Big, small, medium, even tempered, wild, mellow- I absolutely love them all. I have a 12 year old lab, who has slowed down a lot. She is my everything. I find something about raising a dog from a young pup to an aging one, so very special and rewarding. If your dog is fast paced or likes to smell every blade of grass, I’m game. Rain, shine, or snow, I’m available. I’d absolutely appreciate it if you gave me the opportunity to spoil your dog, not just walk or watch. I understand these are your babies. I love spending time with animals and find that the best parts of my day involve playtime and cuddle time with my pup! I have a large backyard where your dog can play and get their zoomies out along with a dog pool for the warmer days! I have experience with all sizes of dogs though, as I have taken care of a variety of sized dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. During house sitting, I can provide food, medicine, play time, walks, and many other services. I also am willing to assist with house related things - bringing in mail, taking trash out for trash pickup, etc - just let me know and we can work it out. For walks and drop ins, in addition to the service, I can provide some house related services (like bring in mail and packages) upon request. I am available to help with the pets at the clients home. I can either stay at your place or go home at night, which I can work with you based on your needs and comfort. I have experience with gated and non gated yards (so needing to leash the dog when taking out for the potty), gates for inside the house, and crate training. Often I will have my own leash with me so that if anything happens, I'm prepared. As for walks, I often work with the dog(s) to see what triggers them and avoid as much as possible. I know not all dogs are friendly with other dogs or people so I am aware of my surroundings and provide appropriate distance to avoid people and dogs as best as I can.

About: I've had my own cats for almost 6 years, I've volunteered at the Belleville Area Humane Society for around 4 months, and I do occasional dogsitting and housesitting for family friends when needed. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, growing up with dogs, cats, chickens, horses, and many other furry and feathered companions. I firmly believe that a house isn’t truly a home without a four-legged friend. We live on a 2+ acre lot with lots of room to run/walk around the property. We do not currently have a fenced in yard so dogs would need to be on a leash to ensure their safety while staying with us. We have lots of walking paths in our area that we can offer for exercise. If your dog likes a quiet place to rest, we have used our laundry room as a quiet area for pets.

If you need your pet taken to the vet, groomer, or a friend, I have reliable transportation to do so. I'll even pick up supplies and food if you provide the payment for it, and if requested, I can sweep, dust, vaccum, and overall tidy up! “Great family what I like most is that they work as a team to take care of Cody. Great communication, spacious area, very kind to the dogs. I can say Leah is about her business every time I came by she had a dog there so that lets me know that she is well trusted with animals. I want to thank Mara for taken care of Cody cause he can be a handful because he wants all of the attention, and he is scared of other dogs, she sent pictures and responded to my text messages at timely manner. She told me some things that I didn’t realize about my dog while he was there. There young children are fearless with dogs so that was great to see the kids interact without being scared. Also have a backyard, and I work pretty close to my home which I do have dog cameras! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities.
