Our dogs are our life, and it speaks for itself that when we round the corner to her house they start squirming, ready to run inside to the toy bin or a puzzle. The photos we get have become one of our favorite things to anticipate when we are away and the communication is awesome. When I sprung on her we were at last minute adding a 4th to our pack, and was hoping to update our most recent booking she didn’t blink an eye and in fact checked in on us in the weeks prior, interested in knowing how he was integrating into our family. I also have a minature golden doodle which is certified thru Alliance of Therapy Dogs of which we visit hospice patients regularly coordinated thru Main Street Hospice located in Franklin. About: I have had a dog of myself for 10+ years, and he has definitely helped me learn a lot! I’m able to easily form great relationships with any dog I have met (so far), and absolutely adore being around them and caring for them. Thanks to my experience as a dog owner, I know all there is to know of the basics of caring for dogs of all ages. My current job has me working 2-6 Monday through Friday, and 1:15-6 on Wednesdays. Since I don’t work long hours, that leaves me pretty open when it comes to pet care! Since I don’t offer boarding in my own home, I will travel to yours to care for your pet. When housesitting, I tend to hang out in the area where your pet is in the most to keep an eye on them if they need anything, and to keep them company while I’m around (if I can, I also like being on the floor so if they want to come and say hi or get some pets I’m right within their reach)! Also, I may be unfamiliar with the neighborhood, but that won’t discourage me from taking your furry friend on walks if they’re able!

About: Hi, my name is Melinda of bark and stroll. I love animals. I have my own animal and I love taking care of animals inside my home or your home. I am retired, and I have plenty of time to take care of the animals. I love playing with them and taking them on nice walks. I have a decent sized yard. It’s not fenced in so I do walk the animals on a leash and we have some woods with paths near my house. If the dogs over 50 pounds I prefer them to be crate trained.

About: I have cared for many animals growing up, my mom and I were both adopters of all kinds of strays. But I have been loving and caring for my very own sweet girl for 9+ years! We adopted our baby from the humane society at 3 months old and worked through potty training, leash training, and command training. Please allow your pet to be my outlet so I stop asking my husband for another dog 😬 I am a homeschool momma so I am home or outside adventuring most of the day. I have a nice sized yard, however, it is not fenced in so if your fur baby likes to run off from time to time we may not be a good fit. I have 3 small kiddos (and myself) who would love nothing more than to snuggle on your pup! And our Vega girl enjoys running and playing with other doggos so your pup will get plenty of love and exercise! We do have 11 chickens who stay in their coop (we do let them free range from time to time, but they will be kept in their coop while your pup stays with us). However, due to having small children and chicks we will require a meet and greet before your precious pup comes to stay with us.

(can be flexible just let me know the time ahead of time) Saturday and Sunday pick up and drop off anytime. we will play and have fun. As far as eating if they have a certain eating schedule let me know and I can follow by that. Majority of my front yard is fenced. I will go outside to let your dog to use the potty. I also have a big field not far from my home for then to run and be walked around.

About: I've never worked for a company like Rover but I've watched many people's pets, mainly friends of the family. My household has two dogs and 3 cats, two of the cats are kittens. I like small dogs but big dogs are my absolute favorite. I personally have a great dane who is a dork and I love him so much. We used to bread great danes so I can work well with puppies. :) I currently work part time, I work most mornings till about 10am and am free after that. About: As an adult, I’ve taken care of four separate dogs. I have experience taking care of senior dogs who needed multiple medications, IV antibiotics and fluids. Most recently, I have trained my current pup to reduce his anxiety with other people. I have potty trained him, leash trained him, taught him basic commands, and give him daily oral medication. I am very patient and like to ensure the dogs comfortability while learning. I currently work four days a week as a nurse, so I will have ample time on the three days that I am off work each week. I treat my pets (and yours) like family. In my role as a mother and a nurse, I take care taking very seriously, and that tends to bleed over into the rest of my life as well.
About: I have a master's and bachelor's in animal science and plenty of experience with an array of different animal needs, demeanors, and personalities. Taking care of animals is truly what I love to do. Pet care is built into my routine through daily feeding, walks, playtime, and grooming, plus weekly cleaning and health checks. It provides structure to my day and keeps me active, mindful, and consistent. I care for pets by providing regular feeding, exercise, supervision, and enrichment. Although I don’t have a fenced yard, I use a designated area in my apartment where dogs can safely roam, play, and relax, along with scheduled walks and attentive care.
About: I've had animals my entire life. Dogs and cats! I take care of humans in the ER, and want to take care of my preferred kind of babies (fur babies) on my days off! I'm an RN! So I am working 3-4 shifts a week which leaves plenty of time to take care of fur babies on my days off! I will take care of my clients fur babies in ways that are preferred by the client! If that's stopping in for play time, snuggles, walks, etc! I can do it all!

Our dogs are our life, and it speaks for itself that when we round the corner to her house they start squirming, ready to run inside to the toy bin or a puzzle. The photos we get have become one of our favorite things to anticipate when we are away and the communication is awesome. When I sprung on her we were at last minute adding a 4th to our pack, and was hoping to update our most recent booking she didn’t blink an eye and in fact checked in on us in the weeks prior, interested in knowing how he was integrating into our family. I cannot say enough good things about Destinee and her family, they hold a special place in my and my dogs hearts!”

For our next vacation, we chose Brooke and Bryan, and it turned out to be an excellent choice.
