I worked at a shelter while I was in high school and the hardest for me was not bringin them all to my house. I have two dogs of my own. They’re both older girls and very very laid back and friendly. I think every dog has personality of their own and that’s what is beautiful about dogs. I think taking care of dogs is more than a chore or a job, i think it’s more of passion. In my opinion you have to love dogs to be able to take care of them the way they need. I hope I can be what you’re looking for.

About: Over the past two years, I’ve been responsible for caring for a Golden Retriever from puppy to adulthood. I’m familiar with maintaining routines, handling energy levels, and making sure dogs feel safe and well cared for. I am a full-time work from home employee and I’m able to care for dogs while I work. About: Your fur-baby/babies will receive my one on one care throughout their stay. Summertime is a very busy time for dog sitting, so I may have more than one family at a time, but typically I try to book one family at a time. If you prefer just your family’s fur baby to be watched during their stay, please let me know and I will work with you or let you know if I have another family booked during your requested time/times. I am well versed in watching dogs body language and social cues. I ensure everyone is safe by feeding everyone separately, including my own dogs. Many fur-babies enjoy visiting our home, playing with toys, enjoying treats ( allergy friendly of course) visiting and playing with our dogs and cats, running around our fenced yard, receiving all the pets/scratches/belly rubs, and all of the love and snuggles to make them feel at home. I have experience administering meds, dealing with allergies ( my lab mix is allergic to the world and has to be fed ONLY her prescription food), puppy play and potty training, very active younger dogs, as well as older dogs who may need a little more care or help throughout their stay. I am very patient with anxious, nervous, and shy dogs. Anywhere I go, dogs get pets and greetings before the humans 😅 I have experience with more high needs dogs, as my own dog has digestive issues and requires prescription food, daily medication by mouth with each meal, and monthly injections. My parents have 3 cats and I’ve spent many weekends taking care of their babies while they’re traveling. My availability is very flexible! I have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, Guinea pigs, birds and bearded dragons. Pet care fits into my routine as I am pretty flexible on weekends, so that I can let them out frequently. I work as an instructional assistant for an elementary school. I can care for animals before and after work as well as my lunch breaks. I follow the school schedule and get holidays and breaks off as well. I prefer staying in the clients home so that the pets can stay in their comfort zone and as close to their normal routine. I treat every dog like family, paying close attention to their energy, comfort, and individual needs so owners can feel confident knowing their pets are in caring and dependable hands. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I currently work part time and am home the majority of the week. I have open availability during weekdays from 8am–1pm and 3pm–8pm, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and giving pets the attention they need. I enjoy being active and spending time with animals, so caring for pets is something I genuinely look forward to rather than seeing as just a job. I prefer caring for pets in their own home because it allows them to stay comfortable in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I make it a priority to carefully follow all instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walks, medication if needed, and any specific care preferences. I also understand how important trust and communication are, so I will provide regular updates, pictures, and check-ins while owners are away so they can feel reassured that their pet is safe, loved, and well cared for.
“AMAZING! Spectacular! There isn’t a word to express how amazing Jason and Tania are! Kona was treated like a king :) Tania sent the best pictures and always let me know how Kona was feeling. She communicated every concern and showed how much she loves what she does. After a few walks she figured out his likes and dislikes and just let my pup do his thing whether that was rolling in the grass and just chilling or watching all the squirrels. Kona also LOVED Tania, you could tell by the pictures. I was always at ease knowing that Kona was being cared for so wonderfully. Not only are the best people ever, they are also extremely flexible and are amazing communicators. When ever I had a last minute walk needed or a change in schedule they were eager to help make that change. They will be Kona's number one choice for walks for life. ❤️”
About: I’ve been taking care of neighborhood dogs and cats for over 8 years now. I’ve taken them to the park, feed, bathe, etc. I have been relied on by many different people and I never like to disappoint a client. I am a recent college graduate with plans on going back to school to further my education and working part-time mostly in the evenings so I would be available during the day and Im also available on weekends. I have two dogs myself that are trained and when it comes to a clients dog, I would be make sure to abide by their rules only and make sure they are comfortable with everything. I’m currently a student and working part time so I have plenty of time to watch and care for your pups! I will always work my schedule around the pets that I am watching to make sure they come first! In a clients home, I will play with the dog(s) by either running our back with them or throwing a ball and in the house by playing with toys and giving all of my attention!
