“We have never felt so comfortable boarding any of our dogs as we have with Gloria and Mark. They treat your dog like family, and they give the best one on one attention that I have ever seen. They send pictures, have a wonderful set up for your dog with toys and treats, lounging and sleeping arrangements, and even neighbors who will come by and say hi. I cannot fully express just how amazing the experience is. Thank you so much for your kindness to us and to Summer.”

“Meghan took care of our dog while we are traveling over the holidays. When we had a family emergency come up and couldn't get back, she kindly offered to continue looking after him. We appreciate knowing that our dog is well taken care of in a difficult time. Will definitely book again.”

“Thank you, Aratrika and Arjun, for taking great care of Chewie, being willing to do a meet and greet, and sending so many great updates and pictures! Chewie seems happy after his weekend with you :)”

“Feiran and her family loved our pup throughout his week and a half with them. Feiran is professional but relaxed, sent us at least one video a day of our bat playing with his new friends. We definitely recommend her for boarding services 🧡”

“Caitlin has so much patience and compassion with dogs! Our Lucy has stayed with her twice now. Most recently Lucy had been sick and still wasn’t feeling well when we took her over. Caitlin was able to get Lucy to start eating well again and encouraged her to interact with the other dogs. Caitlin is extremely organized and sends photos and texts regularly. She and her family seemed to enjoy cuddling with Lucy. We’ll definitely use Caitlin the next time we travel.”

“Sarah was a great companion for my furbaby while I was away! She was very communicative throughout the duration of the boarding service, and I felt comfortable and at ease with having my dog in her care.”

“Rae is an experienced and caring sitter, and we are very happy that Ginger could stay with her. And she had a good time. Rae sent us pictures of Ginger with messages on how she was doing. It is a relief that we can leave Ginger in such capable and affectionate hands when we need to. And I am sure Ginger enjoyed the massage that she got from Rae's daughter. Thank you!”

“Hannah is amazing! She’s very flexible and accommodating, and always keeps me updated on Nikko with pictures. She’s trustworthy and caring. My epileptic dog had a seizure while staying with her, but she handled it calmly—administering his intranasal midazolam and giving his scheduled medications on time. I would definitely book with Hannah again!”

“We were very happy to board with Lainey. Communication was great, and we really felt like Summer was well cared for. She got a lot of attention and was able to play with friends, which we couldn’t be happier about. Thank you so much!”

“China was amazing. This was the first time I’ve booked a sitter on rover and she did her best to alleviate all my worries. My pup is super anxious and she did her best to help her eat her food and gave her all the time she needed to potty and do her business. She also gave my pup her meds which isn’t always easy! As long as she is available I will always go to China she’s awesome.”

“Excellent first Rover experience! We were a little apprehensive to leave our girls, especially our older cat Blackberry with medical conditions, with someone through a website, but we were extremely pleased with the quality-of-care (and cute photos!) Michelle provided. Our directions were followed exactly and all three of our girls very happy and healthy when we returned. We would absolutely book with them again!”

“Ann is an amazing cat sitter! She takes the time to get to know your cat and see how they like to play. Tuna had a wonderful time with her during her visits. She communicates frequently and gives you all the needed details. I highly recommend her as a cat sitter”

“Nefeli took excellent care of my kitty Ooma. She also followed instructions to the T with care and was a great communicator. Ooma is very shy and nervous at first with new people and will often hide, but she really took to Nefeli from the beginning and spent time with her during her check ins. That says a lot.”
“I could not have asked for a better sitter!! We were worried to leave our cat as he had been throwing up every time a friend would pop in on him and feed him and he seemed right at home with Melissa and didn't stress puke! Got pictures and text updates and felt so reassured leaving him with her while we were gone!! We can’t recommend her enough!”

“She was a phenomenal cat sitter - went above and beyond to care for my two cats! She also did great caring for an elderly cat who needs medications (pills) twice a day.”

About: I have two friendly cats and backyard chickens. I have had cats and dogs for most of my life. I go trail hiking at local forest preserves and state parks 2-4 times a week and would love to take your dog with me! I only have one dog guest at a time (unless they are from the same home) so I can give them lots of care and attention and provide you with regular updates and photos. You will know your pet is being well looked after. My goal is to make your pet feel like it is on a fun vacation while you are on a fun vacation. Nothing makes me happier than dogs I've cared before, coming back and pulling on their leash to come into my house on their next visit! I only work half-time so I have plenty of time for pets. I know how important your pet is to you and I'm very responsible. My dog guests are walked at least three times a day including a walk or hike of 30 minutes or longer. They are also able to use my fenced in backyard when the chickens are locked up for the night .

