About: I have pet sit for many years. I love meeting new animals. I enjoy pet sitting because as a social worker I am able to come home to an animal and sent time with them. Animals are the way I cope. I have plenty of time to play with animals in the evenings and weekends. MY CAT BACKGROUND: I'm currently taking care of and slowly bonding with a feral calico cat my family rescued from a car hood, and it's already taught me so much about patience and trust with cats that need a lot more than your typical attention. I have been taking care of her for a few months now and can't wait to continue to grow with her. Before this, I housesat for family friends for over a week, during which I cared for their 3 cats and 1 dog, feeding twice a day and making sure they got plenty of playtime throughout the day. This also included me caring for their house and plants, doing general upkeep throughout the week. I also have experience caring for a sweet but playful grey tabby in my home in Indiana. While shared with 5 adults, holiday breaks were spent just me and the cat, which is honestly where my favorite memories of us come from! I have given pets medication many times, including wound care, vet visits, and special feeding instructions. You can see pictures of my grey tabby in his cone after he got fixed (and unfortunately had to be on antibiotics) on my page!
About: Hello! I’m a student at BSU, and have always loved my 3 cats. They are in my hometown, so I’m looking to take care of fur babies in college town! I used to cat sit for some families back home, so I have 4 year of on and off experience. I understand some cats are standoffish, and some love cuddles. I respect whatever level of comfortability the cat chooses haha. Regardless they will be fed, watered and have clean litter! I also make sure to watch out for accidents because cat pee left sitting damages stuff. About: I love to make others feel more comfortable about leaving their beloved dog in capable hands while they are away! I work from home so the dogs are not left alone. I love dogs but am not ready to have two in my home full time. Pet sitting helps to keep my dog socialized.
