About: Animals have always been a big part of my life — I grew up around dogs, cats, and pretty much every pet in the neighborhood, so being around them just feels like home. I started pet sitting for family and friends when I was young, and it kind of grew from there through word of mouth, which honestly means the world to me. I have experience taking care of other people's animals as well as taking care of family pets such as my sister's dog (beagle mix) and my parent's dogs (two Chesapeake bay retrievers and a rescue hound). About: ABOUT ME: Completely insured WITH Animal Bailee Insurance and Vet Protection Coverage through PCI. I have been on and off Rover since I was in college and own my small business. Currently, I have a tuxedo kitty named, Mr. Sir. His is my laid back, street rat, expert hunter that does not like to be indoors. I have currently have a flock of 14 chickens. This is my second flock of chickens owned since 2019. I am a previous dog owner. My animals were not only my pets, but they were my family. I had my Labrador for 13 years and my Boxer mix for 15 years. We used to love to take long strolls around the neighborhood and visit our pals at the local dog park. We would cook dinner and lounge around watching our favorite flicks. We even took car rides around town when we got bored. Over the years, we went through everything from crazy puppy phases, to professional command/leash training, and experienced all medical scares (labs love to chew on EVERYTHING) under the sun. I can assist with any type of need ranging from long walks, simple belly rubs, to training help. Maple, my lab, was a diabetic for 7 years, requiring insulin injections. I am highly experienced in administering topical, oral and injectable medications, as well as eye and ear medications. The care needed for my senior dogs helped build my knowledge on many types of medications and daily care pills. Whatever the need may be, just ask me! EDUCATION: I am a graduate with my b.s. in buisness from Purdue. I currently am a stay at home mother, with much freedom to build my own schedule. About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. My partner and I both work from home and we have two dogs of our own, so pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I have 2 friendly, crate trained dogs who get walks 2-3 times/day. “Jinna and Dui kept Nissy for 5 hours today as a way for them to get to know Nissy and vise versa before she stays with them for a week starting this Friday. Jinna sent pictures and a video during the stay to help alleviate my fears (we’ve never left Nissy with anyone but family before). When I picked her up, she was happy and interacting with Jinna’s dog and another dog Jinna was sitting for…which was really a wonderful surprise because Nissy usually just tries to hide from other dogs. Jinna’s house is very clean and pet friendly, she has a great back yard and she is so sweet and gentle, and is obviously very comfortable caring for other people’s pets. I can finally relax and enjoy myself when we can’t take our pup with us knowing she will be loved and well cared for by Jinna!”

About: Since I was 14, I’ve been responsible for taking care of my own dogs and those of my neighbors, family, and friends. I come from a large dog family, from a Great Pyrenees to Labs and German Shepherds, but I’ve also been able to care for smaller dogs in my neighborhood. I’ve also cared for sensitive and reactive dogs who came from hard backgrounds, so I have experience taking it slow to build trust. I also care for cats as well, with experience from my own 13 year old orange cat and my mom’s two crazy kittens. Whether it’s taking them on walks, playing tug of war, giving them meds, or just keeping them company, I love any time I get to spend with fur babies. I’m preparing to leave for a scholarship in Poland at the end of September after graduating with my Master’s degree in May, so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am free most days and times with the exception of a few days with prior commitments throughout the summer. I strive to provide the best care with the utmost respect for you and your fur baby’s home. If there’s anything I should know about your pet’s care preferences or any neighborhood/environmental concerns, please let me know so that I may keep your pet safe at all times. I have experience with fenced in yards and open areas, as well as plenty of experience with flight risk dogs (those German Shepherds love to run!) and returning them safely home.
