She always goes above and beyond, not just feeding and playing with our furbabies, but also making sure they get adequate stimulation on our back porch looking at the birds in our backyard. She also cleans not just the cats bowls, each meal, but also their automatic feeders, which get quite dirty over time, making sure they were spotless before she left. She also waters our plants, brings in packages left on our front porch, and takes out the trash, all without our having to ask. She even left cat treats attached to a thank you note on our kitchen counter,on her last day. She is conscientiousness itself and a pleasure to work with. How can you decide who to invite into your mother’s senior living residence to care for her cat for two weeks based on a brief description???? Prayed abt it for awhile and reached out to Clint and Leah. Texted them, believe we spoke on the phone before their initial “meet and greet visit.” (No charge btw). They are a delightful couple, involved in ministry to people and critters! They took on the challenge of caring for our somewhat grumpy cat Mittens. Besides their daily visits to feed and water our cat, the brought in the mail & newspaper, watered the plants, took them out for a sunbath on a warm day, then brought them in from the cold another, played with Mittens, brought my attention to some health concerns, emptied her litter box, swept floor, even brought Mittens her favorite treats, needed hair ball medicine, and a new toy! They visited daily, sending pics and notes abt their visits. When the contracted time was up, the made an extra visit (also non-paid) to return the keys. The peace of mind they gave me was a blessing! If anyone needs a pet sitter for their pet, please don’t be afraid to call on Clint and Leah. They are awesome caretakers. Took a risk on the unknown and Mittens won!”

About: I have experience in caring for senior and disabled dogs, especially blind ones. I have also reared and house trained two puppies to adulthood and are still with my family to this day. They can walk unleashed (I would never do this with a dog that is not mine!) and even know protective commands. I am currently homebound so you furbaby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby and would enjoy a companion to walk with. I always have leashes and body vest on the door at the ready for any potty breaks and walks, no fence no problem. Stairs and basements will be blocked off all times to ensure safety and rooms will always remain closed. For house guests, we have an end table crate to ensure visibility when I am just resting. I am patient, gentle and affectionate with animals and want them to have a great experience whenever I am with them. I love feeding animals and giving them treats, but I am respectful of the client's wishes and will strictly follow all feeding instructions. I am physically in shape and able to walk/jog with your dog and go on long walks (I also live near the Pufferbelly trail). I will play tug, fetch or whatever game your dog enjoys. I am willing to take your dog on car rides and to the Huntertown dog park upon client request. I have a golden retriever that loves to play and go for walks, so if you want some socialization for your dog, I can also bring him along. My dog will only come by request of the client. I do have 2 cats in my home, so I can only board dogs who are cat (and dog) friendly. Otherwise, I am more than happy to come to your home and care for your dog(s).

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and taken care of dogs since I was about 10. Dogs are my life. They run my household and my only one rule with them is to love on them. I work from home so your pet will never be alone for a long period of time. I spent the last few years taking care of my senior dog who was almost 15 when she crossed the bridge. I still take care of another senior dog for my family. I work from home so your pet will always have someone. I will work around your schedule for feeding and medicine. I do ask that you bring their beds and toys so that they feel more comfortable. Fenced in yard with no children/ pets. I do not crate the dogs unless it is for their safety and comfort. I am still grieving my soul dog so this is my way of being around dogs and loving on them while my heart heals.

About: We provide residential boarding in both our house and finished barn depending on availability and needs. You can schedule a tour. Drop off and pick up time as early as 7am and 11pm. Playtime in the yard is included. You can pay extra for a daily walk. Charged a flat rate per night. Updates available during stay. All dogs are welcome small, big, young, old, friendly, and we are also capable of caring for aggressive dogs. As a family business, my wife Valerie is home during the day to care for clients and I’m home in the evening and weekends to assist. Client needs are met with compassion and knowledge. Care is discussed in detailed and documented. Updates are sent as requested. Dogs in the house must be able to be crated, otherwise the large indoor/outdoor runs in the barn are a better option.
