About: I am available for drop ins over the holidays! I have spent my entire life around animals! I have extensive experience with cats, dogs, and horses, as well as some experience with small pets, including rabbits, ferrets, and aquarium animals. I am certified in Cat & Dog first aid through the Red Cross, and I have previously worked full-time at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, so I have plenty of experience with all different types of dogs. I am also comfortable administering oral and topical medications, and have limited experience with injected medications. My schedule tends to be very flexible; however, I appreciate requests made well in advance. Please be aware that on a typical day I am ONLY available in the mornings and evenings, not at midday. I will provide a safe and loving environment where your pet will be comfortable and cared for like they are part of the family. I've cared for animals in every stage of life. I have extensive experience with cats including bottle-feeding orphaned kittens, caring for senior cats, and supporting pets with age related needs. I also have experience with puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, and I understand that each pet requires individualized care, patience, and attention. Work is flexible allowing for lots of love and activities. I have a large, fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor play with my dog. I typically do a 30-minute morning walk, a lunchtime walk, and an evening walk to help dogs stay active, stimulated, and on a consistent routine. I’m also very active myself and love spending time outdoors with dogs. Since I already care for my own playful Golden Retriever, Sully, having dogs in the home is already a big part of my everyday lifestyle. Sully loves having dog buddies around, so I’m looking for dogs that enjoy playing and socializing as well! I provide a safe, loving, and active environment for pets in my home.
