About: I’ve had pets since, forever! When I was younger 3 of our dogs had puppies at the same time & then we had 27 dogs to care for! I personally had a yorkie for 8 years. I have so much patience and love for animals and they are much more than animals & pets to me. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. About: Hello, How it all began. I grew up in a rural setting with multiple dogs, indoor and outdoor cats and for a few years chickens. One specific dog named Maxine was a beautiful intelligent, gentle Doberman that stole my heart. The bond I shared with her was special and she was my best friend. I knew from a young age I wanted to take care of animals. Fast forward, I'm a parent to 3 active kids, 2 sleepy cats, and 2 dogs (Pablo & Van). Over the past 10 years we've had a guinea pig, dwarf frogs, a hamster, and a Betta fish as well. A few years ago our family fostered 11 sweet dogs and 2 kittens. We have done in home care for a friends pup when they went out of town. My oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society in the past for a year. Our big family of animal lovers would love to care for your pet. I work from home each week. This gives me ample availability to care for your pet. My husband is also available multiple days a week and our two high schoolers are usually home in the evenings each day to give extra snuggles to your pet. We have a fenced in backyard. About: History: I have had dogs all throughout my life, starting in middle school when my mom and I adopted our first- under the agreement that I had full responsibility! Since then, I have had three dogs on my own, and I have provided care for my friends' and families' pets while they're away. Currently: I volunteer at Missouri Pit Bull Rescue weekly, and I have had several foster dogs through them as well. I dog-sit for my neighbors regularly. I live with my husband and our dog, Bully Porter, a 5-year-old spayed female pitbull mix. I am a registered nurse of over 12 years, and I also have experience administering medications to dogs. I am the main point of contact for the medical team through Missouri Pit Bull Rescue. I typically work from home, and during which, I have time through the day to care for pups who come to our home. Sometimes, we have a foster through the rescue, and during that time, I will need to turn off daycare/boarding. In the mornings, evenings, or over my lunch break, I can take dogs on walks or do drop-in visits. I am off most weekends as well. I do ask for flexibility with drop-in times, as my schedule may change with meetings and having to go in-person, however, I do my best to be accommodating, and I stay in communication. We have a 5' hog wire fenced yard with plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. Our female pit mix is SUPER friendly and would love to keep your dog company and play! About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 and I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I currently have four dogs and one cat of my own, so I’ve always been around animals. I work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I get to work with all kinds of dogs. I help with playgroups, feeding, medications, and making sure everyone is safe and doing well. I’m also comfortable with cats, including cats that are a little shy or like to keep to themselves. I recently graduated high school and just started at JCCC. I’m taking my prerequisites there and hopefully will eventually transfer to K-State and continue working toward my goal of becoming a veterinarian! My boyfriend, Cameron, is 20 and helps me with pet sitting. He loves animals too and has a lot of experience with them. He helped train our German Shepherd from a puppy and grew up with several cats, so he’s comfortable around both dogs and cats. I just like to let everyone know that Cameron may come with me for visits or overnight stays. We both really enjoy being around animals and will take great care of your pets while you’re away! I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I’m available before work, during my breaks, and after work. So I am able to check your pets every 4-5 hours. I also have full availability on weekends and Mondays. I do my best to be flexible to meet your pet’s needs !! When I’m caring for your pet in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible. Whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or plenty of cuddles, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own! I’d love the chance to meet you and your pets! About: I have over a year of hands-on experience working in an animal shelter and previously worked at a dog daycare facility for a year. In both settings, I cared for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and temperaments, including shy, high-energy, and special-needs pets. About: I’ve had pets since, forever! When I was younger 3 of our dogs had puppies at the same time & then we had 27 dogs to care for! I personally had a yorkie for 8 years. I have so much patience and love for animals and they are much more than animals & pets to me. As much as they are here for us, we reciprocate that love with care, respect, responsibility, structure, attention, and so much more. About: I've had pets my whole life, and that is not limited to just cats and dogs. A guinea pig I was gifted as a young child ignited my love and passion for living creatures. Since then I've loved animals of all shapes and sizes. I’ve worked at a pet store as their go-to animal care woman. I’ve cared for small mammals and reptiles and LOTS of fish. About: I have been dog and cat sitting since middle school, so 8 years now! I live in Oklahoma and go to school in Kansas and do Rover in both for half the year. I have a bigger dog and smaller cat of my own at home, but not in Kansas. I volunteer at the Lawrence Humane Society and love all types of animals! I’m currently in school but am available most hours of everyday. I don’t have many other obligations during the weekdays so I am very flexible with timing! About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. About: I have taken care of 2 dogs in my life. I know the basic’s, example , feeding, walking, and bathing. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. About: I’ve been taking care of animals for over 15 years now! I currently have a dog named Hunter and a cat named Harrison! I love animals, so I will make sure your fur baby gets all the loving! About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats most of my life! Friends and family rely on me for great pet sitting, cuddles, tons of playtime! I’m free for most of the summer besides helping out at my grandmas office or running errands when asked! Taking adventures with my own pup most of the time! In my home I have a cat and a German shepherd puppy! They typically eat at 5 am, go outside after 20-30 minutes after meal time. I will cuddle with both of them on the couch and play fetch with my pup until I do daily activities such as cleaning, etc. I take breaks to let my pup outside and take her on a walk if it’s a decent temperature outside. I also help take care of my grandmas pups as well, bunch of cuddly pups it’s like a dream come true. I work commands with my pup often throughout the day, walking around with a treat bag. I always check for ticks on each dog after they’ve been outside it’s summer! They like to come out more often now. I will always ask of a pets diet regimen, such as their foods, allergies, favorite treats, if they have sensitive stomachs, or if they are fully vaccinated! I also have a car that has pet covers on the seat because of my fur baby who loves car rides. I will ask what your pets schedule looks like such as feeding times, and bathroom breaks.
About: I worked at Summit Pet Care for four years. I worked in the daycare, front desk, and kennels department. I have made valuable relationships with several clients. For those clients I have pet sat for them while they have been out of town. I have also walked many of their pups during a busy for them. I work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and the rest of the week make time to exercise my own dog. Along with getting online classes done for UCM.. I care for my pets by always getting them with a clam but happy energy. First thing I always do with any pup is take them outside making sure there are no accidents in the home. If I am just meeting the pup I always allow them time to get used to me and make sure I am a loving person.
