“Savannah did a great job taking care of lily🥰 she sent me pictures every day. My dog is a picky eater, and she even bought a broth to mix with her dry food. She also responds very quick, always on communication!”
“Kat and her partner did great with Marv. We had to scramble to get him in last minute for an over night trip so she was okay with skipping the meet and greet. They said he did good but for whatever reason didn’t get along with her dogs. They still took great care of Marv and cuddled him and gave him great care and attention regardless of him not getting along with their dogs. We really appreciated them working with us and taking good care of Marv. Would definitely recommend them to anyone for a good easy to work with dog sitter! They even let us know we can change our settings to find a sitter with no dogs of their own so Marv doesn’t run into any additional issues with other dogs.”
“Amber was absolutely wonderful with Howie! From the moment we connected, she was kind, communicative, and made me feel completely at ease leaving him in her care. She sent regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind, and it was clear Howie was happy, comfortable, and well-loved while he was with her. When I picked him up, he was relaxed, happy, and had a great time.”
“Our two dogs stayed with Amy and family including their puppy Wooster. Our dogs enjoyed their time and came home well loved. We did a meet and greet before hand and Amy provided updates throughout our trip. It seems the dogs enjoyed their vacation as much as we did!”
“Melanie has been so wonderful with our 6 year old husky! Very responsive, sends lots of pictures, takes her for walks and gives lots of cuddles. She treats Mavis like family and we couldn't be more thrilled having Mavis stay with her!”
“Julianne (and Luxe!) are always just super and caring hosts. Our dog has a super time whenever she stays with them, and we get lots of adorable photos that show us their adventures!”
“Lyn took great care of our pup while we were on vacation! She sent us videos and pictures every day and our dog really enjoyed playing with Lyn’s dog, Millie! We would definitely use Lyn again!”
“Very friendly, did a great job with spike ,would definentley use again👍Gave updates and sent pics , overall very good experiance. He had a great time with the kids they made it so Spike does not want to go home.”
About: Not only have I had pets my entire life, but I've helped care for friend's and family's pets, too. I worked in a doggie daycare for a bit, so I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages. I'm currently staying home with my kids, so my availability is open throughout the day to help care for your fur babies with check-ins and walks. I'm comfortable letting animals out into fenced yards or on leash as needed for potty breaks. I can help cleanup accidents inside or scoop liter during visits. I'm happy to help supervise playtime, feedings, or general activity during visits. I'm comfortable crating dogs when leaving, if needed. Whatever instructions you provide, I can execute and ensure your pet is well cared for!
“Thanks again for another great visit! Journey loves staying with Bill, which makes for worry-free vacations. She is well taken care of and makes herself right at home. She gets plenty of walks, which she loves, and we know she gets plenty of snuggles. We are grateful!!”
“I couldn't be happier with the care Luna received! Chris and Erika were attentive, loving, and kept me updated with photos. Luna came home happy and healthy! Highly recommend!”
“I 100% recommend Alysa!! She did an amazing job watching my high maintenance pup in her home while I was on vacation. She is incredibly kind, responsible, and my dog loved her. She followed all my instructions, including giving daily medications, to a T. I felt very comfortable leaving my pup with her and her dog Oatmeal. I definitely recommend Alysa and would use her again.”
“Kind, receptive, attentive. Keandra is just incredible, she has a wonderful home that feels so amazing. The Vibes are perfect. I really do feel safe letting my dog (my baby boy) stay here.”
About: Hello! I’m Emma! I am a student at ISU. I love all animals and have a cat named Danny. I have worked as a veterinary assistant and have had both cats and dogs my whole life. I am new to Rover and pet sitting, but have more than enough experience with all animals from small critters to farm animals. I am a current student at ISU, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I am also usually around on weekends to stop by for a walk, feeding, or some quick play time. I am comfortable administering medication, feeding, and will love and respect your pet. I have had several animals with health issues whether it be FIV, paralysis, or whatever else and I want to make sure you’re comfortable having a sitter that understands the potential need for extra care!
“Highly recommended! Our 5 month old puppy was so well cared for, and we could tell right away that she felt comfortable and happy. We really appreciated the daily updates and photos—it gave us peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. We couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover stay and will definitely be booking again.”
