About: I have at somepoint had 100+ pets with my ex that we took care of together. I have adopted "agressive" pets only for them just needing a loving home to feel comfortable. We also fostered a bunch of pets to help when APL was struggling for space. I do have a very busy schedule myself. However I make time to spend with our pets. We make homemade food for them and have a bunch of toys for them to play with. My partner is a stay at home spouse so no one gets into too much mischief. I view pets as family members and they have the comfort of laying on the couch and bed with us. We have a decently big yard with a fence for them to run about and have outside time.
About: I have experience fostering dogs with the animal shelter APL and have a small toy poodle of my own. He is very friendly with other dogs and loves to play. I love dogs and would love to have the opportunity to watch dogs and take care of others! I am open to watching dogs for a couple hours, a day, or even a couple of days if that is what is needed. My house has a small backyard and I am also available to do drop ins at the dogs own home. The area is very quiet and would be comfortable for another dog to be in. If I am caring for someone else's dog I plan on being home for the time I'm watching the dog so that it will be well taken care of. About: Ive been a home based professional pet grooming in the Springfield/Riverton area for over 30 years, I offer enrichment based services and continue my education thru online classes and in person seminars to stay up to date on the latest health and wellness issues.I am licensed thru Dept of agriculture, an IBPSA member, PACCC animal care provider, Fear free certified, first aid/CPR certified, Hero for healthy pets certified, a member of NDGAA, NCGI and working on becoming an AKC good citizen dog trainer. Im expanding my enrichment based dog grooming business to boarding and daycare. About: I was blessed with the opportunity to care for dogs from 2018-2023. I worked at a vet clinic, Meadowbrook Vet Clinic (Peoria, IL), on the boarding side. My job consisted of feeding dogs, cleaning their runs, making sure they have clean water and taking dogs out 4x a day. I also worked in the doggy daycare so I was around dogs for about 8 hours a day reading behavior and monitoring their play. I now live in Springfield and I would love to continue taking care of animals for those who need it! About: I have cared for and watched after a variety of furry friends. Big or small, I love them and often times they love me back. I am currently working from home full time so I will have plenty of time to play with and spoil your fur baby. This also gives me plenty of opportunity to be with some of the babies that aren’t accustomed to being alone throughout the day! Male pups will wear a belly band for the first 24 hours of their stay, at minimum - this soft, absorbent band fits around their belly and attaches with Velcro on their back. Belly bands reduce marking behavior, especially in unneutered males. You may bring your own, but we can supply them, free of charge. Using belly bands keeps our home calmer, cleaner, and fresher by eliminating marking behavior and reduces anxiety for future pups by giving them less reason to want to mark over the scent of previous pups. We have indoor and outdoor security cameras in many locations that can be helpful to review if any safety situations arise. The safety of all of our pups is very important to us! (They’re also great for catching fun footage!)

My house has a small backyard and I am also available to do drop ins at the dogs own home. The area is very quiet and would be comfortable for another dog to be in. If I am caring for someone else's dog I plan on being home for the time I'm watching the dog so that it will be well taken care of. I’m currently only working part time so I have plenty of time to spend with your animals. I am available early mornings or early afternoons to give your animal a break during the workday! I am also available any time on the weekends. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your dog company. I have a toy poodle and a golden retriever. I can also do drops in to walk or play with your dog as well!
