I worked in a general practice hospital for 5 years then transitioned to an Internal Medicine department where I worked for 5 years. With a special interest in senior dogs. I am able to administer medications for advanced disease processes. I am currently a stay at home mom, so I am home most of the time. I will be able to provide one-on-one attention, play time, and multiple bathroom breaks throughout the day. I have a very large fenced in back yard that is safe for your dog to run around in. About: Since I was little I've always had a dog to care for. Not a moment goes by where I’m not thinking of an animal . I have experience with puppy potty training, and elderly dogs. “This was our first time using Rover, and Melissa was fantastic! We left our little Rooney with her for a week and he was in such great hands. She checked in with a few photos and videos for the week, and filled us in with updates on how he was doing. She has a wonderful set up for pups with a big fenced in yard. We will definitely be using her services again! Highly recommend :)”

About: I’m the go to dog sitter in my social circle! As a designated dog-mom, I’m always trying to give each dog the best care I can from different enrichment activities like lick mats or puzzle toys to long 3-5 mile walks through the neighborhood or through a park. I do have my own dog, who loves to play but will also enjoy quiet naps with any visiting dogs. I am lucky enough to work from home so pets are not left alone for the work day. They would have access to a fully fenced yard for outside time several times a day. When a pet is in my care, I do my best to keep to their routine while keeping mine and my own dog’s routine. While with me, they’d have opportunities to not only play with my dog, but to run outside in a fully 6’ fenced in yard, different enrichment activities and to work on any training their pet parents would like us to work on.