About: I have owned K9’s all of my life. I absolutely adore dogs of all types. At this phase of life I am currently taking a hiatus of owning a K9 while I consider owning more properties. I think Rover is a great alternative medium way for me to continue providing my love for dogs, and give back to the community. I am home quite often, most of the days if need be. I can work from home. My current entrepreneurial endeavor allows me to build my own schedule. In my home I would keep K9 nearby in my two main level living rooms. I have all laminate hardwood wood flooring. The fenced backyard allows for easy potty breaks and play time, however I will be with the K9 while they are outside to ensure their safety.
“Karan was amazing. He watched our Garfield sized Cat and was truly wonderful. Smart, responsible, kind and loving to our fat feline. I can’t recommend Karan enough. He has an adorable 15 lbs perfect dog as well that will get along great with any dog or cat. Nice place as well, so you are leaving your furry friend in the best of hands. Thanks Karan. We will use your services again for sure.”

“Georgia was available on somewhat short notice to look in on our two older cats while we went away for the weekend. She was always on time and gave them attention when they needed it. Was able to give insulin shots with no issues. She was great with communication and showed respect to our home and property. Will definitely keep her in mind for our future cat care needs!”
“MacKenzie was on time every day and since I asked for text updates, she texted every day to let me know everything was OK. Couldn't ask for more! Will definitely book again for my next trip.”
“Calli did a great job watching my cat and house for several days, and she was flexible accommodating a last minute flight change on my return. She recognized a stressed-out cat who was not used to her owner being away, took her time letting the cat warm up her, and provided updates along the way. You'll be comfortable leaving your pet and house in Calli's hands!”
“Lana took care of our 2 cats while we were gone for 11 days. She did a terrific job. She checked in regularly with us. And dealt calmly with two extra challenges: a cat who occasionally pees on the rug, and an ant infestation. She is bright, cheery, and dependable. We recommend her extremely highly.”
“She was absolutely wonderful! Very polite, punctual, and always friendly with a smile. I contacted her at the last minute, just one day before I needed her, and she was available and very accommodating. She kept me updated the entire time and made me feel completely comfortable knowing my cats were in good hands. I’m very grateful for her help and would definitely book with her again. Highly recommended!”
“Amber was a HUGE help to me. I changed plans twice on her and she was so kind and understanding and even let me book another night unexpectedly!! I also love how much her family loved my fur baby. I will absolutely be asking amber again! 110% recommend!!!”
“Kaylee was awesome! She communicated quickly and was gracious when my plans shifted. Kaylee took great care of Humphrey and my house. I appreciated the picture updates a lot. Humphrey really enjoyed Kaylee's company. We will definitely be booking her again to house sit!”
“Jaclyn dropped in on my cat while I was out of the country for two weeks. This was a huge relief because not only did she take pics and fill out his card, she also kept me informed of a possible illness and engaged with me in multiple texts on his care and well being. 100% will book with Jackie again!!”
“Hannah was so amazing! Milo loved when her and her kids dropped in for visits! She was always flexible with me and my schedule! She had great communication about everything! We cannot thank her enough for the great care she provided our puppy!”
About: As a dedicated pre-vet student, I bring 10 years of personal experience as a dog owner and hands-on training through my vet club. My passion for animal care goes beyond basic pet sitting—I’ve provided trusted care for friends’ and family’s pets, gaining real-world experience. I’ve also worked at a veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant, where I helped care for dogs and cats, further building my skills in handling, health monitoring, and patient care. Winning 1st place in the state for veterinary science at HOSA showcases my deep knowledge and commitment to animal well-being. With me, your pet receives not just companionship, but expert-level attention and care. As a college student, I balance classes with a flexible schedule that allows plenty of time for pet care. I’m available for walks in the early afternoon and evenings, along with play breaks and quality time to keep pets active, happy, and loved. Even with my studies, I make sure your pet receives my full attention and care. I care for pets by following a consistent routine with walks, playtime, and attention. I’d do the same in a client’s home, making sure their pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for.
