We were leaving on a 12 day trip and needed someone for our 2 cats, one has diabetes and needs his insulin shots twice a day and he is very timid. A friend recommended Rover and that’s there we found Stefanie. She has been a godsend for our boys. She game to meet them and both weren’t having it, but she reassured us they would be ok. We shut all the doors upstairs & downstairs so they had less places to hide, but Grady hid anyway. I believe she couldn’t find him for the first 2 days and we ended up having our son come over and he finally found him and gave him his insulin. We felt just awful leaving her to deal them, but she persevered and finally earned their trust and it was the best experience /outcome we could have ever wished for. About: My husband and I are lifelong dog lovers with over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for our own beloved Labs. We had the joy of raising a chocolate Lab for 16 years and a silver Lab for 12 years — they were family in every sense of the word. “Janet saved the day! My husband and I were staying at a Home2 Suites locally for a couple nights with Stella and Jäger as we are moving from Ohio. The dogs struggled in the hotel and we were told that they could not stay alone as they cried and whined while we were away. About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. I have always had dogs. I became a cat mom a few years ago when we inherited our Grandcat. He is special needs and we love him so much. I have experience with diabetic cats and know how to administer an injection of insulin. I have learned and know a lot about cats now since having my first cat. I have retired from my full -time job after 36 years this last summer. I take care of my own special needs cat on a daily basis. He is a diabetic senior cat and needs two injections a day. About: I have had many dogs since I was a kid. As an adult, I have had 5 dogs over the years. They have always been adopted from a shelter or rescue group, plus one dog from an elderly friend. I have adopted 2 puppies and the others were several years old when they were adopted. I love their companionship. I walk our current dog as many days/week as possible. She is my travel buddy! I have crate-trained the puppies and provided as much love and care as possible for our senior dogs, including providing medication. My animals are my children and are very spoiled! I'm currently unemployed so available pretty much any time to care for animals. Once I find a full-time job, my schedule may change a bit but if my job is remote then I would have a lot of flexibility to care for the animals. I have a fairly large fenced yard for running and playing. Trees for observing the squirrels! There are 2 outside cats that do not really mind other dogs. My dog has done very well with other dogs as long as they are not aggressive or too big. I also live in a nice neighborhood where dogs can be walked, including a nice, wooded area with a great trail for walking. I also live close to Eagle Creek park where dogs could be walked.

About: I’ve taken care of various animals since I was a child. I love big cats and big dogs, but any fur babies will do! One of my cats was diabetic, so we had to give him insulin injections twice a day for years. My Rottweiler that passed away last year had bad hips and so we had to give him pills 3-4 times a day. I’ve also done pet care for friends and family over the years. Taking in their dogs for a few days while they travel, or taking care of their cats while they are in the hospital. I’m a teacher looking for a part time gig to help pay my bills. So while school is in session, my availability will primarily be on the weekends, however, I might be able to squeeze a few weeknights in too! I am only interested in doing walking services and drop ins. I would come by and take your pet on a walk, so they could get fresh air, go potty, and sniff all of the things. Or for a drop in I could do that and check in their food and water, give them snuggles and scratches, and play with them a bit.
