During summers we are available at all waking hours of any days we’re not on a family vacation. During the school year we lose family pet minders during the school day but are available after school and on weekends. We provide three walks a day and also provide doggie daycare services to help socialize pups, if requested by owners. We have two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Hank and Harley, that we use for socialization. They are lover dogs and enjoy playing with other pups! Daily pictures will be taken and sent to owners. I previously had a small blind incontinent senior terrier who has since gone over the rainbow bridge, so I understand the extra patience and attention required to make them feel comfortable. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an active adult, or a gentle senior, I will provide the best and reliable care while you are away. I am currently homebound so your fur baby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby so having a temporary walking companion would be great therapy! In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.

About: I have grown up on a farm all my life caring for dogs, cats, cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs. I showed competitively in 4H, so providing good quality care is very important to me. I work full time Monday to Thursday in the medical field, so I’m available all day Friday-Sunday to take care of any needs or pet care. I have one dog of my own, a border collie named Ryder. I have a very large yard for plenty of space to run and crate if needed.
About: I grew up around untrained dogs, not afraid of any animal. I had two cats of my own and raised them from kittens so I’m great with cats!! I am nice and patient and have never been one for caging in animals unless it’s to travel to appointments, so your little loved ones will always be free to wander with me. I try to put on interactive games and toys are highly encouraged to bring! I do freelance work so if I’m pet sitting your baby will be the number one priority! We have local shops within a mile that allow cats so if you’re open, I can allow your pet to go for outdoor time.
About: I have been around dogs since the day I was born, and my family has always had at least two dogs in our family at all times! I have also always been a trusted source when it comes to watching family, friends, and neighbors' animals! For example, I have watched puppies, dogs, kittens, cats, fish, and even guinea pigs. Two of my own dogs are Leader Dogs for the blind moms, so I have experience with all different kinds of situations and ages when it comes to dogs. I also have experience with elder dogs as I have had 4 dogs pass from old age and have experience with health problems in dogs as well. I currently do not have a job so I am available any day at any time. I do have a prior commitment from July 23rd-27th and I leave for college at the end of August. I have a ton of experience when it comes to safety and caring for pets. My dogs go outside with a leash on, especially during walks. If there is a fence for the pets to use I will keep my eyes on them at all times, because no one ever knows what can happen. I have experience with putting pets into a crate or cage if necessary.

About: I have had over 30 years around pets. People trust me with their pets and love the care and attention that I give their pets. I substitute teach and also work part-time. I am mostly around late afternoons and on the weekends. As a fitness person, taking dogs when owner likes dogs to exercise is my favorite time with the pet. I keep the space open for the pets and also have toys for them to keep active and entertained. I also play with them often so they are well cared for.

With that being said, I have took care of animals from when they were puppies/kittens- to when they were old and gray. I understand that leaving your fur baby with someone else when your away can be very stressful, but rest assured that I will be there to provide excellent and quality care for your animal. Being able to take care of animals is truly a blessing and I take pride in that! I currently work at an elementary school during the day (Monday-Friday until approx. 4 PM) and I am searching for opportunities to be able to help within our community when I am available to do so! Being able to do this and being a helping hand for people in need is something I look forward to doing! Taking proper care of animals is what is in my best interest.