“We will definitely book with Jasmine again! She was super communicative, thorough, and flexible. We appreciated the pictures and detailed notes. Our shy cat warmed up quickly to her. Highly recommend!”

“Annadel and Jose were fantastic again! They accepted our request with short notice and gave our pup extra TLC. When we picked him up, he was in great spirits. They are fantastic caregivers!”

“She was very kind and very accommodating! I was having surgery that day. The time I was going to be let out of the hospital depended on things going as planned. She fine with my being later than I had planned. My brother, who wasn’t so sure about leaving “our” Charlie with someone he didn’t know, picked Charlie up for me and was very pleased with Aratrika and the way she treated our little girl!!! I will definitely be bringing Charlie to Aratrika whenever I need a sitter. Thank you so much taking such good care of my little one!”

“Feiran and her human and dog family welcomed Mario as one of their own. He was obviously comfortable (isn’t always the case), came home tired, and we received photos and videos to allay our nerves about being at a brand new place. We’d 100% book again. Thanks guys!!!”

“Sarah took great care of our dog while we were visiting our son. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Luna had fun with Sarah and her puppy. We’d love to book her services again for our future visits to Urbana.”

About: I’ve had a dog of my own since 2020. I made sure to enroll him in doggie daycare to get that enjoyment while I’m away at work. I started working from home which gave me more time to spend with my dog. I realized how close we got and how spoiled I made him. I love dogs and will care for each dog as if they are my own. I’m currently working from home. This allows me a lot of time with my dog and other dogs potentially. I set my own hours so I am able to care for the pet when needed Sticking to a routine, ensuring adequate food and fresh water is provided. Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring it is a safe culture. The dogs will be cared for

“Caitlin is AMAZING!!!! She went above and beyond to make sure our shy 4 mo old pup felt welcome and loved in her home! She took him on multiple walks while he was there and even had him on a walk right before we arrived so he would have pottied when we got there for our drive home!!! She sent me so many pictures throughout the day of all the fun things he was doing and cuddles he was receiving! She was so thorough on pup’s report card letting us know how many times he went potty, when he ate, and how long the walks were! I could go on and on about how amazing she is! I would leave my pup with her in a heart beat and we will be going back!!!! Thank you Caitlin! ❤️❤️❤️”

I am currently available Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm for drop off & pick up. weekends vary depending on pervious commitments so please ask if you need care on the weekends! About: I adopted Hanson, a retired guide dog, and he’s now an angel in heaven. He showed me how deep the bond with a dog can be and is the reason I started caring for pets. Over the years, I’ve looked after many dogs for friends and family. I give them lots of love and attention, and every pet I’ve cared for has grown really close to me. I treat each one like they’re my own. Pet care is part of my everyday life. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just spending quality time with them, caring for animals is something I naturally make time for. It’s not just a task—it’s something I truly enjoy and look forward to each day. I live alone, so pets get my full attention and a quiet, calm space to relax in. I make sure they feel safe and comfortable—whether that’s sticking to their routine, giving lots of playtime and cuddles, or just being nearby so they don’t feel alone. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow any instructions closely to keep things familiar for their pet.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5 years old. I have experience giving dogs pills, being consistent with training processes, and with senior dog care. I have also taken care of cats. I’m able to take care of dogs and cats in the mornings and evenings during the week and all day on weekends and holidays. I am a homebody so once I get done with work during the day, I am not leaving and play with my animals. I have a fenced in yard with a very friendly dog and cat. If needed, I have a room where I can separate my cat from other dogs to allow non-cat friendly dogs to stay. This room has his food, water, bed, toys, and litter box, while also being one I spend a large amount of time in so he is not lonely. My dog is fed once in the morning and is allowed to eat when he wants to and he runs outside in the backyard when he feels like it. I do adjust how often he gets fed and if he is free feeding when other animals are present. In clients' homes, I follow feeding and care instructions.
“Megan and Eric were so easy to work with! Communication and booking were a breeze, and our dog was super happy at drop off and pickup. Great people with a perfect setup for your pet. Definitely recommend!”

About: Animals are my passion and caring for them is my kind of fun! The quality of care and love I provide is reflected in my pricing. I have cared for family, friends and my own pets since 2009 - feeding, watering, training and administering medication. I worked for The Animal Hospital of Monticello from December 2021-September 2023 where I cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, at many different age and health levels. I am familiar with animal first aid and am regularly educating myself on medical concerns/treatments because health is my #1 priority. I also love to learn about animal behavior (of all sorts-I'm very nerdy), enrichment and training because I believe a mentally and physically happy animal is a healthy one. I also have experience caring for exotic animals including guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, and lizards. I am happy to learn the needs of whatever baby I am caring for! I will not board any exotic animal or cats for their safety, but I'm more than happy to provide stop ins! ***If I do not believe I can care for your pet properly for whatever reason, I may have connections to those who do have the ability and I will be happy to help you find a new care giver.*** I am currently caring for two dogs from my home three times a week M,T, Th. They train, play, eat and snuggle with me all day. I also have a twelve year old, so If we humans have errands, vacations or an emergency-I let the pet parents know as far in advance as possible. I have two very friendly Australian Shepherd type dogs, an 12 year old human child, a husband and a cat of my own. (Somehow we all get along!) Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

