“This was our first experience with Rover and therefore our first experience with Sam. We just have to say we could not be more pleased. We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and friends’ dogs since I was a child. I’ve also trained my own. We love dogs of all breeds! I work from home with a flexible schedule and my dog is with me all day. Kennel trained is preferred in case I do leave the house. My own dog, Olivia, loves to play with dogs of all sizes! She has a fenced in area to get her zoomies out or play fetch. She also loves walks and car rides. She is kennel trained and often in there if I leave the house for long periods. I have a camera on in this room so I can peep at her! I would provide this same love and care for your pet. We do have a cat, Stormi, who couldn’t care less what is going on in her house. About: Experienced Pet Caretaker: From Puppies' Playtime to Senior Pill Prowess! I have cared for many puppies, as well as our Seniors. I love to play with the puppies, however, I love making sure the seniors get the cuddles and treats they desire! I have a senior in my own home and administer daily pills, multiple times per day. I also have a pitbull puppy who will run herself ragged outside while chasing balls, gardening, and just running around. She also loves hikes and walks! I run my own massage business for in home massage. I am only working three days a week for a few hours at a time. Taking care of the pets is really easy with my schedule! I can carve out as much time as they might need in my day. I aim to keep there routine as normal as possible. I am very flexible in making sure I can do that! I personally feed my own dogs two times per day (morning and night). I have crated my dogs at night for many years, but that is because they love their space. I don't mind having the animals out and about if that is what they prefer! I love to take my own animals on several walks per day, especially with apartment living! We can do anything from short walks to long hikes. I also have had to give my own dogs medications and am no stranger to senior care.

“Veronica provides a safe, cosy place for dogs to stay when they can’t go with their owner, and my dog Bear was treated like family. Bear is almost 14 years old and not interested in playing, but he got along well with Veronica’s gentle dog, who Veronica carefully introduced to him. He likes to be with people, and he was so comfortable with Veronica that he relaxed at my feet when she and I chatted, instead of pulling me out the door. Veronica was very careful to help Bear negotiate around her house, as he doesn’t see well, and she was clever in making sure he could safely go out. Bear says he would go back anytime and I can heartily recommend Veronica to care for beloved pets.”

Many pet owners miss out on these cues, especially if they aren't trained to look for them. My 14 year old daughter loves to assist me when caring for your pet, please let me know if that is okay. I do work full time. If the pet is staying at your house, time permitting, I will check on them before work, lunch, and spend time after work with them. I will treat every pet as if they are mine. I do mostly gig work and am home and available for most of the day. I am available to take care of pets all day almost everyday and enjoy taking care of and meeting new pets. About: I've been taking care of pets for family, friends, and neighbors for years. I grew up around dogs and have yet to meet one that doesn't like me. Through the years, I've taken care of all types of dogs and cats; from young, crazy pups to old, sick dogs and from ornery mostly outdoor cats to snuggly kitties that want to use me as a bed. My other job is remote, so my schedule is very flexible for whatever your pet may need. Weekends or weekdays doesn't make much of a difference. I'm also a morning person, so early morning walks, feedings, etc are perfectly fine! For boarding, I have one pet friendly roommate and dog. The dog is so cat friendly that she annoys some cats by trying to convince them to play. My yard is fenced, but there is currently a damaged section that has been covered with temporary plastic fencing. The damage will be repaired soon and until then, I don't let anyone out there without supervision. For house sitting or drop-ins, I treat your pets the way I would want mine treated. I also try to match any routines your pet might be used to, if it's eating at a certain time or always being let out at a certain time, just let me know and I'll make sure to keep things as familiar as possible for your furry friends.

About: Hi! I have taken care of animals since I was a young child. I grew up taking care of a German Shepard and two cats. When I was a teenager I was the primary caretaker for my cat. From age 16-20 I volunteered at two animal shelters working with horses, farm animals, dogs and cats. I gained many interesting experiences working with goats, chickens, ducks and other animals while at the shelter. I dedicated more than twenty hours weekly volunteering. I currently have an older dog, who I adopted over four years ago when I lived in Florida. I am passionate about providing people's pets with quality walks and care. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to trust someone to take good care of your pet, but I work hard to ensure the pets are well cared for while you are away. I am a nursing student and will be working at my job part time to accommodate my class schedule. When I am not in classes or at work, my availability is very open. My schedule does vary as nursing school schedules vary but I am very communicative regarding scheduling and availability. I care deeply about pet care and ensuring pets are treated with love and kindness. I saw first hand how hard it can be to trust someone to take of your pets while you are away. It is my mission to ensure that each animal in my care is treated with love, kindness and with the utmost care. I ensure that if you trust me with your beloved family member I will make sure that they are comfortable and happy while in my care. About: I have taken care of dogs for about a year now, I take care of my boyfriend and his family’s dogs and cat. I will make sure your fur baby plays and enjoys their stay! Currently, I am available every day of the week, 24 hours a day. My work schedule may change, but I will always put your animals first! I have a fenced in backyard. My boyfriend has two dogs that could keep your dog company, they are very friendly with other animals. If not, that’s totally fine too! My backyard has a lot of space for your fur baby’s to run and play!

“This wonderful family took our dog in on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I felt really good about leaving him there. They have two darling sweet little girls that loved on him and other dogs for him to play with. Sara and Jason were very attentive to his needs and sent me pictures of him relaxing on the couch and outside running and playing. I was so appreciative of them taking him on such short notice, let alone over Christmas. When we picked him up the whole family came to the door to greet us. “This was our first experience with Rover and therefore our first experience with Sam. We just have to say we could not be more pleased. We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. Sam was great about sending frequent updates and pictures while hosting Elmer which really helped alleviate any concerns we had. He was very kind and seemed to let Abigail get comfortable at her own speed as she's never stayed with anyone other than 2 or 3 immediate family members. Jeffrey sent pictures as promised and had her packed and ready to go when i picked her up. This was my first time using Rover and very relieved to find Jeffery! About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and friends’ dogs since I was a child. I’ve also trained my own. We love dogs of all breeds! I work from home with a flexible schedule and my dog is with me all day. Kennel trained is preferred in case I do leave the house. My own dog, Olivia, loves to play with dogs of all sizes! She has a fenced in area to get her zoomies out or play fetch. She also loves walks and car rides. She is kennel trained and often in there if I leave the house for long periods. I have a camera on in this room so I can peep at her! I would provide this same love and care for your pet. We do have a cat, Stormi, who couldn’t care less what is going on in her house. She stays in her own zone!

About: I’ve grown up with and taken care of dogs of all kinds! Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, play and check up on their pets! I’m currently in school studying, which gives me a very flexible daytime schedule. I’m available for walks throughout the day and can accommodate a variety of timing needs, including mornings, afternoons and evenings! I have always grown up with animals but currently do not have any pets of my own. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, am reliable, attentive and happy to make sure your pets get plenty of exercise, attention and care while you’re away
