About: I have owned and cared for numerous pets throughout my entire life. We currently own 2 dogs. I have experience with puppies through adult dogs. My preference for overnights and boarding are on the weekends (until May), but I am available for walks and drop in visits almost any day of the week. About: I have had animals all of my life and have cared for them immensely. My family and friends say I have a special way with animals. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for almost 2 years and got lots of experience caring for dogs there as well as opportunities to sit outside of it which has become a huge part of my life. I have knowledge and experience on all sorts of problems that may arise in both cats and dogs including cpr. I am currently a full-time purdue student who takes most classes online so I have plenty of time to care for your fur baby! I love going on walks so you can guarantee your fur baby will get some long peaceful and smellful walks! So far I have done both in-home and in my home. I make sure to have a specific wake up sleep schedule so my animals and the ones I have watched have a routine and care. As I mentioned before I love walks… so walks are guaranteed! About: Hi!! My name is Marissa Gordon, I’m 27, married and own a bi-level home with lots of space. I have a backyard with a large deck overlooking a woodsy ravine that dogs love hanging out on to watch wildlife and relax with us! Our house is setup to keep your pets separated from ours if necessary- with 2 living rooms upstairs and downstairs. We love watching movies with them and taking them on nature walks in our neighborhood! I am a business owner so I am able to work my schedule around caring for your pets. I can tend to them and may need to leave the house for appointments no longer than 3 hours if needed but my husband also is home in the case I can’t be there 24/7. We keep your pets areas clean and cozy. Temperature controlled, access to water and we take them out to the yard when they need to potty and for walks if possible.

About: I’ve had dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember. When I was about 10, I became obsessed with reading about different dog breeds and their needs. My first job actually working with pets was a dog daycare. I loved building connections with the pups and their parents. At this job, I learned defensive handling skills (how to avoid or break up fights or attacks) and how to handle reactive, scared, and stubborn dogs. I work shorter hours on weekends so I’m able to make plenty of time for your baby, plus my wife is always home and will occasionally help care for your pet when I’m not around. I like to have group play or just time outside when it’s cool in the mornings and evenings. I have a fenced backyard that I check for holes daily and an open front yard (leashes at all times out front). I’m able to crate your dog at anytime they might need it and can even have them in a separate room if crates aren’t their thing. Another bonus is that my wife is home just about full time and is able to care for your pet when I’m not around. If I’m at your house, I will take your dog outside on a leash the first few times just to see how they are and to make sure they aren’t an escape artist once mom/dad is gone

About: I've taken care of all types of dogs and cats from all age ranges. I love animals, and I have been animal-sitting since I was around 12 years old, for about 7 years. The biggest skills I have are being able to spend extra time with the animals to make them feel loved while you are away. “This was our dogs' first stay with anyone new. They were both anxious & kept peeing & pooping in Surama's home because of it, even though she was taking them out very often. Surama was very patient with them & made their stay a good one regardless. We didn't anticipate this issue & felt terrible about her having to deal with cleaning so many messes. I appreciated that she was open & honest about what was happening, while assuring me it was fine & in no way causing us to feel worse about it. She also sent pictures of them playing with her family & other dogs, which my daughter especially appreciated. Surama was so kind & we will definitely use her in the future.😊👍”

“I asked Emily to pick up Vicky from the kennel and care for her overnight while I was returning from an overseas trip since my flight arrived late before New Year's. Not very usual after a few weeks without seeing me, Vicky was happy and very calm on my return, thanks to Emily's! She sent me pictures, cuddled with Vicky, and even washed her bed. Emily is great with dogs, and I will get back to her anytime I need to leave town.”

About: I have had animals all of my life and have cared for them immensely. My family and friends say I have a special way with animals. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for almost 2 years and got lots of experience caring for dogs there as well as opportunities to sit outside of it which has become a huge part of my life. I have knowledge and experience on all sorts of problems that may arise in both cats and dogs including cpr. I am currently a full-time purdue student who takes most classes online so I have plenty of time to care for your fur baby! I love going on walks so you can guarantee your fur baby will get some long peaceful and smellful walks! So far I have done both in-home and in my home. I make sure to have a specific wake up sleep schedule so my animals and the ones I have watched have a routine and care. As I mentioned before I love walks… so walks are guaranteed! In the clients home I make sure to provide the same level of care and attention to the pet as I would my own or in my own home!

About: I promise to care for your pet as I would care for my own! I am extremely attentive to my dogs and would expect the same from others. I love all animals but have also felt more connected to dogs as I grew up owning them! My dogs are well cared for and loved! As a pet owner, I plan the needs of my dogs around my tasks for the day! I always make my dogs a priority and would do the same for others! I am attentive to my dogs and understand how quickly they can wander. I keep a close watch on their behaviors and understand and act upon behaviors that are not normal. My dogs are family and I understand the love owners have towards their animals.

About: I have taken care of my parents senior dog in my home while they were out of town. Helped a former coworker with her dog, also in my home, while she was out of town. I have helped a friend of mine with their senior dog + 4 cats in their home as drop in visits while they were out of town. Since starting Rover, I have had multiple in home stays with dogs, and homes that have both dogs and cats. I work full-time from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. My morning routine includes leaving the house by 7:00 AM to take my child to daycare or school. Before departing, all pets in my care are taken outside, fed, and provided with any necessary medications. Depending on the proximity of your home, I may be available to stop by during my lunch break to check on and care for your pet. After work, I pick up my child from daycare and can typically arrive at your home around 5:00 PM. Upon arrival, dogs will be taken outside promptly and fed as needed. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss specific care needs or scheduling. I care for pets with the same level of attention and compassion as I do my own. I follow each pet’s individual feeding schedule, ensure they always have access to fresh water, and administer any required medications as directed. Dogs are taken outside regularly for bathroom breaks and exercise, and I make time to play and engage with them to keep them happy and active. For cats, I maintain clean litter boxes in addition to providing consistent feeding, fresh water, and attentive care. I also enjoy offering treats when permitted; my daughter especially loves helping to give treats, making it a fun and positive experience for your pet.
