Wrigley has never been boarded so all of us were nervous how he would react. Receiving frequent updates and photos put our mind at ease. Nichole seemed genuinely attuned to Wrigley's and our anxieties. He looked cared for, socialized with other dogs and looked great after a wonderful bath. About: We have always had pets (Mostly Dogs) growing up and have never met a dog or cat that didn't like us. We are the type of people that animals (Fur Babies) just feel at ease with. About: We have always had pets (Mostly Dogs) growing up and have never met a dog or cat that didn't like us. We are the type of people that animals (Fur Babies) just feel at ease with. From the smallest of toy and lap dogs to the much larger Great Danes and Mastiffs. We will always get along, even the dog that nobody can handle and scares them. My patients never wears thin and eventually all, even the most stubborn pet warms up to me. Any pet under our supervision will always be taken care of from walks, to alone time to calm their nerves if need be but NEVER neglected. We truly believe that your Dogs and/or Cats should and will be treated just you would. Thanks, Between my wife and I we are essentially available 24/7. And hope to accommodate any ones schedule. Our routine will be scheduled around whatever is needed We have a full half acre completely fenced in (Wooden privacy fence). And of course whatever it is you and your dogs like enjoy we will accommodate.
About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise. I currently work part time with very flexible hours so I am frequently available to provide service to both my own pets and others. I find it very fulfilling to be able to make time for my own furry friends! Working in a shelter environment I often met many animals at their lowest when they were beyond scared and upset. I got exposure to many dogs and cats that were horribly unadapted to life around people and had personalities on either end of the spectrum. I am more than comfortable with animals that are more aggressive in both appearance and personality and was frequently tasked with retrieving abandoned or lost animals using the company van.
About: I've been caring for animals most of my life, from growing up with family dogs to being a dedicated cat owner for the past four years. Caring for pets has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and giving each animal the love and attention they deserve. Although I'm new to Rover, I'm committed to providing dependable, personalized care and treating every pet like they're part of my own family. I'll always follow your pet's routine, keep you updated with photos, and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I'm available Monday through Saturday during the morning and afternoon for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I have a flexible part-time schedule, so I'm happy to work with your pet's routine whenever possible. Sundays are my day off, so I'm unavailable that day. When caring for your pet in your home, I'll follow their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I'll make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of playtime, walks (if needed), and lots of love and attention. I'll also keep your home tidy, clean up after your pet, and provide regular photo and text updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. About: They call me that because once you start feeding squirrels, birds, stray cats, neighborhood dogs walking by, and maybe a raccoon & possum once or twice, like me, then you’ll start to befriend them. Soon after it’ll start to feel like animals are attracted to you (but it’s mostly because I give them food lol). I go by Janet and I love animals from feathery to furry. I have 4 birds, 7 cats and 1 turtle (all rescues). I know that with the proper care and instruction I can take care of any friend! New update from November 2025 - I’m back on Rover after a year-long hiatus and accepting new clients in the Chicago land area and northwest Indiana. 😊 My husband and I moved into a house with a spacious backyard in Lansing, Illinois. I’m open for arranging pick up and drop off as I do have a reliable transportation. Lastly, a meet and greet at my home would be ideal so your pup(s) can meet my husband, who will be there a majority of the time, and get a feel of where they will be staying. But rest assured I will be 100% responsible at all times for your pup(s) while under my care. I currently work from home. I set my own schedule, so I’m available to work whenever I am needed including mornings and weekends. Preferably daytime and Fri - Sat date night evening. I care for pets by making sure to thoroughly read care instructions and immediately contacting the owner by either call or txt if I have any questions. And most importantly by never letting them out of my sight!
About: I have always enjoyed spending my time with animals. I got my first dog when I was in elementary school - sadly he recently passed away - but since coming to college I have been missing my sweet fur baby. Being able to play with and care for someone else's pet while also earning extra cash would be an ideal job experience for me. Getting a new pet really isn’t an option for me right now. With all the free time on my hands, and I would love to get the chance to spend it walking and playing with your fur babies! In the past, I have dog sat for other friends and family and I really enjoyed it and having the extra company is always a plus!

I am able to quickly identify if there may be a problem with your animal while in my care and can take necessary action to ensure they remain safe. I have a open schedule since i am able to start focusing on my love for animals and helping others they may need help caring for their animals The care my own animals get is they are feed once a day and get treats throughout the day and go on walks or play with there toys or unwind and watch tv and I would treat the animals in my care with the same love or however it is their own cares for them

I like to believe that they respond to the love that I've always had for them! With my services, I’ll make sure the pets are loved and cared for like my own, whether they be cats, dogs, or more! Rest assured, your fur baby will be in great hands☺️ I am currently in school full time, but am available in the mornings and evenings to care for your pet! I am also available Sundays for in home, drop in, or dog walking needs I can be of service in anyway that is needed! While I’m not able to provide care in my own home, I am able to complete safe drop ins, sitting in the pets home, or dog walking if needed.

“This was Bonita's third trip to Mary's. On the latest visit, Bonita immediately ran and sat on Mary's son, Gary's, lap and gave me a look "Im fine, goodbye". So I left.
