We were leaving on a 12 day trip and needed someone for our 2 cats, one has diabetes and needs his insulin shots twice a day and he is very timid. A friend recommended Rover and that’s there we found Stefanie. She has been a godsend for our boys. She game to meet them and both weren’t having it, but she reassured us they would be ok. We shut all the doors upstairs & downstairs so they had less places to hide, but Grady hid anyway. I believe she couldn’t find him for the first 2 days and we ended up having our son come over and he finally found him and gave him his insulin. She tried looking everywhere and was so attentive and let us know everything. We felt just awful leaving her to deal them, but she persevered and finally earned their trust and it was the best experience /outcome we could have ever wished for. Currently, I have a tuxedo kitty named, Mr. Sir. His is my laid back, street rat, expert hunter that does not like to be indoors. I have currently have a flock of 14 chickens. This is my second flock of chickens owned since 2019. I am a previous dog owner. My animals were not only my pets, but they were my family. I had my Labrador for 13 years and my Boxer mix for 15 years. We used to love to take long strolls around the neighborhood and visit our pals at the local dog park. We would cook dinner and lounge around watching our favorite flicks. We even took car rides around town when we got bored. Over the years, we went through everything from crazy puppy phases, to professional command/leash training, and experienced all medical scares (labs love to chew on EVERYTHING) under the sun. I can assist with any type of need ranging from long walks, simple belly rubs, to training help. Maple, my lab, was a diabetic for 7 years, requiring insulin injections. I am highly experienced in administering topical, oral and injectable medications, as well as eye and ear medications. The care needed for my senior dogs helped build my knowledge on many types of medications and daily care pills. Whatever the need may be, just ask me! About: I have had many dogs since I was a kid. As an adult, I have had 5 dogs over the years. They have always been adopted from a shelter or rescue group, plus one dog from an elderly friend. I have adopted 2 puppies and the others were several years old when they were adopted. I love their companionship. I walk our current dog as many days/week as possible. She is my travel buddy! I have crate-trained the puppies and provided as much love and care as possible for our senior dogs, including providing medication. My animals are my children and are very spoiled! I'm currently unemployed so available pretty much any time to care for animals. Once I find a full-time job, my schedule may change a bit but if my job is remote then I would have a lot of flexibility to care for the animals. I have a fairly large fenced yard for running and playing. Trees for observing the squirrels! There are 2 outside cats that do not really mind other dogs. My dog has done very well with other dogs as long as they are not aggressive or too big. I also live in a nice neighborhood where dogs can be walked, including a nice, wooded area with a great trail for walking. I also live close to Eagle Creek park where dogs could be walked.

In clients’ homes, I respect your space, follow all care instructions closely, and maintain a calm, clean environment for your pets. I’m attentive during walks, mindful of safety around other animals and surroundings, and always make sure pets have fresh water, proper care, and plenty of love and attention. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in good hands.
About: I have been raising my own puppy, Vader (black lab), since April 2025 which has taught me both how to handle an energetic dog and what their body language means. I also grew up with two labs at home my entire childhood. I am an EMT and current medical student at MU-WCOM in Indianapolis, so I can assure you that I am fully equipped to follow any strict medical or dietary restrictions your dog may have or handle possible high-stress situations. I am training for an Ironman triathlon as well, so if your dog likes to go on runs (or look like they need to start😉), look no further as I’d love to have a buddy join me. I am generally unavailable on Mondays and Tuesdays, as I have my OMM and clinical anatomy labs on those days. I have lecture Monday-Friday from 8 AM-noon, but after that I would be happy to stop by for your pet! Weekends are completely open for me, however there may be weekends I need to study a lot more than others, so as long as we work out a relative plan in advance there shouldn’t be a problem. I would be glad to let your dog(s) out to use the restroom, play, go for walks/runs, and anything else they may need while you’re away for an extended period of time. Just let me know what their usual schedule is and how you’ve trained them so I know what to expect.

About: I’ve been watching dogs since I was about 8, I’ve been responsible for bathing, giving medicine and making sure they are well loved while owners are away. I specifically love the ability to care for the furry ones you love when you cannot devote the time needed or wanted for them! I am currently in nursing school so my schedule can be wonky some weeks, but my usual availability is 1-6 most weekdays and usually between 8AM and 9:00 PM on weekends! I have a Malshi (Maltese shihtzu mix) he plays mostly In our backyard as well as with my neighbors German Shepard, we live on a 1 acre plot.
About: I have had a Newfoundland for the last 8 years, he is back at home with my parents. I also just recently got a golden retriever/australian shepherd mix who is now 6 months old! I have always loved animals, especially dogs and I would love to get the opportunity to work with you and your dogs. It would also provide excellent socialization skills with my dog now. I don't have a lot of experience with small dogs, but I am more than willing to walk them and play with them. Since my dog is a large breed, I am more comfortable having medium and large+ breeds around him. He is very gentle and loves to play. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

I have a large yard, and a seperate room for pets if needed. Our yard is not fenced, but we have a supervised tie out, or leash walks! I have a very friendly dog who loves to play, or can be kept seperate if needed. I also have a very friendly cat! We live on an awesome walking trail, and I go running every day with my dog.
