About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life (specifically German Shepard's and Boxers). I now have a family of my own with 9 and 12 year old kids. I have gone to adoption fairs and brought home two dogs now. Our first dog is a lab mix and our 2nd dog is a black lab. They are everything to my family and I which clearly means they are well love and spoiled. They LOVE other dogs off and on our property. My 9 year old has said "I dont like humans much, but I love animals" and this is so true for her since day 1. We are active in 4H, ahe show and competes in horse events. About: I became a foster parent for GPSCA at the end of 2020 after adopting my bubbi with them during the summer. I took care of a mom and 3 puppies as my first assignment, all were adopted! <3 A few months after that, I fostered an older dog who had recently had surgery, who also got adopted after a couple of months with me. I love playing with dogs and getting to know all of their different personalities. My bubbi is an old man who loves to just snuggle and play catch with you. He's all about those TREATS too. Recently promoted to a hybrid job, 3 days in person, Mon-Weds. Unlike before where I was WFH. This would take me away for about 8-9 hours on those days. I know it can be scary for a pet to meet someone new. I like to make any dog I'm pet-sitting feel comfortable in its own environment. Whether that means I just sit there until they are comfy with me or abiding my their normal routine, I don't want them to feel out of place.
About: I currently have 4 cats. All of them have their own fascinating stories of coming to be mine. Snuggle though, Snuggle is one for the books. I adopted Snuggle, an elderly cat abandoned after her original owner passed away then she was adopted again. Her second home left her when they moved and she ended up at the shelter a second time. When I first brought her home, she required daily shots, medications, and constant care. It took time—about six months—for her to acclimate to my other pets and feel comfortable in her new environment. I was committed to providing her with everything she needed, and through patience, love, and dedication, Snuggle is now thriving. At nearly 20 years old, she no longer needs medication and is living her best life. Snuggle has become my sweetest, most loyal companion, and I’m so grateful for the bond we share.

About: My pet care experience began when I was a young child. My parents have always had at least five pets that I helped train and take care of while growing up. After we moved to a farm, they adopted more pets (dogs, cats, chickens, etc.); which allowed me to have more responsibilities and experiences taking care of animals. In college, I adopted my dog and had her for over 13 years. Sadly, she passed from old age and I have not adopted another pet since. I currently have a full-time job, but it does not involve animals. About: I have had dogs my entire life and seriously don't know a life without them. I have two stubborn, little dachshunds who think they're in charge most of the time. They also have two human sisters who they are very overprotective of (they’re 8 years old and 1 year old). My oldest dachshund had surgery for IVDD a few years ago so I am familiar with administering oral medication and providing needed crate rest. I have experience in taking care of puppies all the way up to the more cranky and older dogs. My husband and I work opposite schedules so there will always be someone home with your pup. I'm responsible, reliable, and I promise to treat your fur babies as if they were my own! For boarding, the amount of time your dog is left alone will be very minimal since my husband and I work opposite schedules. I have my dogs to take care of too so I’m used to caring for pets. For drop in visits, I can only do so before 7:30am and after 5pm, unless it’s a weekend. My availability can vary on weekends so just reach out and I’ll see if I can help! I have a fenced in yard for your pets to play in and go potty. I’m also able to crate them if necessary. I will feed your pets separately from mine so there are no altercations.
About: Ya know that child that has a heart for anything living? That child that wants to nurture even the wooly caterpillar or the slimy toad? Well, that was me and I’m still that child at heart today. If there was a stray within a 5 mile radius of my home, we’d find each other and become family. To this day, if I see an animal in need I cannot turn away. At the age of 11 I began sitting and walking my Aunt Linda’s Pekingese, Toyboy. Toy and Auntie taught me from a very young age the importance of keeping animals safe and respecting their personal boundaries as well. Animals ARE family members and should be treated as such. I’ve spent ample time as a volunteer in local rescue shelters, fostered adoptable dogs in my home and have always had at least two pets of my own consistently (the most at one time was six, and, honestly, it was a little slice of heaven to me). My personal experience as a pet mom has taught me many things. The good, the bad and the ugly. I’ve managed flight risks, diapered seniors, enforced the cone of shame, nursed wounds and stitches, cleaned up many a pet mess (from both ends) and administered medications. If a pet requires it, I’ve likely done it! One of the best and worst parts of being a pet mom is watching our babies grow older. As they age they change and need even more patience and love. There’s a special place in my heart for the older pets and I’m happy to patiently provide anything they need in your absence. A person is only as good as their word, and if you chose me to care for your babies, you’ll have my word that I will treat them as my own and give them the best of care and attention until your return. After retiring early from my career at 48 I’m finding I have more time on my hands than I can fill and I’d love to spend my extra time providing service to animals in need. Animals bring me a level of joy unsurpassed by any other activity I endeavor. Simply put, they make life worth living. They make me laugh, and laughing is truly the best medicine. I understand the importance of pet safety. I’ve had several personal pets that were lifetime “flight risks” (runners) so I know the importance of keeping a watchful eye on them every moment. Walking is a favorite past time and I’d enjoy the company of your fur babies. I’ll be happy to walk pets, check in on them throughout the day as needed, sit with them if they need more attention or administer necessary medications (I will not administer pills to cats). Having had several senior pets and a dog with cancer that I treated holistically for a year, has made me keenly familiar with senior and special needs pet care. Whatever your pet needs, I likely am able and willing to provide.

About: I grew up on a farm and fell in love with animals by being constantly surrounded by them! I started doing Rover in July, 2024 and I am loving it! I am currently living in Gardner, KS and am a physical therapy student at KU medical center. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide your pets with the care that they deserve. I am currently in school Tuesdays and Thursdays but the rest of the days I have completely free! My fairly open schedule makes it easy for me to give your pups lots of care and attention. To me, quality care for an animal means quality time spent with them! This is a skill that comes very naturally to me because I absolutely adore all animals. Making sure that dogs get proper nutrition, physical activity, and loving is very important to me.
About: I've had three family dog throughout my lifetime and have helped to take care of them. Additionally, I have dog sat for family friends on multiple different occasions. I am a senior at Pittsburg State University and would love to dog sit, dog walk, or anything else when not actively studying! I am available starting August 20, 2024! I love dogs. About: I have had dogs for 12 years. I am the neighborhood go to for pet sitting. My favorite time of the day is walking my two boys! My children are grown and out of the house. I would love to fill my days playing and walking your dog love! I can walk two dogs weighing 100 lbs each at the same time. “We can’t recommend Colter enough! He took wonderful care of our Corgi Saffron for two stays recently. One overnight and one 6 night stay. He communicates promptly and his home has been very clean each time we’ve been there. Saffron had never been anywhere overnight and she was excited to see him when we took her the second time and we’ve already booked another stay with him. His dog Rumi is very calm and sweet.”
