About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 25 years, from yorkies to German Shepherds . Senior care expert with thorough knowledge of administering meds to the pickiest of pups. On a daily basis I might have to leave my home for 2 hours. Very rarely am I away more than 4 hours. If your pup requires continuous care, please inform me in advance. I work from home and can be flexible to meet most schedules. During the summer months, don’t walk doggos outside if it’s too hot, but I am happy to take your treasured friend on a field trip to an indoor space for exercise. My home is my cozy and comfy respite from the loud world. Rest assured that your friend(s) will have the royal treatment, all the play and snugs they wish. We will go on a walk to the park or if you have a baby in their golden years, let’s take a nap all day and/ or stroller ride around the neighborhood 🐾Pups are welcome on all furniture, cool AC, soft beds, and have access to fresh filtered water 24/7. “MacKenzie & Jacob own 4 cats (no dogs but they sometimes board them) and clearly love animals. My 2 sibling kittens were born feral on my farm and when Mama disappeared, I had to take them in. Did not intend to keep them but these kitties had different plans. I am in the process of training them to spend more time indoors, and interact with other humans and animals. How lucky that I found MacKenzie on Rover. My kitties had their own space (spare bedroom) where I set up their familiar bedding, litter box, food, scratch post, etc. I started with a 24 hour stay and will prob try a few more days before taking a longer trip later this year. MacKenzie sent me regular updates. One kitty was slightly braver, exploring her surrounding. They both allowed MacKenzie and Jacob to pet them (although they admit they were shaking, which is no surprise) and they ate (not much) and used the litter box, but barely left the bedroom. MacKenzie & Jacob put them in their carriers minutes before I arrived (the cats only slightly resisted they said) and brought them downstairs with all of their belongings & helped me load it all up. I am very much looking forward to having my kitties spend more time with these two wonderful cat sitters - even when I don’t need a sitter - bc I want them to get more human and kitty interaction and I believe MacKenzie and Jacob’s home is the ideal environment. They are lovely, kind-hearted sitters who will give my babies the love and patience they need to become less feral and become the 2 house cats I need them to be.”

I have been dog-walking for 5 years and have nearly three years of experience as a home-health aid/caregiver for our local elderly, where I also walked, picked up after, snuggled and played with many clients pets! I am comfortable administering oral medication to dogs/cats and comfortable with pets of any size. I’m full-time at home, so plenty of time to give extra care and attention to your furry loved one. Available every day of the week besides midday Sundays! I have reliable transportation (my personal vehicle) for travel to clients homes for sitting and walking, as well as taking dogs to parks to play. I can allow one/two dogs inside of my home. My dog only eats when she is hungry, so I ensure her food and water bowls are never empty. I will follow clients care plan/requests for how your pets are fed. About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and play with their pets and I can watch animals at my house or stop in to yours to take care of your beloved pets! About: Please only request if your dog is crate trained! They will only be in there briefly if I have to leave and overnight while sleeping (my two dogs take up most of the bed, so it is hard to fit a third unless they are tiny). I’ve been caring for/around animals my entire life. I have two small dogs and two cats of my own. Caring for them has taught me so much and made my love for animals stronger. Both my dogs and my cats are pretty laid back and enjoy sleeping most of the day. I am patient with any animal, and can adjust to any of their needs! I am currently working from home, so I can be available at any time. During my lunch breaks I usually take a walk with my dogs, or hangout with them in the backyard if the weather allows! I have a pretty big fenced in yard that is perfect for any dog to run around in! I can also provide lots of toys for inside, and the dogs are free to run around the house and play wherever they’d like. As for dogs or cats in your home, I am entertained easily and can sit and enjoy their company if they prefer a quiet environment, or I will play with them if they want to do that. I can adjust to their preferences.

About: I have owned dogs since I was 8 years old! From raising two puppies to housing a friends dog temporarily, I have acquired experience with training dogs as small as french bulldogs to as big as pitbulls! I have a passion for animals and truly treat them as family. I work part-time in the summer at a retail store where the shifts are 4 hours (but with enough notice I can request off and be available for all your pups needs!) I currently attend the U of I in Urbana-Champaign, but can pet sit/drop in most Fridays-Mondays! About: I am a teacher and have summers off! Let me and my sweet daughter help take care of your pet this summer. We are too busy during the school year to justify having our own pet, so let us spoil yours! I have lots of availability this summer- let's work something out! Just reach out and we can get something on the calendar- whether you need over night care or your furry friend needs a walk. We have a partially fenced in yard. We live close to the trial, so we will go on many walks. We have a leash outside as well as room to crate inside.
About: I have had animals my whole life and cared for them for my mom's. They have 30 cats some dogs and other pets I will go over and pet sit for them when they leave. I am also becoming certified in veterinary medicine. I believe in good communication and punctuality. I like to stick to a schedule and spend time with fur babies when I can. I am cpr certified with animals. I work a full time job i can take care of pets before and after my shifts as well as on my lunches. I am also free on the weekends for anything. Pets will be constantly monitored and not given anything unless approved by the pet parent. Walks and play time will be provided and comfy blankets.
