As a former medical assistant, I am very comfortable caring for animals with moderate medical needs, those with disabilities, those requiring medication administration, etc. I have cared for hospice dogs, dietary restrictions, Mega-esophagus, Colitis, deafness and total blindness. You could say that special needs are my specialty. I have over 20 years of experience helping folks take care of their fur babies, from Pugs to Cane Corsos and lots in between. About: I grew up with several small dogs and I currently have three, so I have experience with taking care of their needs and giving attention to multiple dogs at once! I’m available for boarding and dog sitting on weekends and weekdays. I’m home most days so my schedule is fairly open. When I'm available, I rarely leave the house for more than an hour at a time. About: I own a King Charles Cavalier and a German Shepherd currently! I grew up on a farm in southern Indiana with multiple foster and adopted animals! My mother instilled a serious love and adoration for people and their favorite pets. I volunteered at our local animal shelter, was trained in multiple animal science courses, and was taught to love and respect the animals I work with, both domesticated and exotic. I have handled dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, foxes, raccoons, bobcats, farm livestock, petting zoo animals, and more. When we return home, we have some free time with toys and puzzles, enjoy another good meal, take another long, walk around the neighborhood, and then cuddle on the couch or in the beds until bedtime. I don’t have a fence in yard however, we have multiple leashes here as well as one that you would prefer to use. I am retired, and I have plenty of time to take care of the animals. I love playing with them and taking them on nice walks. I have a decent sized yard. It’s not fenced in so I do walk the animals on a leash and we have some woods with paths near my house. If the dogs over 50 pounds I prefer them to be crate trained.

We do have 11 chickens who stay in their coop (we do let them free range from time to time, but they will be kept in their coop while you pup stays with us).
