About: I’ve had a dog most of my life, but I’ve owned Cavaliers for 15 years. I’ve cared for multiple dogs (and cats) at one time. I prefer to care for dogs in your home. I can also care for fish, chickens and do general housekeeping. I reside in El Dorado, but for the last year, I have been substitute teaching in the Wichita metro area. Therefore, I do have some flexibility in my schedule at this point. I’m able to do potty runs during the day provided the distance allows it. I prefer to care for pets in my client’s home so that the dogs are used to their normal environment and routine. If needed, I can care for a single small-medium sized dog in my home, although the dog must be comfortable being on a leash as I do not have a fenced yard. Also, I am not a smoker or drinker.

Cassie has a gentle, calmness about her that my dogs took to right away. They are a bit protective of us but melted in Cassie’s arm after the first initial barks. She visited our house twice a day and fed, played with and just loved on our dogs. She is very communicative and sent tons of fun pictures. About: I’ve always loved cat’s and always will. I’ve had experiences with aggressive cat’s but in the end I know that it’s never the cat’s fault on why they can react that way. Even after I will always love to feed, play, and cuddle the cat’s I meet and will always want to meet more.

About: I lost my girl in late 2024. Pet sitting for others has really helped my heart to heal. I have always had a dog in my life but I am not yet ready to commit to my next soulmate. I work from home full-time and miss having a shadow with me. Comfortable with meds and needles, as needed. Comfortable with elderly dogs. I work full time from home, so rarely would your pet be alone. I treat your dog like I treated my own. If I run an errand, your dog runs an errand with me (as long as you approve). We might take a walk, we might Netflix and chill, we might swim in the summer, it just depends what your dog “tells” me they wanna do! We have two guinea pigs (who can be separated from other animals if needed). It’s just my husband and I and our teen daughter, who is generally the one our guest dogs sleep with! Fully fenced yard available to use with few steps. Upstairs and downstairs of house but not required to go downstairs if they don’t want to. Crate available, if they are trained or need it. I rarely see the need to use it but require crate trained dogs in case I need it. Common reasons would be during grocery delivery (to prevent escapes while door maybe open), unexpected visitors (if your dog would be uncomfortable, etc.), and such.
About: To me pets are family and that’s How I will always treat them. Im great with puppies and training them, also with seniors, comfy setting I’m currently self-employed employed and your fur babies will have my full attention 24/7. I’m very flexible and willing to work with you, and I will do my very best to make you and your fur babies comfortable. We currently have three adopted pups from the Kansas Humane Society, and over the past three years we’ve also fostered 11 dogs through KHS — including 5 puppies. Prior to Rover, I have dog sat, provided check-ins, and walked dogs for friends and family while growing up and occasionally in college. I do have experience with older dog care as well. While I do live in the Wichita area, I work in Newton during my regular 9-5. Because of this, I can easily provide drop-in visits and daily walking around my work schedule for clients in Newton! I work from home, so your pet will have 24/7 care and attention while staying with us! If your fur baby needs specific care that is based on a timed schedule, I can easily provide that. About: I've been an animal lover since childhood. Growing up, I was the one who cared for our family pets, and I would often volunteer at the local shelter with my grandmother. I've continued these experiences into adulthood, and spending time with animals remains one of my favorite pastimes I’m new to the city, so I am able to caretake full time. Should my schedule change due to work I will update my calendar accordingly. About: Our house is full of dog lovers! My husband has had pets his entire life. Our daughter's best friends are our THREE huskies. She is an aspiring Vet! Our dogs are our fur-babies. They have special places in our hearts. They are allowed on furniture and in the bed, as it should be! Have dog sit friend's dogs and they love the attention they get when staying over. We have a fenced in yard for freedom play. Your dog will get tons of attention from our family of humans and huskies! It may take a few minutes for our dogs to get a feel for each other, but they are playful and love meeting new friends!! Meet and Greet welcome before we schedule a stay, let out or walk! Our dogs get free roam of the house. They are kenneled if needed. They are usually let out after 4 hours, and at least every 4 hours there after. The dogs will always be on a leash if we go outside the house or yard. Otherwise, time will be spent in the house or in the fenced in backyard.

About: I've cared for many types of dogs and cats for 20 years, and been around them for longer. I love to give your pet exactly what they need when they are in my care; shy furbabies get lots of patience and space, excited ones will get the opportunity to work out their energy! Every pet is different and they have different routines and behaviors. I spend time getting to know what your pet responds well to in order to provide the best experience for them, including when they have anxiety or an abundance of energy. I have a flexible schedule, so I can dedicate time to pet care across the day and week. I'm home to care for my pets usually and can adapt to a routine for care as needed. I will come to your pet's environment and care for them in your home. I find that pets respond well to a new person when in a familiar place with all their food, toys, treats and smells. I understand the vulnerability of allowing someone into your home, and I conduct myself with integrity to match the trust you extend me. I ask for clear boundaries and communication about the care for your pet and allowed spaces in the home which will allow me to respect your home and private areas. I am comfortable cleaning messes because accidents happen when you combine new people, new routines, and anxiety. My intention is always to have you return home to an undisturbed environment and your safe and content pets.
