“Wow! We can’t say enough good things about Mark and his puppy palace!! This is the first time I’ve left my dogs and didn’t worry about them missing me. I’ve been recommending him to all my neighbors. Between his big shaded fenced in yard, pool/porch, and other friendly dogs for playtime-my dogs were in dog heaven. “Tracy was fantastic. Our dog got sick with bladder stones and she was willing to take him to the vet and administer meds for him. She was responsive, kind, and took a ton of photos while we were gone. Would highly recommend.”

About: I grew up with a dog in my home, so caring for pets has always felt natural to me. Today, my wife and I have two boys and a two-year-old mini Australian Labradoodle, so dogs are already a regular part of our family life. As a family, we’ve also helped care for dogs through the Humane Society, which has given us experience with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. We understand that every dog is unique, and we’ll take the time to learn your pet’s routine, preferences, and comfort level so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Our goal is to provide reliable, loving, family-style care with plenty of attention, fun, and updates for you along the way Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because I work from home and am home most evenings. That gives me flexibility throughout the day for potty breaks, feeding, playtime, walks, and check-ins. My wife and I also have a dog of our own, so caring for pets is already part of our normal family rhythm. We’re used to building our day around walks, meals, attention, and making sure dogs feel comfortable and cared for. In our home, we focus on providing a safe, comfortable, family-style environment where pets can feel cared for and relaxed. We’ll follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, crate or sleep preferences, and any special instructions from the owner. Since I work from home, I’m available throughout the day for attention, supervision, potty breaks, and check-ins. We also have a two-year-old mini Australian Labradoodle, so we understand the importance of routine, patience, exercise, and helping dogs feel secure in a home setting. For drop-ins or care in a client’s home, we’ll be respectful of the home and make sure pets have food, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, affection, and any needed care based on the owner’s instructions. We’ll also send updates and photos so owners know how their pet is doing while they’re away. Before accepting a booking, we like to learn about each pet’s personality, schedule, comfort level, and any important safety details so we can make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.

About: I’m a married 51 year old mom with two daughters aged 17 and 14. I have over 25 years of experience working in a school setting, and am now working part time. I have a 10 year old service dog who lives with us, and works with students at my school. I treat dogs as well as my own children, as I understand how much they are a part of your family. I’m responsible and will be as connected to you as you want- sending updates and pictures to ensure you feel confident that your pet is safe and happy. My husband works from home, and I’m currently working part time. We are up by 6 every morning. I’m primarily trying this on the weekends to start, however depending on your situation, the weekdays could work as well. I have a 10year old golden/lab cross. He is a neutered male and was trained by an organization as a service dog. He comes to work with me to work with students. We often watch other service dogs through this same organization, so I do have experience caring for other pets. We have a kennel in our home that we can use, if needed. While our dog loves other dogs, it would be important that your pet is not aggressive. I have zero concerns that our dog would ever be aggressive. We do not feed our dog anything other than two meals per day, as he is on a strict diet. Water is always out. We would follow all food directions you provide for your pet. Our pet is treated like a human, so no furniture is off limits and pet hair is just part of our lives.
About: I have 4 years of pet sitting experience and genuinely love caring for animals. Whether it’s a walk, drop in visit, or occasional overnight stay, I provide dependable care, plenty of attention, and regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m currently in graduate school online, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop in visit, or an overnight companion, I’m happy to work with your schedule. I strive to provide dependable, loving care and regular updates so you can feel confident while you’re away. I prefer to watch the animals in the clients home. I feel it makes them more comfortable when they’re in an environment that they know! I will follow any instructions given and will be just a phone call or text away if you want to check on your pups!
“We had Ben drop in on our elderly cat while we were away, and she was well taken care of. She is a bit temperamental, and he adjusted her food accordingly to help with her stomach problems. I'm happy that we had him come over so we had some peace of mind.”

“Katie was so great with my shy cat, Zoe. She took the time to let my cat get comfortable with her and made sure she was in good spirits while I was away. My cat is a very messy eater and litter box user, but Katie went the extra mile and cleaned everything. I was nervous to leave my cat for a few days, but Katie really put my mind at ease. The check ins I received were thorough and she provided lots of cute photos. I highly recommend booking Katie and I plan on using her again for future trips.”

