety, environmental triggers, and the importance of hydration and rest. When pet setting, I like to have a secure outdoor/ yard area, i stick to the owner and dogs set routine,and I like to respect that I am a guest in the animals home

Very chill, laid back, and accommodated very well to my requests or changes. He is very responsive, updates on how Tako is doing, and detailed Tako’s visit at the end. The added bonus is that all I had to provide for Tako for his stay was a bowl and food, Steve took care of the rest!
