“I felt so relieved to leave our doggie Whiskey with Susan and her husband. They gave him so much love and attention. She sent us so many pictures of how he was doing and his daily activities. She walked him, played with him and gave him all the love I could ever ask for. We felt so great leaving our doggie baby with her and have already planned another trip in the spring and have it booked. Im so happy I found her on Rover”

“Jessica watched Chloe on short notice when an other Rover lady backed out at the last minute. She really enjoyed her stay and we will be using the service again. She has a perfect set-up and both she and her husband are dog lovers.”

“A great stay for our greyhound Happy. She is loved and well cared-for by Beatrice. Our second stay with Beatrice and it will not be our last. Happy was immediately comfortable when I dropped her off for this second stay - such a great sign that she is content and feels at home while with Beatrice.”

She was always communicative and very flexible. Leslie took great care of my dog and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional dog sitter!”

“Renae was great! Our dog is a 6 month old puppy. We got him weeks before we hired Renae and were very worried about how he was going to do and if he was going to be okay. Renae went above and beyond the call. She took him to parks and the beach and kept him busy the whole weekend. She sent daily updates (sometimes even twice daily) that included pictures of him enjoying himself. We are first time dog owners and she did a great job of relieving the stress of leaving a dog so young with a stranger. She even gave us a few pointers that she's picked up on in her time with dogs. She's a true professional and I'm very impressed with the quality of care we received.”

“Michele (and her family) took care of our dog really well. She gave us updates of how Rocky is doing and was very accommodating when I had to change the drop off and pick up times last minute. We highly recommend Michele.”

“Palvi is very nice and did a great job in taking care of Snoopy over 5 days while we were on vacation. Snoopy is shy, anxious by nature & picky eater. Snoopy got comfortable with her family in short time & had good fun time playing hide & seek with her kids & her pet Corgi. We are so thankful that we found Palvi & would definitely recommend her.”

“Keith was great with our French bulldog. Very responsive, clean home, and super easy to work with while we went away for a week long vacation. Will definitely use again!”

“Daniele is awesome. She is super reliable. I like how she sends pictures and text messages of our dogs playing or getting a belly rub enabled us to relax and enjoy our trip. We could see they were in good hands. She is a caring and competent professional. We highly recommend her.”

“Yesenia was so great. I was in from out of town and I had a gap between when we needed to be out of the Airbnb and when the class I came for ended. I needed some place to take my dog for a few hours. She was conveniently near where I needed to be. She attentively asked about my dog’s needs (she’s dog-reactive and has anxiety) and provided a safe space for her to be. My dog felt so relaxed that she fell asleep while cuddling with her. Would highly recommend Yesenia’s services!”

About: Hi there, my name is Sami! I've lived with dogs my whole life, big and small - some of which include a Golden Retriever, a Yorkie, and a Maltese. My sister occasionally comes over with her Goldendoodle, and I love spending time with my aunt's Bernese Mountain Dogs when I can visit them. I plan to adopt my own dog later in the future, and perhaps enroll them as a therapy dog to bring comfort to others. I've watched both my sister's and parents' dogs while they are away for the day, and I have some experience in caring for them when they were puppies. I used to walk my parents' dogs in the past, as well. I enjoy interacting with dogs as a whole, and I put their safety and comfort first. I'm an introvert who lives a quiet lifestyle, but I also love to have fun, so if your furry friend needs someone to hang out with while you're away, I'll be there for them! NOTE: Though I adore cats, I am unfortunately allergic and therefore cannot interact with them directly if you have any in your home. I can still feed or play with them via a cat teaser or laser pointer, but I cannot pet them or pick them up. :( Currently, I am working full-time at an elementary school in Minooka. As I share similar hours with our students, my availability Monday through Friday will only be after 3:30pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available during afternoons and evenings, though prior arrangements in advance can be made for a morning walk or drop-in visit! I will update my schedule as soon as anything changes. If you have any questions regarding my schedule for a particular day or week, please don’t hesitate to message me! IMPORTANT: As per Rover’s Terms of Service, please note that I cannot share private contact details or accept methods of payment outside of Rover. This is for the safety and security of all parties involved. When out on a walk, I will make sure your friend is kept safe and away from hazards or things they may be uncomfortable with. When dropping in for a visit, I will make sure their needs are met and everything is secured for their safety. They would never be left unsupervised, and they'll get lots of love and playtime! I will gladly send photos and text updates upon request. Please do let me know your communication frequency preferences, so I don't accidentally disturb you with messages!

