About: I’m a married 51 year old mom with two daughters aged 17 and 14. I have over 25 years of experience working in a school setting, and am now working part time. I have a 10 year old service dog who lives with us, and works with students at my school. I treat dogs as well as my own children, as I understand how much they are a part of your family. I’m responsible and will be as connected to you as you want- sending updates and pictures to ensure you feel confident that your pet is safe and happy. My husband works from home, and I’m currently working part time. We are up by 6 every morning. I’m primarily trying this on the weekends to start, however depending on your situation, the weekdays could work as well. I have a 10year old golden/lab cross. He is a neutered male and was trained by an organization as a service dog. He comes to work with me to work with students. We often watch other service dogs through this same organization, so I do have experience caring for other pets. We have a kennel in our home that we can use, if needed. While our dog loves other dogs, it would be important that your pet is not aggressive. I have zero concerns that our dog would ever be aggressive. We do not feed our dog anything other than two meals per day, as he is on a strict diet. Water is always out. We would follow all food directions you provide for your pet. Our pet is treated like a human, so no furniture is off limits and pet hair is just part of our lives.

About: I have a very consistent schedule, i love animals and have a great support system. Your pet couldn’t be in better hands. I have an 8 year old son and 6 year old son who love to help me and LOVE to see their baby (our dog rocky) make new friends. My downstairs is open to any dog staying in my home and full access to my large privacy fenced in backyard. I am also very close to the b&o walking trail that animals love to go to. My dog rocky loves to share his toys and will play tug of war with dogs of any size. I work full time, i am gone early morning 7-8am and back around 6pm. My wife is at home and they’ll never be alone. I have a pretty big house, upstairs and downstair, dog gates and a large doggy door(my 100lb dog fits through it) to my big privacy fenced in backyard. I have a small pool for my dog on hot days and a screened in porch for them to be in the shade if they want to be outside but not in the sun.

About: I have taken care of dogs for atleast 10 years if not more. Animals love me and always beyond excited when they see me. I do have 2 dogs of my own and have grown up with dogs and cats. Mostly labs but had a range of mutts as well . I’m comfortable with large and small dogs During the week can get busy during work hours. But I will always to tend to your furry friend. As for the weekends, I am way more available. When working in another persons home I keep to my own things and buy my own groceries if staying for a few days. I focus on keeping their schedule and routine as consistent as possible, including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications, and any special care instructions. I always take time to understand each pet’s personality, comfort level, and habits so I can care for them in a way that feels safe and familiar. Whether a pet needs playtime, patience, cuddles, or gentle companionship, I provide plenty of TLC and attention during each visit. About: I grew up with a dog in my home, so caring for pets has always felt natural to me. Today, my wife and I have two boys and a two-year-old mini Australian Labradoodle, so dogs are already a regular part of our family life. As a family, we’ve also helped care for dogs through the Humane Society, which has given us experience with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. We understand that every dog is unique, and we’ll take the time to learn your pet’s routine, preferences, and comfort level so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Our goal is to provide reliable, loving, family-style care with plenty of attention, fun, and updates for you along the way Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because I work from home and am home most evenings. That gives me flexibility throughout the day for potty breaks, feeding, playtime, walks, and check-ins. My wife and I also have a dog of our own, so caring for pets is already part of our normal family rhythm. We’re used to building our day around walks, meals, attention, and making sure dogs feel comfortable and cared for. In our home, we focus on providing a safe, comfortable, family-style environment where pets can feel cared for and relaxed. We’ll follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, crate or sleep preferences, and any special instructions from the owner. Since I work from home, I’m available throughout the day for attention, supervision, potty breaks, and check-ins. We also have a two-year-old mini Australian Labradoodle, so we understand the importance of routine, patience, exercise, and helping dogs feel secure in a home setting. For drop-ins or care in a client’s home, we’ll be respectful of the home and make sure pets have food, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, affection, and any needed care based on the owner’s instructions. We’ll also send updates and photos so owners know how their pet is doing while they’re away. Before accepting a booking, we like to learn about each pet’s personality, schedule, comfort level, and any important safety details so we can make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.

“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband.
