“Nora is great. Kia is an older dog and set in her ways. Nora was so patient with her and took top notch care of her. I got daily updates. Kia wouldn’t eat for the first couple of days and Nora found a solution to get her to eat. Your dog is in good hands with Nora.”
“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. About: I’m currently a Junior in college and I miss my dogs at home, which is what made me want to become a sitter on rover. I have two bernedoodles at home. One is 4 year old and one is 6 months old, so I’ve had experience training both of them and caring for both of them. I also walked a neighborhood golden doodle frequently in high school. Last summer I nannied a family with an adorable pitbull that I cared for in addition to the children. I also had a golden retriever growing up for 12 years. I love all ages, sizes, and breeds of dogs. I have a summer class from 9-12 every morning, but other than that I can be home all day. I spend most of my time studying at home, but love to go for walks as study breaks and I live a very active lifestyle, which dogs would fit into perfectly. I also love being outdoors and I live alone so I’d love the company of a furry friend. It really depends on the client and how they want me to care for their pet. I want to do as much as I can to make their dogs feel at home and at ease. I’ve seen how hard it is for my own dogs back at home to adjust to a new environment, so I want to provide a healthy environment for other people’s dogs. About: Hello my name is michkayla im a single mom that’s unfortunately between jobs I do lots of handyman type side work but not quite cutting at the moment i recently just got my puppy Rufus who was a stray when I found him and it reminded just how hard leaving a pet alone at home all day can be so I figured with my love for pets I’d give this thing a shot im very patient and know how to handle dogs and other pets safely I did 3 yrs of animal science in high school and have 25 yrs of owning pets I’m currently job searching and full time parenting a three yr old im always available from 9-3 for any pet kid friendly anytime before or after those time I ask pets to be kid friendly as I’ll most likely have my child with me I give pets time to get used to me before approaching I’ll often follow up with common training and of course lots of love and some possible treats (with approval from parents )

About: I’ve been around animals, especially dogs, my whole life! Caring for my family dog from puppyhood to senior years has been one of the greatest joys. “Nora is great. Kia is an older dog and set in her ways. Nora was so patient with her and took top notch care of her. I got daily updates. Kia wouldn’t eat for the first couple of days and Nora found a solution to get her to eat. Your dog is in good hands with Nora.”
“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. Thanks again for a great stay!”

“Laura & her home are both so warm and friendly, from the moment I dropped Cheeto off I knew he was in good hands. I left my cat with Laura for 5 nights while I was out of town and got updates on how he was getting acclimated to the environment and what he was up to with pictures every day. She’s so good with animals and introducing them to one another (with regards to my cat meeting her cats), and even gave me some helpful cat care tips. Know that if you leave your fur baby with her, they’ll definitely be cared for and loved in your absence. I could tell Cheeto really liked her and was a bit bummed when we left; he got a vacation just as much as I did. :) I’ll definitely be looking for Laura’s availability next time I need a cat sitter again.”
About: I’m currently a Junior in college and I miss my dogs at home, which is what made me want to become a sitter on rover. I have two bernedoodles at home. One is 4 year old and one is 6 months old, so I’ve had experience training both of them and caring for both of them. I also walked a neighborhood golden doodle frequently in high school. Last summer I nannied a family with an adorable pitbull that I cared for in addition to the children. I also had a golden retriever growing up for 12 years. I love all ages, sizes, and breeds of dogs. I have a summer class from 9-12 every morning, but other than that I can be home all day. I spend most of my time studying at home, but love to go for walks as study breaks and I live a very active lifestyle, which dogs would fit into perfectly. I also love being outdoors and I live alone so I’d love the company of a furry friend. It really depends on the client and how they want me to care for their pet. I want to do as much as I can to make their dogs feel at home and at ease. I’ve seen how hard it is for my own dogs back at home to adjust to a new environment, so I want to provide a healthy environment for other people’s dogs. When I get clients I make sure to ask them about their dogs routine, so I can do my best to mimic that.
