About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. I have always had dogs. I became a cat mom a few years ago when we inherited our Grandcat. He is special needs and we love him so much. I have experience with diabetic cats and know how to administer an injection of insulin. I have learned and know a lot about cats now since having my first cat. I have retired from my full -time job after 36 years this last summer. I take care of my own special needs cat on a daily basis. He is a diabetic senior cat and needs two injections a day. I'm currently unemployed so available pretty much any time to care for animals. Once I find a full-time job, my schedule may change a bit but if my job is remote then I would have a lot of flexibility to care for the animals. I have a fairly large fenced yard for running and playing. Trees for observing the squirrels! There are 2 outside cats that do not really mind other dogs. My dog has done very well with other dogs as long as they are not aggressive or too big. I also live in a nice neighborhood where dogs can be walked, including a nice, wooded area with a great trail for walking. I also live close to Eagle Creek park where dogs could be walked.
