About: I have 30+ years of pet care experience from caring for family companions as a child to running a farmed animal sanctuary (currently) and everything in between. I have worked with nearly every domestic specie and some wild too. I recently "retired" after being a nanny for a family for eight years and have transitioned to working from home so I can spend more time at the sanctuary. I would love to fill in some of my spare time caring for other's companions as it's my true passion. I'm currently working from home as a bookkeeper where I create my own schedule. About: I’m a dog dad myself and have a love for all kinds of pets. Anywhere I go, dogs get pets and greetings before the humans 😅 I have experience with more high needs dogs, as my own dog has digestive issues and requires prescription food, daily medication by mouth with each meal, and monthly injections. I have also dog sat for family friends for many years, giving me experience with insulin injections and specialized feeding schedules. My parents have 3 cats and I’ve spent many weekends taking care of their babies while they’re traveling. My availability is very flexible! During the holidays, I’m available for drop ins and dog walks for anyone traveling for the holidays! About: Over the past two years, I’ve been responsible for caring for a Golden Retriever from puppy to adulthood. I’m familiar with maintaining routines, handling energy levels, and making sure dogs feel safe and well cared for. I am a full-time work from home employee and I’m able to care for dogs while I work. I enjoy getting out to walk and play during the the work day. I have a smaller home, approx 900 square feet. It’s a loving home with two teen girls who love to care for dogs. About: I am not a professional but sometimes I believe that’s okay. I’ve had dogs since I can remember. I’ve always had such a big heart when it comes to animals. I worked at a shelter while I was in high school and the hardest for me was not bringin them all to my house. I have two dogs of my own. They’re both older girls and very very laid back and friendly. I think every dog has personality of their own and that’s what is beautiful about dogs. I think taking care of dogs is more than a chore or a job, i think it’s more of passion. Please note that if you are planning on boarding with me I do have small children and cats, so a meet and greet is non negotiable and must be done before the stay. “Samantha was great. I was nervous about leaving Nala with anyone, but we met Samantha and felt at ease. She sent us updates on Nala periodically. When I went to pick Nala up, she seemed very comfortable there. We are definitely going to be using Samantha again on our next trip.”
