About: About us: I stumbled onto Rover in August 2022 after trying to think of ways to make a little extra money while working at home, full-time, and with 3 kids (approaching middle and high school) that have wanted a dog since probably before they were born. I grew up with dogs and wanted a dog too! But I also didn’t want the vet visits, food expenses…what do we do with a dog when we want to travel? Fast forward to now and dog-sitting has been a truly epic, awesome experience for all of us. By the time you read this it’s likely we will have reached triple digits of dogs that have stayed here. My kids get to learn about ALL different kinds of dogs which has turned them into lifelong dog lovers. I get the companionship I’m looking for while having a flexible hybrid work schedule. About: I love animals. I used to have three Shar Peis, which can be fairly temperamental, but I think I was their favorite walker. I've walked dogs with Wag for years and have cared for dogs ranging from tiny pups to large Anatolian Shepherds. I work from home most days, so having a dog or two in the house is not an issue. And, i don't mind sitting at other folks' homes, if the dogs are more comfortable in their own environment. I've recently fenced our backyard with a 6 foot privacy fence, so that visiting dogs will be secure during off-leash play. I live in a quiet neighborhood and there is a large park down the street, so walks can be quite lengthy, if the dog is up for it. I have a few chickens in a coop / run in the backyard. The app asks about my pets but then when I said ‘yes’ only allowed me to pick either ‘dog’ or ‘cat’ - and I couldn’t list birds so I couldn’t update it. 😕. Apparently Rover thinks there are only two kinds of animals??? Visits to the backyard are always supervised to keep everyone safe.

About: I’ve always loved animals and pets and have been taking care of them my entire life. I’ve had a few jobs where I was a doggy day care specialist and have worked as one for 3 years. I have a good sense of how dogs act when anxious nervous or even excited. My job included staying over night with dogs along with walking them and feeding them. I do work at restaurants in the afternoons during the week and weekends till 8. I have three days off a week in which I can daycare dogs and watch over them. Normally Tuesday and Wednesday. About: I trained my Australian Shepard for 8 years and have lots of patience with dogs of all breeds🫶🏽I’ve had dogs my whole life and I’m very experienced. I am free everyday at least 2 hours a day to walk at different hours of the days( mornings, nights and days). I have lots of availability I always make sure to take my pets to the bathroom at least every 2 hours or as needed. Walking my dog is key to keeping the dog in shape and away from illnesses while also having a clean eating and playtime environment.

About: Hi Dog lovers! My name is Abigail and dogs have been a part of my life since I can remember. Growing up I was responsible for walking, feeding and pouring attention into our two German shorthaired pointer dogs. When my neighbors would go on vacation they would ask me to watch their four dogs and I also became the 'go to' person when their dogs would get loose in the neighborhood. Fortunately, that never happened on my watch! My current dog is a high energy Pitbull Lab mix, who thinks he is a lap dog. :) Most of the dogs I have worked with have been in the 50-60 pound range but I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Is your dog older? No problem, I can sit and give them lots of love or take them on a gentle walk. Is your dog high energy? Again, no problem, I have one of those of my own and I can play fetch or tug-a-war with them! I have no problem administering medicine if needed too. During the school year I work in a high school and coach swimming so my availability is from 3:30pm - 6:00pm, and anytime on the weekends. During the summer my schedule is much more flexible during the week and weekends. I consider myself a dog magnet because any time I encounter a dog, even for the first time, they like to jump on me or wiggle their butts, seeking my attention! Providing walks, belly rubs, and playing fetch are my jam. Dogs mean the world to me and I would love the opportunity to shower your fur babies with attention. During the school year, I am available 3:30pm - 6:00pm and weekends. During the summer (June & July) I have flexibility in my schedule every day. I am comfortable taking dogs to the park, walking them or playing with them indoor home/yard. If it is a high energy dog, I can also take them for a run.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was a kid. From our family dog Charlie to 3 German Shepherd’s for a neighbor, your furry friends are in good hands with me! I am currently working part time and have plenty of time in my day to help care for my own cat. Any spare time I do have, I can help care for your pet too! My work schedule stays pretty consistent so scheduling should not be too much of a hassle. I currently live in a one bedroom apartment with quick access to yards and sidewalks for dog walking. I will provide opportunities for walks, playing with your pets, and going outside depending on whatever type of pet I am looking after.

About: Hello! We absolutely love all dogs. We have a beautiful 4 year old Weimaraner who we came into our life as a pup. We also have had two prior to her. We are comfortable with all aged dogs from the feisty puppies to the more quiet seniors. We have lots of experience with young puppies, senior dogs who need medication (oral pills or otherwise), and shy or energetic dogs. Linda even worked as a Vet Tech in high school and was a dog walker in college. We both are retired and love to sit outside with our dog and go for walks. As a visitor to our home, we are open to whatever method you employ for your dog’s safety. We have experience with crate training and are happy to continue those practices if you wish. Otherwise, your dog is free to roam our fenced yard and home. We are both retired, so have lots of time for your pup. Our dog always gets to go out whenever she wants. So will yours. We usually walk our dog in the morning afternoon and evening. If your dog is up to that, we will have her join us. We have a fenced in yard for the dogs to enjoy whenever they want. Our house is very dog friendly. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture. We do not leave any food out and have a dog proof garbage can too.
