About: I've trained and have been a parent to numerous breeds. Right now my wife and I have 2 adorable golden doodles. We can't have kids so our pets mean everything to us I'm currently working from home selling items online and taking care of our dogs and cat. About: I've had two dogs, one puppy and one rescue (both Wheaten Terriers). I miss them and decided to offer my home to other dogs who mostly prefer the comforts of being in a homely environment, especially for senior dogs who need to feel settled while owners are away. I am near the trails so dogs can have a long and safe walk, or just a few 20 minute strolls around the neighborhood - it's the dog's choice! Your dog will be in very good hands. I am available 24/7 with a daily routine that would accommodate a pet dog in my household to look after and care for as if my own. I sometimes board my neighbor's dog and a feeding routine is maintained during the day, early morning walk and throughout the day as required. I have no fence so a pee break is on leash around the gardens of my home. We usually walk about 3 times per day (weather permitting) with a final pee break before bedtime. Play times and cuddle times are spontaneous, as well as nap times! I don't mind dogs on my leather sofa.

I also am willing to assist with house related things - bringing in mail, taking trash out for trash pickup, etc - just let me know and we can work it out. For walks and drop ins, my availability is generally flexible outside of classes/work and will work with you to determine the best time(s) to be there. I can also provide some house related services (like bring in mail and packages) upon request. Please note I do have in person classes and GA position at SIUE Monday through Friday, so availability is based upon schedule and distance from campus. I am available to help with the pets at the clients home. I can either stay at your place or go home at night, which I can work with you based on your needs and comfort. I have experience with gated and non gated yards (so needing to leash the dog when taking out for the potty), gates for inside the house, and crate training. Often I will have my own leash with me so that if anything happens, I'm prepared. As for walks, I often work with the dog(s) to see what triggers them and avoid as much as possible. I know not all dogs are friendly with other dogs or people so I am aware of my surroundings and provide appropriate distance and avoid people and dogs as best as I can.

I find something about raising a dog from a young pup to an aging one, so very special and rewarding. If your dog is fast paced or likes to smell every blade of grass, I’m game. Rain, shine, or snow, I’m available. I’d absolutely appreciate it if you gave me the opportunity to spoil your dog, not just walk or watch. I understand these are your babies. My house is set up well with a fenced in back yard and lots of attention and love offered. Let me know what questions or concerns you might have! I work Monday-Friday, I am usually free in the evenings and off on Thursdays typically. About: I can do it all from big breeds, to small breeds; from happy breeds, to sad breeds. I’ve also got experience in tending to aggressive animals or animals who react out of fear so don’t worry! Growing up, I had an aggressive pup who people refused to come around and it made things hard on me, I want to give ALL pet parents a chance to feel safe knowing their aggressive or reactive dog is in good hands. I know the do’s and the don’t’s! Animals are a passion and if I could have every animal in the world, I would! Give me a shot to take care of your baby and you won’t regret it! I’m an active duty military member, but I work in a 24hr shop so my schedule shifts a lot. However, that is no issue for me as long as I have a heads up from my clients! I will work with them to create a schedule that best suits both me and the animals! Your animal is now a priority of mine(: I have a 6” vinyl privacy fence with a very large backyard. I have 3 dogs of my own and can accommodate some animals in my home. However, I will need to have your animals formally meet mine before making that decision so that we don’t put anyone in harms way.
