About: I have been taking care of animals from a young age of 15. I grew up with a German shepherd which started my love for dogs. I use to volunteer at an animal shelter in Iowa when I was going to college. I would walk every single dog because it would break my heart to see them stuck in such a small space. I also rescued around 20 dogs, 50 cats, and one monkey when I was living overseas. I am very empathetic towards animals especially because they are such innocent beings. I also worked with different rescue groups overseas. I currently have 3 dogs I rescued from Peru South America. Their stories are pretty crazy but now they are living the dog dream. Having 3 dogs myself I know how necessary it is to have help! 1st I would like to come meet the pet first so we can create a trust. Then I would make sure they were comfortable in their home with plenty of food and water. I would just follow all the rules the owner has for me especially if there dog is on a specific diet. If it is okay with the owner also carry training treats with me for walks.

About: I love animals. I used to have three Shar Peis, which can be fairly temperamental, but I think I was their favorite walker. I've walked dogs with Wag for years and have cared for dogs ranging from tiny pups to large Anatolian Shepherds. I work from home most days, so having a dog or two in the house is not an issue. And, i don't mind sitting at other folks' homes, if the dogs are more comfortable in their own environment. I've recently fenced our backyard with a 6 foot privacy fence, so that visiting dogs will be secure during off-leash play. I live in a quiet neighborhood and there is a large park down the street, so walks can be quite lengthy, if the dog is up for it. I have a few chickens in a coop / run in the backyard. The app asks about my pets but then when I said ‘yes’ only allowed me to pick either ‘dog’ or ‘cat’ - and I couldn’t list birds so I couldn’t update it. 😕. Apparently Rover thinks there are only two kinds of animals??? Visits to the backyard are always supervised to keep everyone safe.

About: About us: I stumbled onto Rover in August 2022 after trying to think of ways to make a little extra money while working at home, full-time, and with 3 kids (approaching middle and high school) that have wanted a dog since probably before they were born. About: Since a child, I have been trusted to watch, walk, and care for neighbors and friends dogs. I still care for my friends and families dogs. I grew into loving the difficult dogs, training lots of different sports and dog behavior. I love seniors/special needs who just need some TLC. Puppies are my absolute favorite. About: My family and I love dogs. We also love cats, but unfortunately I’m allergic to them. We’ve raised three dogs over the years and currently have a 4-year-old Golden Retriever named Jax. About: I trained my Australian Shepard for 8 years and have lots of patience with dogs of all breeds🫶🏽I’ve had dogs my whole life and I’m very experienced. I am free everyday at least 2 hours a day to walk at different hours of the days( mornings, nights and days). I have lots of availability I always make sure to take my pets to the bathroom at least every 2 hours or as needed. My first dog was a 100 pound German Shepard mix, then we got a miniature border collie mix, then a hound, and now we have a one year old german shepard belgian malinois. I would be able to take care of your pet before 7:45am and I am available during lunch time. I am also volleyball player and practices are normally from 4-6 so I would be able to go over after that. MWF I have class from 1-5 so I wouldn’t be able to go in that time frame and my volleyball games are normally Tuesday and Thursday nights which I could go over after those. I have a fenced in yard at my house but I also have energetic dogs so I take them on walks every day twice a day. They both love to play fetch and obviously they love to go on their daily walks. My job is online so im able to work with the pets all day every day. Which is also good becuase i love snuggles and playing with animals! About: I’ve always loved animals and pets and have been taking care of them my entire life. I’ve had a few jobs where I was a doggy day care specialist and have worked as one for 3 years. I worked in kennels, boarding facilities, doggie daycares, and training facilities. I care for my own dogs, birds, and rats daily. Animals are my life! About: I've taken care of and had dogs ever since I was 8 years old. I recently relocated to Chicago and lost my dog a little over a year ago at age 12 to natural causes. I'm very active into sports and take many walks daily. Throughout the year I like to foster dogs to help rescues with adoptions. I like to do a morning long walk 20 minutes or more before I go to work. Depending on what is needed for pet care, I have a pretty flexible schedule to do more than one potty break. After work I also like to do another evening walk if time allows and just to settle down for the night. I have a friendly dog community and do not mind walking multiple times to expend energy. The house is also very spacious for relaxation. If you allow furniture sleeping so do I. I'm flexible to what my clients would want from my in home stays. If I come to your house, naturally I would follow guidelines that your pet is typically used to.
