About: I’m currently in my "borrow all the dogs" era. With three busy kids and nonstop activities, owning a dog isn't in the cards right now, but loving on yours absolutely is! I've been around dogs my entire life and have always been a dog lover. Growing up, my family had three dogs, a cat and a pig, which gave me years of experience caring for and interacting with pets of different personalities and needs. As an adult, I rescued two dogs from a local animal shelter. They were my first babies. My oldest dog passed away 3 years ago. About: I’m a married 51 year old mom with two daughters aged 17 and 14. I have over 25 years of experience working in a school setting, and am now working part time. I have a 10 year old service dog who lives with us, and works with students at my school. I treat dogs as well as my own children, as I understand how much they are a part of your family. I’m responsible and will be as connected to you as you want- sending updates and pictures to ensure you feel confident that your pet is safe and happy. My husband works from home, and I’m currently working part time. We are up by 6 every morning. I’m primarily trying this on the weekends to start, however depending on your situation, the weekdays could work as well. I have a 10year old golden/lab cross. He is a neutered male and was trained by an organization as a service dog. He comes to work with me to work with students. We often watch other service dogs through this same organization, so I do have experience caring for other pets. We have a kennel in our home that we can use, if needed. While our dog loves other dogs, it would be important that your pet is not aggressive. I have zero concerns that our dog would ever be aggressive. We do not feed our dog anything other than two meals per day, as he is on a strict diet. Water is always out. We would follow all food directions you provide for your pet. Our pet is treated like a human, so no furniture is off limits and pet hair is just part of our lives.

About: I have taken care of dogs for atleast 10 years if not more. Animals love me and always beyond excited when they see me. I do have 2 dogs of my own and have grown up with dogs and cats. “Josh and Kate were great and really helped alleviate my anxiety in leaving him in someone else’s home. They were welcoming and knowledgeable about the best way to introduce him to the other let they were caring for. They sent updates which thrilled all of us, especially the kids, to see that he was being so well taken care of and loved while we were away. Milo seemed very comfortable and quickly made himself at home in theirs. It was a great experience and their care was very much appreciated. Can’t recommend them enough and rather than stress about who will keep our anxious pup while we are away I will be looking up Josh and Kate immediately.
