“I was so nervous to find a caregiver for our Zoey. The reason is Zoey is a 3 year old epileptic boxer. Even though her seizures are controlled I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to find someone to keep her overnight and be responsible for her medication. Then I found Jennifer on Rover. I set up a meet and greet and I just knew Jennifer was ready for the challenge. We set up an overnight stay while my husband and I had to be out of town. Jennifer sent so many pictures and updates. About: I have experience caring for dogs at all stages of life, from puppies to senior and those with special needs. I previously had a small blind incontinent senior terrier who has since gone over the rainbow bridge, so I understand the extra patience and attention required to make them feel comfortable. I have also raised and house-trained two puppies into adulthood, who are still with my family today! One of them is a unique mix of Belgian Malinois, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, Alaskan Malamute, and Rottweiler (Try saying that five times fast!). We had his DNA tested, so we can now confidently confirm his impressive mutt status. His high energy and intelligence required consistent training and socialization. After raising him, it's safe to say that I'm comfortable with puppy routines, basic obedience training, and how to handle a wide range of temperaments and needs. What sets me apart is that I take the time to understand each dog's routine, personality and comfort level so they receive the best care that fits their individual needs. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an active adult, or a gentle senior, I will provide the best and reliable care while you are away. I am currently homebound so your fur baby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby so having a temporary walking companion would be great therapy! In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.

During summers we are available at all waking hours of any days we’re not on a family vacation. About: Dogs have had a tremendous impact on my life; I’ve trained & owned dogs for the last 20 years. Currently I own a Yorkie mix named Mayhem who loves motorcycle rides & fetch! Over the years I’ve helped strangers & friends with training & general care of their fuzzy babes. Pitbulls, labs, poodles, dobermans, tiny terrors & more. I try to add structured fun & exercise to any dog I encounter, paying attention to the dog’s personality & confidence level. A tired pooch is a happy pooch. I currently work nights, so I am flexible during the weekdays before 4pm to help let your dog have fresh air while you’re at work! And for nightshifters, on evenings I’m off, I can let your dog out late in the evening because I naturally stay awake until approximately midnight to 2am. My true availability (I’m unable to modify the calendar to reflect this) is Monday & Tues available all day/night starting at 11am & onward, Wednesday & Thursday between 9am to 4pm, Fridays before 2:30pm, and Saturday & Sundays I’m generally unavailable but open to requests on a weekly basis (especially if we have an established relationship). I am flexible & will do what you think is best for your dog. I am used to staying calm under pressure & providing a reassuring presence for your dog. I’m especially good for dogs which need a physical outlet seeing as I lead an active lifestyle with lots of running, walking, bike riding, hiking, etc.

About: Both my wife and I have had pets since we were little. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and love spending time with them all. I work from home Monday-Friday, and my wife works from home only 3 days a week, allowing a lot of flexibility for potty breaks and play time. We are also home most of the time on weekends. We have a comfortable, fenced in backyard and a cage for inside if needed. We have 2 friendly dogs that have been around plenty of other dogs with no issues, and always love the extra company. Our 2 cats also get along well with dogs, and have always been around them.

I am physically in shape and able to walk/jog with your dog and go on long walks (I also live near the Pufferbelly trail). I will play tug, fetch or whatever game your dog enjoys. I am willing to take your dog on car rides and to the Huntertown dog park upon client request. I have a golden retriever that loves to play and go for walks, so if you want some socialization for your dog, I can also bring him along. My dog will only come by request of the client. “Alex and Jayce were wonderful with our dog. So welcoming and very responsive. Our dog had a great time playing with their dogs. They sent great pictures and we could tell our dog was comfortable at their house. Would recommend to friends and family and will use them again!”

“Pen had the most wonderful two and a half weeks with Rebecca. He loves her so much I plan to set up some daycare visits just so he can spend time with his best pal. They went in walks and snuggled on the couch, she gave him lots of love and attention, he was always happy and well cared for. She sent updates and pictures every day so I could feel confident he was relaxed and happy. He even made friends with the people in her neighborhood! He’s a social butterfly and she knew I was okay with him saying hello. This was my first time leaving him for a long vacation and I was really nervous about how successful he would be, but he had the most wonderful time with Rebecca and I was able to relax and enjoy myself knowing how happy my guy was.”

“I was so nervous to find a caregiver for our Zoey. The reason is Zoey is a 3 year old epileptic boxer. Even though her seizures are controlled I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to find someone to keep her overnight and be responsible for her medication. Then I found Jennifer on Rover. I set up a meet and greet and I just knew Jennifer was ready for the challenge. We set up an overnight stay while my husband and I had to be out of town. Jennifer sent so many pictures and updates. It was wonderful!! Zoey was in great hands and received amazing care. We are so thankful for her love of animals and for the more “needy” animals. Jennifer was a rockstar!!”
