About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. About: I became a foster parent for GPSCA at the end of 2020 after adopting my bubbi with them during the summer. I took care of a mom and 3 puppies as my first assignment, all were adopted! <3 A few months after that, I fostered an older dog who had recently had surgery, who also got adopted after a couple of months with me. I love playing with dogs and getting to know all of their different personalities. My bubbi is an old man who loves to just snuggle and play catch with you. He's all about those TREATS too. Recently promoted to a hybrid job, 3 days in person, Mon-Weds. Unlike before where I was WFH. This would take me away for about 8-9 hours on those days. I know it can be scary for a pet to meet someone new. I like to make any dog I'm pet-sitting feel comfortable in its own environment. Whether that means I just sit there until they are comfy with me or abiding my their normal routine, I don't want them to feel out of place.

I usually always have some kind of a rescue at my house whether it be a foster dog or a some off the wall duck someone brought to me. I take care of them all as they were my own. About: Taken care of dogs my entire life. I now have a large backyard with plenty of room for play. If you have a dog who likes or needs to run we definitely have the room for that. We run K-9 Lodge of Gardner which you’ll find on Facebook. As a result I’m almost always home. If I do have to leave it usually isn’t for long and someone is still usually home. If a reason should come that I need to leave I will be able to give plenty of notice. I have two dogs myself. A Siberian Husky and a mixed dog about 20lbs Both love to play with other dogs. About: Ya know that child that has a heart for anything living? That child that wants to nurture even the wooly caterpillar or the slimy toad? Well, that was me and I’m still that child at heart today. If there was a stray within a 5 mile radius of my home, we’d find each other and become family. To this day, if I see an animal in need I cannot turn away. At the age of 11 I began sitting and walking my Aunt Linda’s Pekingese, Toyboy. Toy and Auntie taught me from a very young age the importance of keeping animals safe and respecting their personal boundaries as well. Animals ARE family members and should be treated as such. I’ve spent ample time as a volunteer in local rescue shelters, fostered adoptable dogs in my home and have always had at least two pets of my own consistently (the most at one time was six, and, honestly, it was a little slice of heaven to me). My personal experience as a pet mom has taught me many things. The good, the bad and the ugly. I’ve managed flight risks, diapered seniors, enforced the cone of shame, nursed wounds and stitches, cleaned up many a pet mess (from both ends) and administered medications. If a pet requires it, I’ve likely done it! One of the best and worst parts of being a pet mom is watching our babies grow older. As they age they change and need even more patience and love. There’s a special place in my heart for the older pets and I’m happy to patiently provide anything they need in your absence. A person is only as good as their word, and if you chose me to care for your babies, you’ll have my word that I will treat them as my own and give them the best of care and attention until your return. After retiring early from my career at 48 I’m finding I have more time on my hands than I can fill and I’d love to spend my extra time providing service to animals in need. Animals bring me a level of joy unsurpassed by any other activity I endeavor. Simply put, they make life worth living. They make me laugh, and laughing is truly the best medicine. I understand the importance of pet safety. I’ve had several personal pets that were lifetime “flight risks” (runners) so I know the importance of keeping a watchful eye on them every moment. Walking is a favorite past time and I’d enjoy the company of your fur babies. I’ll be happy to walk pets, check in on them throughout the day as needed, sit with them if they need more attention or administer necessary medications (I will not administer pills to cats). Having had several senior pets and a dog with cancer that I treated holistically for a year, has made me keenly familiar with senior and special needs pet care. About: I grew up on a farm and fell in love with animals by being constantly surrounded by them! I started doing Rover in July, 2024 and I am loving it! I am currently living in Gardner, KS and am a physical therapy student at KU medical center. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide your pets with the care that they deserve. So i can keep your dog or cat during the day. I can walk dogs after 5pm. I have one older rescue dog and 2 older cats. They love company. They also have two human sisters who they are very overprotective of (they’re 8 years old and 1 year old). I have experience in taking care of puppies all the way up to the more cranky and older dogs. My husband and I work opposite schedules so there will always be someone home with your pup. For boarding, the amount of time your dog is left alone will be very minimal since my husband and I work opposite schedules. I have my dogs to take care of too so I’m used to caring for pets. For drop in visits, I can only do so before 7:30am and after 5pm, unless it’s a weekend. My availability can vary on weekends so just reach out and I’ll see if I can help! I have a fenced in yard for your pets to play in and go potty. I’m also able to crate them if necessary. I will feed your pets separately from mine so there are no altercations.

There hasn’t been a time in my life that I haven’t owned some kind of pets. I’m reliable and would love to be a part of your families routine. I work from home and my work day is fairly flexible, specially to families that are in Spring Hill. I usually can make most times work. I am a very trustworthy, punctual, and caring human. I will go above and beyond for your furry children. My presence in your home would be to your requests and routines. I’ve yet to meet an animal that did not feel safe with me.
About: I've had three family dog throughout my lifetime and have helped to take care of them. Additionally, I have dog sat for family friends on multiple different occasions. I am a senior at Pittsburg State University and would love to dog sit, dog walk, or anything else when not actively studying! I am available starting August 20, 2024! I love dogs. I love to play with them and comfort them and keep them company in any weather on any day. I also love to go on walks. I am very attentive to any dog's need and I am ready for any situation.
About: I've had indoor dogs my entire life. I currently have a 13 year old Senior Beagle and his sister, 10 year old Beagle mix. I will treat your animals with the same care as I do mine. I know what's it's like to be busy and not be able to get home during the day to care for your dog. I will walk, or let your dog out to potty. I will give medication if needed along with check for food/water. I can also text, send pictures during my visit. I currently work from home, which gives me a flexibility daytime schedule to walk, let out to potty and play/interact with your dog or cat. I will show your pet love and care for your piece of mind. I have a fenced yard for my two dogs, but I also see the great benefit in walking them daily. I will gladly come to your home, let your dog(s) out and walk them if you like. I will also take great care to make sure your dog or cat stay safe and keep all doors and gates closed.
About: I have had dogs for 12 years. I am the neighborhood go to for pet sitting. My favorite time of the day is walking my two boys! My children are grown and out of the house. I would love to fill my days playing and walking your dog love! I can walk two dogs weighing 100 lbs each at the same time. I would walk the route you choose or create a new adventure for your pup to keep them engaged! If they preferer to play at home, I'm great at tug of war!
About: I've had pets my whole life, and that is not limited to just cats and dogs. A guinea pig I was gifted as a young child ignited my love and passion for living creatures. “After just moving, I was looking for a sitter in the area for my dog (Levi) and found Sarah and Cyrus. I love that they have a maximum of 3 dogs at any time, Levi had free roam of the downstairs/outside, they answered all my questions, and as I was worried my dog may jump the fence - stayed outside with him anytime he went out. They always answered any questions I had very quickly, and sent picture updates each day. I will keep taking Levi there when I'm out of town.”
