“Mrs Nan and her family were the perfect choice for my pup's first pet sitter. My rogue can be stand offish with new people since she was adopted right before COVID-19 start. Mrs. Nan was patient with her, loved on my girl as much as rogue allowed, encouraged her to eat when she was depressed, and checked on her through out the day when Rogue decided to hide in her crate instead of playing with Nate. I received multiple pictures and updates, and Mrs Nan was quick to answer questions on how things were going. I highly recommend using Mrs Nan, I plan to use her again.”

About: We provide residential boarding in both our house and finished barn depending on availability and needs. You can schedule a tour. Drop off and pick up time as early as 7am and 11pm. Playtime in the yard is included. You can pay extra for a daily walk. Charged a flat rate per night. Updates available during stay. All dogs are welcome small, big, young, old, friendly, and we are also capable of caring for aggressive dogs. As a family business, my wife Valerie is home during the day to care for clients and I’m home in the evening and weekends to assist. Client needs are met with compassion and knowledge. Care is discussed in detailed and documented. Updates are sent as requested. Dogs in the house must be able to be crated, otherwise the large indoor/outdoor runs in the barn are a better option.

I am pet first aid and CPR certified through Purdue university, I have 5+ years of dog training and behavior experience, and I also worked as a veterinary technician assistant for 1 year and gained valuable animal husbandry and care skills. About: Since I was a child I have been around dogs and cats. They are always part of the family not just a pet. All pets will be treated like they are my own and I will give them love and attention. I currently have 3 small dogs that I have raised since puppies. I also have experience with walking and sitting large dogs for family. Whether they are puppies/kittens or senior cats/dogs I will take care of them and treat them with love and care. My days are usually split up between myself and my wife taking care of our dogs. We keep them on a schedule with feedings and trying to take them out as much as possible. I am always willing to walk dogs and keep any routine or schedule needed for them. Taking care of dogs is a daily routine for me. I have 3 dachshund that I split time with my wife taking care of them. We love to take them outside and either play with them or go for walks. About: I have been obsessed with dogs as a child. My parents told me I couldn't get one until I proved I was responsible enough to care for one. After a year of staying on top of the chores and responsibilities my parents gave me. I was finally allowed to go get my puppy and have been involved with dogs ever since! I have now done a 6 week in person dog training course. That came with basic dog first aid and nutrition. If you have any questions feel free to ask! The older 2 stay in the laundry room and the hall leading to the kitchen with just a gate keeping them in there. They are fed 2 times a day morning and night. They get brushed a lot because of the shedding and they get snuggles on the couch every night. I love training and learning how to train them to do new things.

This is exactly how to meet an anxious dog! And our Portia responded by walking right up to Deanna and sniffing her. Portia walked with Rick this walkie. But Portia did walk between Deanna and him. I just graduated college and now live here in Fort Wayne full time! I do this full time and am always willing to make time for your pets. I am pretty flexible and can always try to accommodate. In other people’s home, i try to respect their home as much as possible! I always make sure the dog or cat is well taken care of, everything is left as was or better, and the pets safety is my #1 concern.
About: I'm a stay at home momma with two kids and two fur babies. One is an older chihuahua and the other is a tamaskan (similar to a husky) puppy. Both are loving and playful. I've owned dogs my whole life and have watched over them for 20+ years. I understand each dog is different with their own special needs. About: Through my experience in 4-H dog obedience school, I have learned how to effectively teach skills such as sitting, staying, coming, and heeling. I also understand how to use proper vocal tones to help dogs learn more efficiently. I have extensive experience caring for dogs both in their own homes and within my own. If I am visiting your home, I can let your pet out into your yard or take them for walks nearby. Please be assured that whenever we are outside of a secured area, your dog will always be leashed. About: I am very caring and will provide a family like atmosphere. I will make sure the best possible care is given, i have been pet sitting since i was 10 years old for family and friends. I have 1 cats currently. I am a mother to a 7 year old boy, a 2 year old boy and have my cousins 7 year old daughter. I have experience with animals with social and separation anxiety . I have dealt with special needs animals as well. I am a huge animal lover and will always make sure that every animal is treated as kindly as possible. I will always make sure you will not being walking in on a mess or a hyper active dog who just wants to play when you would much rather rest after a long day. I'm currently a stay at home mom so I'm usually home! I have open availability for any pet needs even if it's just a drop in potty break during the day! I have a decent yard and live in a neighborhood where I can take on daily walks to ensure excersise. About: I have plenty of hands-on cat and dog care experience. Last year, I lived with a sweet cat and a high-energy golden retriever, and often cared for them while my roommate was away for clinicals. I handled their daily care, playtime, and attention, so I know how to keep pets happy, healthy, and well-loved. I’m in my final year of pharmacy school and currently have a break before my next clinical rotation. That means I’m free all day during the week and most weekends until October, giving me plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pet and keep them happy, active, and loved. I don’t currently have a home with a yard suitable for a pet, as I’ll be moving around for school this year. That’s actually why I love helping care for other people’s animals! I focus on giving pets attention, playtime, and companionship, and I’m happy to follow their routines closely, whether it’s feeding or walks. Living with a golden retriever with high separation anxiety taught me a lot about the importance of just being present and sticking to the routine established by the owner.

About: We provide residential boarding in both our house and finished barn depending on availability and needs. You can schedule a tour. Drop off and pick up time as early as 7am and 11pm. Playtime in the yard is included. You can pay extra for a daily walk. Charged a flat rate per night. Updates available during stay. All dogs are welcome small, big, young, old, friendly, and we are also capable of caring for aggressive dogs. As a family business, my wife Valerie is home during the day to care for clients and I’m home in the evening and weekends to assist. Client needs are met with compassion and knowledge. Care is discussed in detailed and documented. Updates are sent as requested. Dogs in the house must be able to be crated, otherwise the large indoor/outdoor runs in the barn are a better option.

“Our 11month old puppy had a great time staying an entire week with Emily. We couldn't have been more pleased with Emily's love for animals and expertise of caring for our dog so we could enjoy our trip out town with no concerns about our dog having a great time while we traveled. Our puppy had never been boarded overnight before, is our only pet. Emily coordinated a fantastic meet-n-greet to assure a great boarding experience. Our dog got a long great, while enjoying playing with Emily's family, personal dogs, cat, and bird, and outside in their fenced back yard. Because it was rainy, our dog got pretty muddy (which I'm sure he loved), Emily gave him a good bath and all cleaned up to give us warm greetings when we picked him up. Emily is very responsive and her communication is great! Emily gave us daily updates along with pictures of our dog, which was very much appreciated. We'll definitely look forward to booking with Emily for future boarding needs.”
