I’m able to easily form great relationships with any dog I have met (so far), and absolutely adore being around them and caring for them. Thanks to my experience as a dog owner, I know all there is to know of the basics of caring for dogs of all ages. My current job has me working 2-6 Monday through Friday, and 1:15-6 on Wednesdays. Since I don’t work long hours, that leaves me pretty open when it comes to pet care! Since I don’t offer boarding in my own home, I will travel to yours to care for your pet. When housesitting, I tend to hang out in the area where your pet is in the most to keep an eye on them if they need anything, and to keep them company while I’m around (if I can, I also like being on the floor so if they want to come and say hi or get some pets I’m right within their reach)! “I don't know if I'll be able to adequately convey how wonderful Travis was as a drop-in cat sitter during my recent trip to Mexico. He communicated with me daily and comprehensively about everything going on with my geriatric cat, Quito. Because he's older, Quito has some potty issues, but Travis dealt with those like the professional he is. He kept the cat box clean, provided fresh water, and fed and medicated my cat as per my instructions. Travis went above and beyond by bringing in my mail and packages, communicating unplanned repairs going on with my property, and even turned my faucets to drip during an unexpected freeze. He also sent multiple pictures of Quito, brushed him, and even gave him regular belly rubs. I was so thankful to have Travis taking care of my beloved pet. I was completely at peace during my vacation and even shared Travis' feedback and pictures with my travel companion. This is the first time I've used Rover, but definitely not the last. “Wow, Nichole and family were exactly the right recipe for my large sheepdog...he needs a lot of interaction with other dogs because he is super social...yet at the same time, needs down time and affection. I was traveling in EU for work and this was the first time my boy had not been with family while I was away, but I felt more and more confident as the week progressed as I saw the daily pics and nice notes from Nichole regarding his adjustment. From the pics I could tell he was getting lots of exercise and seemed happy. When I picked him up we had a nice chat. It absolutely puts us at ease that our pup got to have such loving individual attention from a family! I’ve never boarded him at a business-but I’m pretty confident that the level of personal care he got in a loving home far supersedes that of a business. I would hands down book with Joe again!”
