“I knew from our first meeting that Nathan and Jackie were the right choice to take care of my Sophie for the 2 weeks I would be in Japan. And I was right. They sent daily pictures/videos of: Sophie playing with their dogs Reilly and Bailey; the kids walking, holding, and loving on Sophie; and photos of some well-deserved chill time. We had excellent communication for the duration of Sophie’s stay with them. Nathan contacted me about a week into her stay to report an issue that he felt needed reviewed by her vet. I agreed and Nathan made the appointment, then took her for a vet visit. The vet also agreed with Nathan and gave Sophie 2 prescriptions. Nathan paid for the vet visit and meds himself (since I was not available at the time). For the next week, Nathan and Jackie gave Sophie the meds prescribed and reported back to me how she was doing with her medical issue. I am so thankful for Nathan’s keen observation and proactive stance on Sophie’s health. The vet visit and daily meds were more than they signed up for and they just took care of it all. I will definitely be taking Sophie back for future boardings, and may even have to take her for occasional visits so she can play with the dogs and the kids!”

About: Hi!! I was busy watching pets all summer, as I'm a teacher. Now, I am back to work and have less availability. If your pet can go 8+ hours without a potty break, I can help! Otherwise, I will be back next summer with more availability :) I have limited availability now that I am back to teaching, but please reach out if you think we can work something out! I am busy all day and at times have kid activities in the evenings, so my availability is limited :( We have a partially fenced in yard. We live close to the trial, so we will go on many walks. We have a leash outside as well as room to crate inside.

About: I was my aunt and uncle’s primary dog walker and sitter from middle school until I moved out for college. I have house-sat twice for a week at a time with no problems. They have a very energetic puppy who was 5 months old and 8 months old respectively when I was house sitting. I mostly have experience with medium-sized dogs, but I’ve socialized with dogs of all sizes. My own dog, Luna, is back home with my parents. We’ve had her for ten years and love her dearly, even when she eats grass. I have a busy class load Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I’m available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons and evenings for walks and doggie dinners. Friday through Sunday are usually very open for me, and I would love to spend my weekends with your dogs! I am away some weekends, usually about once a month. I am fully willing to stay overnight with your dogs any day of the week, even school nights. For full time sitting, I will check in on your dogs every 3-5 hours during the school day. If I need to leave on weekends, I will not be gone for more than four hours at a time unless specifically agreed upon beforehand. I’m fully prepared to be nipped, scratched, and jumped on, but will not encourage this behavior. My general rule for walks is one leash per hand, for both my safety and your dogs’. As a student I don’t have the ability to bring any pets to my own residence, though I do now have a car. I am equipped for both energetic playtime and sleepy snuggles. I do not have any supplies of my own yet, since I’m just getting started here in Normal.

About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. About: I do have a cat of my own and a bunny and always dog sit my family dog Capone he’s about two and an half years old! And a pitbull mix, also dog sit Gemma a sharpei, I do have references! About: Hi!! I was busy watching pets all summer, as I'm a teacher. Now, I am back to work and have less availability. If your pet can go 8+ hours without a potty break, I can help! Otherwise, I will be back next summer with more availability :) I have limited availability now that I am back to teaching, but please reach out if you think we can work something out! I am busy all day and at times have kid activities in the evenings, so my availability is limited :( We have a partially fenced in yard. We live close to the trial, so we will go on many walks. We have a leash outside as well as room to crate inside.