“Lori did a wonderful job with Cocoa! Cocoa is usually quite reserved, but I could tell from the daily photos that she warmed up to Lori quickly and loved their playtime together. It put me at such ease knowing she was in great hands every day. Highly recommend!”

“It was a pleasure working with Debbi. She took care of my three cats for a week. Provided photos of their playing activities and also provided daily status updates of how they’re doing. I appreciate the level of detail she took into learning each and every one of them. I’m sure my cats will miss her but I will continue using her service when needed. She is excellent!”

“Kristen and Kenneth were phenomenal! We could not have asked for a better sitter for our dog Ace. They were so welcoming, made sure everyone was a good fit, let us see where the dogs would be and helped us and our boy get acclimated to the environment! They sent updates throughout his stay and sent lots of pictures! I never once worried about Ace (and we often do as he is a very anxious dog)! Not only this, but they helped us pull off an engagement and made accommodations so that the proposal could go perfectly without us having to worry about Ace (: we will 10000% be using them again!”

“Daisy, my 4-year-old miniature schnauzer, had her first visit to Stan's house for daycare. It was a wonderful time for her. She got along very well with the two other dogs, and she was able to experience for the first time how a "doggy door" works. I'm sure she will get the hang of it with a little more practice. She is already looking forward to her next time at Stan's house. He was very caring and thoughtful as he watched over Daisy for the first time.”

About: I'm a lover of all animals, but DOGS are my absolute favorite! I've taken care of dogs of various sizes and backgrounds since I was little. Neighbors, friends, and family have always relied on me to care for their pets during times they couldn't. My patience and understanding of dogs is what sets me apart from others. I've always had a special place in my heart for rescues and currently own 3 from various challenging backgrounds. I enjoy training them and making them feel loved in a safe space! They are DEFINITELY family members in our home! 😍 After 19 years in the restaurant business, working nights and weekends, I chose to step away and spend the summer with my kiddos (kindergarten and 1st grade) before they began school again. I am now pursuing different avenues that allow a better work/home life balance and flexibility to be close to home as much as possible. I have a fully fenced yard and 3 laid back, friendly dogs that love to play but don't mind being contained separately from your dog if needed! Our home is very flexible and easy going and can accommodate whatever you may need.

I grew up with dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to large breeds, so I understand that every pet has their own personality, comfort level, and routine. I’m great at following instructions, giving thoughtful updates, and helping pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I work part-time overnight, which keeps my mornings and afternoons open for pet care. This gives me plenty of daytime availability for walks, drop-ins, feedings, playtime, and making sure pets get the attention and care they need. Pet care fits well into my routine because I can provide consistent, reliable care during the hours many pets are most active. I currently care for pets in their home so they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I focus on keeping their schedule and routine as consistent as possible, including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications, and any special care instructions. I always take time to understand each pet’s personality, comfort level, and habits so I can care for them in a way that feels safe and familiar.

“Would definitely use her again. Our dog was well taken care of the entire time we were gone. We got pictures and updates while we were gone. The most important thing was we returned to a happy pup. I would definitely recommend using Janet.”
“Rachel & her family are so sweet & will go above & beyond to care for your furbaby. My Bernese Mt Dog puppy was happy with her stay for 7nightd & got plenty of care, attention, play time & walks. We're very grateful to find the perfect petsitter!.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Lori watching my dog! A great dog-friendly environment with a huge fenced yard. Plus Lori alleviated any worry I might’ve had right away. Couldn’t recommend more!”

“Amazing family with a great home and yard. Super accommodating and attentive to our 2 little dogs. They have a chicken coop which kept our dogs very preoccupied. Would 100% recommend to all.”

“Indy loved his week with Diana and Kevin. Lots of walks, playtime and even snuggled in bed! Loved all the picture updates we received and look forward to booking again for our next trip!”

“Victoria took amazing care of our dog, Mackey! She sent me lots of updates and photos which I loved. He came home happy and healthy. He is only 1.5, so very much still a puppy, so I am thankful for her patience with him. We will definitely use her again!”

“Simba enjoyed his stay with Vanta and Shea. He had the best time playing with vanta. We did not have any issues during his stay. Shea was very prompt on replies. Would definitely recommend Shea.”

“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. Thanks again for a great stay!”