“Chris and Kate are fantastic! This is our second time booking with them to watch our kitties and will not be the last! They provided detailed notes after each visit to let us know how things went - I love how quickly our kittens became comfortable with them almost immediately! Thank you, Chris and Kate, for providing such great care for Lin and Dottie while we were out of town. It's such a comforting feeling knowing they're in great hands!”
“Alyssa was amazing! We were so nervous to leave our 4-month-old kitten at home while we were on vacation. We have an 8-year-old cat as well, who loves alone time…but our kitten needs a lot more attention! Alyssa sent so many pictures and detailed updates. We felt at ease knowing she was there! (:”
“Bill and Marie did an excellent job of taking care of our cat Holly. She is a shy cat and this was the first time that we had left her for an extended time period. After a few days she warmed up to them and sat on Bill’s lap. They watered our plants and shoveled the snow which was much appreciated. When we need someone to take care of Holly again we will definitely contact Bill!”
“If u want to be confident that your dog is being cared for while u r away Martina is the best. I can personally vouch for the time and care she takes to make sure your beloved animal is happy, safe and comfortable while u r away from them. We hate to leave our pets. And with the illness that was going around we didn't want to take our doggy to a kennel. Knowing she was at home and in her own space was the most important thing to us. Thank you Martina. I hope u can be proud of the wonderful job you do for us.”

About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.
“Peggy is exactly the person you want taking care of your pets. She is patient, relaxed, and full of love! She has a dog of her own, Peanut, and offers to do an introduction before your booking to make sure all animals are comfortable. My days are somewhat unpredictable and Peggy was always accommodating and patient with my schedule. Maple would rush to her door each day in anticipation. We feel so lucky that Maple has been under such great care for the past 2 weeks!!”

“Karen was so wonderful! I was in Bloomington for five hours to visit family for the holidays and needed a place that my dog could stay while I was with family. Karen was incredibly accommodating and a happy safe space for my pup. He is disabled and has really bad separation anxiety. He was able to make him feel loved and safe and continuously sent me pictures and updates on him. I highly recommend using him:)”

“Kat and her partner did great with Marv. We had to scramble to get him in last minute for an over night trip so she was okay with skipping the meet and greet. “Kind, receptive, attentive. Keandra is just incredible, she has a wonderful home that feels so amazing. The Vibes are perfect. I really do feel safe letting my dog (my baby boy) stay here.”
About: I have taken care of animals for a while and even worked on a farm! All of your friends will be safe and cared for in my home. I am available for boarding pretty much any days of the week and I am perfectly okay with last minute bookings and cancellations if needed! I understand how life can get! I work only 4 min from my job and have flexibility to step in and out. I also have an indoor camera to keep an eye when I am away.
About: Hi!! I was busy watching pets all summer, as I'm a teacher. Now, I am back to work and have less availability. If your pet can go 8+ hours without a potty break, I can help! Otherwise, I will be back next summer with more availability :) I have limited availability now that I am back to teaching, but please reach out if you think we can work something out! I am busy all day and at times have kid activities in the evenings, so my availability is limited :( We have a partially fenced in yard. We live close to the trial, so we will go on many walks. We have a leash outside as well as room to crate inside.
About: Had pets all my life. Trained a couple of puppies and cared for a special needs dog for 4 years. Taught dogs the bell method of asking to go outside Currently not available on holidays. I am available everyday of the week. If there are any changes my schedule will be kept up to date consistently Large yard with a tall fence. Dog and cat safe home. Two dogs currently. They are 3 years old and 8 months and very friendly. They both have lots of energy and love to play. The 8 month old is not neutered yet but will be once he is 1 year old per vet recommendation. Nice neighborhood.
“Kayla is a real treasure! Her home was spotless and she and her family were great with our dog. She sent us daily updates along with pics, which we loved. As an abandoned rescue, we were concerned about how he'd handle a long boarding but Kayla settled him right away. She welcomed our quick visit in the middle of the stay. Thank you Kayla!”
“My pup seemed to really enjoy herself at Ava’s. Ava sent some photos of them playing in the yard and my pup tuckered out after. Ava did a great job taking care of her. I would book with Ava again.”
