The last few years since becoming a remote worker, I have been pet sitting in clients homes administering simple meds and taking general care of their cats and dogs (often both). If my rates are showing differently, it is because rover tags on an extra 20-30%, which is the percent they take from you. About: I have grown up always being attracted more towards plants and animals. I have two cats and lovely doggo myself. I would like to help out others in need who needs a sitter for their fur baby(s). I myself know that it is hard to find someone I know who will pay attention to my girls and not just keep them locked up in a kennel all day. I have worked in a kennel before and know I would rather have a trusted companion/friend watch my fur babies than to put them into a kennel while I am gone. All 3 of my fur babies are certified emotional support animals and I would really enjoy the company of your fur baby just as much! I am currently have a lot of downtime to help out those in need. When I do eventually get back to working my normal schedule is Monday-Friday from 7:30-4pm. I normally stop at the grocery store on my way home from work before rushing home to the fur babies to let her out to potty. I do not go anywhere once I get home and its play time right before I give supper. my house is is pet proof. anything that can be chewed on is picked up, I have a lot of space for animals to play and move about, a unfenced in yard (I have a yard leash) that is around woody area and a corn field, and I have an extra room with nothing in it incase anyone needs to be separated.

About: Hello! My name is Sarah Zarlenga. I am an absolute animal person. I couldn't imagine life without a dog or other animal companion by my side. We tend to have an immediate understanding and bond that is indescribable with words alone. That being said, I actually have 4 canine friends of my own. I have a senior, male Siberian Husky named Chaos, a Doberman mix named Alrik, a male German Shepherd named Arthur, & a Papillon/Rat Terrier named Little Guy. I have also cared for over 60 large, hound breed dogs at once on a daily basis for a dog rescue in Texas for 2 years, and I volunteered and worked for another dog and horse rescue with several breeds including huskies and pit bulls for over 3 years. I also helped care for the rescued horses, cats, & chickens, so I have experience with their care as well. Furthermore, I helped out at an Aussie breeder for about a year. Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs ever since I can remember. We had a few dogs when I was a small child, but the one we had the longest (from 2 months old till the end of her life at 13 years) was a super sweet & intelligent Chocolate Lab whom we called Angel. Later on, I lived with my dad and he got us a puppy who grew to become a 125 lb Belgian Shepherd named Buddy, so I would take him for walks and to play at the dog park. Now, I have 4 dogs of my own who I consider to be my fuzzy children. Caring for pets on a walk is an essential part of being a responsible pet sitter. Walking your pet provides them with excercise and mental stimulation. To ensure that your pet is well taken care of during our walk there are several important steps that I follow. First and foremost, it is crucial to make sure that the pet is properly leashed and under my control at all times. This is not only for the safety of the pet, but others as well as the sitter. Proper leashing depends on the size and weight of your dog. I am mindful of your pets physical needs and limitations. If your dog has medial conditions or is older please consider booking shorter walks. Weather is also an important factor within dog walking. If weather is too severe and I do not think it is safe for your pet … I will ask you to reschedule. Please check the weather before booking. I am mindful of your pets body language, and other cues during our walk. If I am sensing something may be upsetting your pet … I will contact you immediately. No need to provide poop bags … I always bring extra. Caring for pets on a walk involves a combination of proper equipment, consideration of their physical needs, attentiveness to their behavior and respect for the environment. By following these guidelines and taking the time to ensure your pet is happy and safe … I am creating a positive and enjoyable experience for both you and your pet.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10. I love dogs more than I do people. I feel terrible when dogs are left home alone, so I won't let that happen. I am currently a college student. I have set aside time in my days to care for your dogs. There may be certain times I cannot care for your dog, but I will block that off in my calendar. I live off campus with 3 other dog lovers. No need to worry about misbehaving college kids. The house where dogs will be cared for has 10 plus acres of safe fenced off areas. Dogs will receive the best care from me in or outside of my home.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs, cats, chickens, horses, cows, you name it my entire life. I’ve had small dogs such as chihuahuas and as big as English mastiffs. About: We offer pick up and drop off of your pet for our Boarding Facility! You shouldn’t have to worry about your pet while you’re gone, so we would like to help! At White River Boarding Facility, we offer multiple runs for each dog to have space to move around and stay comfortable. We are able to meet you to pick up and drop off your pet! We understand it’s not always convenient to take your pet places, so we are ready to help you! Pets are taken out multiple times a day, fed according to owner’s directions, and runs are cleaned every day! Since the Facility is Veterinarian owned, if any issues were to arise such as sickness, at the owner’s consent and expense, we can treat and care for your pet at the on-site Veterinary Office!
