About: What sets me apart is that I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my whole life—dogs, cats, fish, and even the occasional bunny. If there is a dog in the house he does not pay them any mind really, but I have multiple rooms to keep them separated & I can use a crate/cage as need be. How can you decide who to invite into your mother’s senior living residence to care for her cat for two weeks based on a brief description???? Prayed abt it for awhile and reached out to Clint and Leah. Texted them, believe we spoke on the phone before their initial “meet and greet visit.” (No charge btw). They are a delightful couple, involved in ministry to people and critters! They took on the challenge of caring for our somewhat grumpy cat Mittens. Besides their daily visits to feed and water our cat, the brought in the mail & newspaper, watered the plants, took them out for a sunbath on a warm day, then brought them in from the cold another, played with Mittens, brought my attention to some health concerns, emptied her litter box, swept floor, even brought Mittens her favorite treats, needed hair ball medicine, and a new toy! They visited daily, sending pics and notes abt their visits. When the contracted time was up, the made an extra visit (also non-paid) to return the keys. The peace of mind they gave me was a blessing! If anyone needs a pet sitter for their pet, please don’t be afraid to call on Clint and Leah. They are awesome caretakers. Took a risk on the unknown and Mittens won!”

About: I have experience in caring for senior and disabled dogs, especially blind ones. I have also reared and house trained two puppies to adulthood and are still with my family to this day. They can walk unleashed (never with your babies tho!) and even know protective commands. I am currently homebound so your doggy will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby and would enjoy a companion to walk with in my neighborhood and in nearby parks. I always have leashes and body vest on the door at the ready for any potty breaks and walks, no fence no problem. Stairs and basements will be blocked off all times to ensure safety and rooms will always remain closed. For house guests, we have an end table crate to ensure visibility when I am just resting. There is a regular metal crate and a spare room dedicated to any overwhelmed doggy.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I could remember, I personally have a dog named Baxter that I have taken care of sense I was 14 years old. I have taken care of a newfoundland poodle mix named Arlo for the past two years as well. I am currently training in my off season as a professional hockey player.
