I am a previous dog owner. My animals were not only my pets, but they were my family. I had my Labrador for 13 years and my Boxer mix for 15 years. We used to love to take long strolls around the neighborhood and visit our pals at the local dog park. We would cook dinner and lounge around watching our favorite flicks. We even took car rides around town when we got bored. Over the years, we went through everything from crazy puppy phases, to professional command/leash training, and experienced all medical scares (labs love to chew on EVERYTHING) under the sun. Maple was a diabetic for 7 years. I can assist with any type of need ranging from long walks, simple belly rubs, to training help. My duties at this job include walking, feeding, administering medication, and caring for the overall comfort of the dogs we board. I love dogs and have always enjoyed working with them. I have my own leads but I have experience walking dogs with harnesses and other such devices. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life & now have one of my own. I have also taken care of both dogs & cats for friends & family so have experience there as well. She ensured that Luna followed all of our rules so she did not forget her training, while also showing extra care and attention so she did not get lonely. “Kara was amazing with Asher! He has diabetes and requires insulin injections and after showing her how to do it she seemed very comfortable with it which made me feel very comfortable leaving Asher in her care. She sent twice daily updates with pictures as I requested and I will never have to look for a different sitter again as long as Kara is available to watch Asher, he had a great time! He also seemed comfortable with Baxter, who was very sweet and respected Asher’s boundaries! I would highly recommend Kara for any pet sitting needs!”

His dog, Bruce, was super sweet and got along great with our dog which also provided great activity and engagement during the day.