“I’m so grateful to have found Sarah and to have her walking my dog when I have long work days. My senior dog has gotten even more finicky as she’s aged, and Sarah totally follows her lead on whether she wants a longer walk or some extra belly rubs each day, and Sarah keeps me posted on how Ava is doing during the day. It’s such a relief and gives me so much peace of mind!”

About: I have 4 dogs that I’ve owned for 5 years now. I respect my client’s homes and the way they operate their home lives, and will do all I can to ensure their pets are happy and healthy.

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or my client’s, I always aim to create a safe, stress-free, and loving environment. I maintain routines for feeding, walks, and medications, and can accommodate special needs or medical conditions. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their routines and environment to keep things familiar and comfortable. I provide updates, follow instructions closely, and treat every pet as if they were my own.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters? I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether it’s a slow walk for an older pup or high-energy playtime for a young one, I meet animals where they are. I have two dogs of my own—Theo and Sage—so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. Beyond personal experience, I have a BA in animal science and I’m currently in the process of earning my master’s degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication, with a focus on companion animals. I also work as an assistant educator, so I bring a calm, thoughtful approach to every visit. I’m confident administering medications, caring for nervous or senior pets, and yes—I genuinely don’t mind deep-cleaning litter boxes. I treat every animal like family, with patience, care, and a whole lot of love I’m currently working full time until 3pm. However Whether it’s morning walks, meal times, or evening play sessions, I’m used to planning my day around pets’ needs. I live in a three-story townhouse with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable—whether they want to play or have their own quiet area. My own dogs are friendly, but I can easily keep pets separate if needed. I also have some dog training experience, so I’m confident handling different temperaments and routines. Your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for here or in your home! I do ask that your pet be crate trained and doesn't bark in the crate since I do live very close to neighbors.

About: My goal in life is to be your pets newest best friend. I have had experience with my very vocal and fat beagle that is 6. As well as a retired belgian malinois bomb dog that is 10. I can play fetch for hours, play games, or sit and cuddle a coach potato. I can be at your door anytime I do not have class at my flight school! I work part time at a coffee shop but my hours are very low because of school. I would really like pet sitting to be my job instead as I transition into this. I am attending a flight school to become a pilot. I am there just for a few hours a day through the week. But any chance I get I will pet sit! Since having experience with dogs and cats. I understand I am a visitor in THEIR home. I will make sure I do not intrude and make each visit a positive time. Walking, crating, potty breaks, a good cuddle and pet are all things I will do 100%. I also am at deep cleaning typical litter boxes, and can clean crates as well. If you have a fenced in yard I will play for hours. I love to walk dogs as long as they can be walked safely! Cats are pretty independent but I would love to come pay them attention!
“Ava has been super helpful, I know that my senior pup is getting a good walk while I’m at work. When I come home I can tell his needs have been met. This brings an enormous peace of mind to me.”

“Meghan took care of our dog while we are traveling over the holidays. When we had a family emergency come up and couldn't get back, she kindly offered to continue looking after him. We appreciate knowing that our dog is well taken care of in a difficult time. Will definitely book again.”

“Feiran and her family loved our pup throughout his week and a half with them. Feiran is professional but relaxed, sent us at least one video a day of our bat playing with his new friends. We definitely recommend her for boarding services 🧡”

“Rachel is a professional. She was great with Noodles and Noodles made herself right at home. Henry, her 17yo cat, was gracious enough to share his home for the weekend. Thank you Rachel.”

“Always trust Lainey with my girl! She has taken care of her as she has grown up and has gotten to know my puppy so well! My dog gets to go on vacation when she boards with her!”

“Marissa was fabulous, so sweet, and did a great job taking care of my dog Gus. Communication was great and she sent me updates and pictures while I was away. I highly recommend using Marissa and will definitely rebook for my next trip.”

“First time ever having a sitter take care of of my cat and dog. She gave me updates and made sure she was properly cared for! i described the littler box needed to be cleaned once a day and it was so clean when i got it back i was so grateful! My dog had so much fun and she came back 10x softer! I booked multiple nights back to back and she kept going on with amazing care”

“This was our second time boarding with Brittany, and we will be back! She takes the best pictures and gives us daily updates, and our pup was SO excited to see her when we dropped her off!”
