And "cared for" Chrissy and family did! She sent me photos of him every other day and I got to see how normal life stayed for him while I was gone. Another reason I felt comfortable with Chrissy is that she has the vet tech background. Mr. Miyagi has allergies and can be a little high maintenance. I wanted someone who could recognize his allergies and respond accordingly if needed. Chrissy was great! I give her 4 "dog thumbs" up!”

About: I have always had dogs and cats in my life and many other animals . I currently have 5 dogs, 3 cats and a bunny. I take pet sitting very seriously. I will take the best care of your pets when I am spending time with them. It brings joy to help others get the best care for their pets while they are away. I would prefer to take care of your pets in your home because that is where I think they feel most comfortable. However, I do watch dogs in my home and after a successful meet and greet with your dog(s) and mine we can set up a booking at my house.

Karen was very knowledgeable, and Curtis seemed drawn to her right away, which pretty quickly helped to put us more at ease. Karen was great with Curtis and sent us several fun and cute updates throughout the day about snuggling, playing piano for him, and his unexpectedly strong attachment to her husband Jim. When we picked him up at the end of each day, Curtis seemed happy and confident, which indicated that he had a lot of fun hanging out with Karen (& Jim), and we always stayed an extra 15 minutes to chat. Her house was kind of a drive from where we were staying in downtown Cincinnati, but Karen was well-worth the drive. About: I began professionally caring for animals 10 years ago when I got a job at PetSmart as a Pet Care associate! From there, I became a kennel technician at one of the top rated veterinary clinics in Cincinnati, Animal Care Center, and after a year of working there as a kennel technician they trained me to be a veterinary technician. I then had my first son and stayed home with him and had a farm with pigs, chickens, and all kinds of wonderful animals! When I decided to rejoin the work force, of course I went back to what I love most, caring for animals. I worked at two different kennels full time and helped manage one of them. I am able to give medications to pets and I’m comfortable giving insulin shots. If you’re interested in drop-ins for medication only while you’re at work or out, I can do that! I’m available any time, just discuss with me what would work best for you. During overnight stays, I will fill out a report to return to you so you will have complete details of how your pet was while you’re away! I’m also willing to FaceTime and send pictures so you know that your pet is safe and sound. Housemates would be my loving and gentle 5 year old son and my fiancé. I have a small chihuahua myself who is very friendly with all other pets. Since I do have children, any pets staying at my home must be child friendly. I’m always available whenever you need me. I’m a stay at home mom, so I’m very flexible with my schedule. Short notice or planning months in advance? I’m here! I have two children who love pets and give them plenty of friendly attention. I also have a chihuahua who gets along with other dogs but is convinced she’s truly a cat so she doesn’t play much! Pets remain leashed at all times during walks and get walked multiple times a day during pet-sitting.

About: I walk the dogs at the animal shelter when I have extra time. I have done this on and off for about 3 years when I can. I work part time night shift and I’m in school 3 or 4 mornings a week, but I often have time in the afternoons and weekends. I have grown up with dogs and cats. Also FYI - for boardings if pickup on the last day is after noon I will ask for a day fee of $35. I’m currently unemployed due to brain surgery I had this time last year to remove a large cancerous tumor. Luckily I recovered beautifully and quickly and am still fully functional, minus a little extra forgetfulness but nothing bad at all. So I’m available all days of the week, and have all my time, attention and love to give your pet(s). I’m very experienced with dogs of all types large, small, u name it. I’m a big guy at 6’4” and about 225 lbs so I can handle em all. I’m also rather calm and quiet which I believe helps animals feel at ease around me. The animals safety and health are my number one concern when caring for someone’s loved pet(s).

She got along with the other dogs and loved hanging with the children. We would definitely reach out to Kymberlee to see if she could keep Larkin again. “Scout and Fergus were treated to a stay with Lindsay and family during our visit to Cincinnati. We were so very pleased with the treatment and care given our dogs. We will not only use Lindsey again, but consider more visits to the area having confidence that our pets have made new friends.
