About: I’ve had a dog most of my life, but I’ve owned Cavaliers for 15 years. I’ve cared for multiple dogs (and cats) at one time. I prefer to care for dogs in your home. I can also care for fish, chickens and do general housekeeping. I reside in El Dorado, but for the last year, I have been substitute teaching in the Wichita metro area. Therefore, I do have some flexibility in my schedule at this point. I’m able to do potty runs during the day provided the distance allows it. I prefer to care for pets in my client’s home so that the dogs are used to their normal environment and routine. If needed, I can care for a single small-medium sized dog in my home, although the dog must be comfortable being on a leash as I do not have a fenced yard. Also, I am not a smoker or drinker.

Bear is almost 14 years old and not interested in playing, but he got along well with Veronica’s gentle dog, who Veronica carefully introduced to him. He likes to be with people, and he was so comfortable with Veronica that he relaxed at my feet when she and I chatted, instead of pulling me out the door. Veronica was very careful to help Bear negotiate around her house, as he doesn’t see well, and she was clever in making sure he could safely go out. About: I have been a vet tech for 10 years. It is my passion. I had a disabled boxer so I am familiar with need to help disabled pets. I currently share custody of an energetic border collie. My 14 year old daughter loves to assist me when caring for your pet, please let me know if that is okay. I do work full time. If the pet is staying at your house, time permitting, I will check on them before work, lunch, and spend time after work with them. I will treat every pet as if they are mine. We have two guinea pigs (who can be separated from other animals if needed). It’s just my husband and I and our teen daughter, who is generally the one our guest dogs sleep with! Fully fenced yard available to use with few steps. Upstairs and downstairs of house but not required to go downstairs if they don’t want to. Crate available, if they are trained or need it. I rarely see the need to use it but require crate trained dogs in case I need it. Common reasons would be during grocery delivery (to prevent escapes while door maybe open), unexpected visitors (if your dog would be uncomfortable, etc.), and such.

About: I've had a cat in my life since the day I was born, my parents still own the one we got when I was 13 (he's now 19 and going strong). I also walked a neighbour's dog from 12 to 21 (a lhasa apso) and have experience walking other dogs in a range of sizes, from papillon up to a 100+lb show golden retriever. Currently living the housewife life so schedule is flexible as heck. My own animals have a flexible feeding schedule in that they don't like food to be late, but if it's early they are thrilled. If your dog is crate trained, I'm willing and able to continue that as needed. Open to whatever walk length is needed for the pet in caring for. Willing to walk cats too if your kitty is leash trained (one of mine is and loves his outside time).

About: I have done rescue work for dogs. I actually have two dogs of my own one. I saved from the Humane Society and one I saved for a rescue who is going to be put to sleep for no reason. I am currently not working so I would be home all of the time with them. They would get all the attention in the world. We have a a fenced in backyard that they would be able to run around in and the cats would be kept inside and fed. What food daily if you please. I have a fenced in backyard and two very very friendly dogs who love new friends. Your dog would be very loved and taken care of.
