About: Pets have been part of my life since I was a child. I began working in a dog boarding facility during my high school years and followed the animal track into my college education and became a licensed veterinary technician. I have pet sitting and veterinary working experience with dogs, cats, cattle, chickens, and horses. I worked in a mixed animal veterinary practice as a licensed veterinary technician for 4 years, then moved to an equine only veterinary practice for close to 5 years and currently at an equine veterinary practice employed as a registered veterinary technician. I have a 2 year old spayed golden retriever who travels everywhere with me as well as a 10 year old shorthair female spayed cat who enjoys her days sunbathing in the sunshine. I work full time as a registered veterinary technician; I typically work 4 days a week with one day off and approximately every 4th weekend at the clinic. I have availability in the evenings, days off, and most weekends. My golden girl loves to play and have company and the cat will offer her cuddles as well during in home stays. I constantly observe the pets I care for and make sure they are happy and healthy. About: I’m a dog dad myself and have a love for all kinds of pets. Anywhere I go, dogs get pets and greetings before the humans 😅 I have experience with more high needs dogs, as my own dog has digestive issues and requires prescription food, daily medication by mouth with each meal, and monthly injections. I have also dog sat for family friends for many years, giving me experience with insulin injections and specialized feeding schedules. My parents have 3 cats and I’ve spent many weekends taking care of their babies while they’re traveling. My availability is very flexible! During the holidays, I’m available for drop ins and dog walks for anyone traveling for the holidays! During my normal work week, I can easily schedule my days to accommodate dog walks or drop ins to let your furry family members out to potty while you’re away! Weekends are completely open as well! I am retired, and I have plenty of time to take care of the animals. I love playing with them and taking them on nice walks. I have a decent sized yard. It’s not fenced in so I do walk the animals on a leash and we have some woods with paths near my house.

About: Pets have been part of my life since I was a child. I began working in a dog boarding facility during my high school years and followed the animal track into my college education and became a licensed veterinary technician. I have pet sitting and veterinary working experience with dogs, cats, cattle, chickens, and horses. I worked in a mixed animal veterinary practice as a licensed veterinary technician for 4 years, then moved to an equine only veterinary practice for close to 5 years and currently at an equine veterinary practice employed as a registered veterinary technician. I have a 2 year old spayed golden retriever who travels everywhere with me as well as a 10 year old shorthair female spayed cat who enjoys her days sunbathing in the sunshine. I work full time as a registered veterinary technician; I typically work 4 days a week with one day off and approximately every 4th weekend at the clinic. I have availability in the evenings, days off, and most weekends. My golden girl loves to play and have company and the cat will offer her cuddles as well during in home stays. I constantly observe the pets I care for and make sure they are happy and healthy. I tailor my care for each individual; whether they enjoy multiple walks, adventures, or just want extra cuddles their happiness is my top priority.

We were unable to secure a volunteer to do overnight boarding for our girl Charlene. I was apprehensive but, I did a search on Rover.com for an overnighter in the Greensburg IN area. About: I had German Shepherds, Welsh Corgis, a Jindo, and a mixed-breed dog back in Korea, and all of them were well trained. When I meet a new dog, I try to become their friend by making gentle eye contact, lowering myself to their eye level, and offering my hand while patiently waiting until they feel I am safe. I have also dealt with aggressive dogs several times, and in the end, they too became my friends. Since I work from home with flexible time during the week, I have not had my own pet yet because I felt it would be unfair to leave them alone for long hours. However, on weekends I usually dedicate time to myself through photography, driving, and hiking, and I would truly enjoy having the company of your dog or cat during those times. Taking care of a pet would naturally fit into my routine as part of those weekend activities, giving me both companionship and joy while also ensuring the pet has quality time and attention. In my home, I would care for pets as if they were my own friends—providing attention, playtime, and walks, even on rainy days, to make sure they stay active and happy. In a client’s home, I would first ask about any rules or restrictions, such as areas of the house that are off-limits, preferred snacks, daily routines, and any medical concerns. I believe following the owner’s guidance is very important to ensure the pet feels comfortable and safe in their familiar environment.