About: My passion for dogs has been with me since a very young age. As a child, my dream was to be a vet because of my passion and love for animals. I have 20 years of service, and my approach to caring for my dogs at home has always been holistic and natural. I've reversed my dog's diagnosed disease naturally and have saved his life naturally when vets have told me to put my dog to sleep. I'm thorough with my dogs’ routine, medication, diet, and cleaning eating. That makes me highly prepared for the dogs I tend to. Fun fact: My family and I own 17 pets! Usually, when everyone goes on a family trip, I'm the caregiver for all our pets at once. Hopefully, the background I give of my experience gives you peace in choosing me to watch your babies 🐩🐶🐕 I do freelance work; it's my main source of income. Therefore, it’s easy to create my own schedule and very flexible days and hours. It will be easier for you to book with me as I strive to work with your schedule and needs effortlessly. Personally, with my own dog, I'm highly attentive. Even though we have a backyard, I strongly believe in always being present and attentive when taking your dog out to potty. Even in your own backyard! Anytime they are outside, I will be present. I also think it’s important to interact and be present regularly with them; they need attention and love, too. I make sure to spend time with my dog when I come home and make time to play, cuddle, and show him affection . Also, it's important for me to take him out of the house. Even if it's a short walk, cruising in the car to pick up errands or food. It's important for them to explore and experience different environments.

I am a substitute teacher with a very flexible schedule, so I can take care of animals pretty much any time during days when I am not subbing. For sitting at other’s’ home, I try and keep the pet’s schedule as close to normal as possible! I prefer sitting in other’s’ homes just to keep things simple for the furry babies.
About: **All clients are required to provide updated vaccination records and any details about ongoing flea/tick/heartworm prevention or treatment details before booking** What sets me apart from other sitters is my deep love for animals, my ability to connect with dogs of all personalities, and my specialized skills in training, energy management, and senior pet care. I believe every dog deserves patient, loving, and attentive care, and I tailor my approach to meet each pet’s unique needs. 🐶 For Puppies: ✔️ Gentle Training & Reinforcement – I help puppies learn basic commands, leash manners, and positive behaviors using reward-based training. ✔️ Housebreaking Support – I reinforce potty training routines with patience and consistency. ✔️ Safe & Structured Play – Puppies have endless energy, and I make sure they get mentally stimulating and safe playtime. 🐾 For Energetic Dogs: ✔️ Engaging Walks & Play – High-energy dogs need more than just a stroll! I provide interactive walks, fetch, and mental stimulation exercises to keep them happy and fulfilled. ✔️ Structured Exercise – I tailor activity levels to prevent restlessness and promote good behavior. ✔️ Behavior Reinforcement – I work on impulse control and focus exercises to help channel their energy positively. 💛 For Needy or Anxious Dogs: ✔️ Calming & Reassuring Presence – I understand that some dogs need extra attention, and I provide plenty of love, belly rubs, and companionship. ✔️ Routine & Comfort – I maintain a structured routine to create a sense of security. ✔️ Separation Anxiety Support – I use gentle techniques to help anxious dogs feel more comfortable when their owners are away. 🐕🦺 For Senior Dogs & Medical Needs: ✔️ Gentle Care & Comfort – I understand the needs of aging pets, providing slow-paced walks, joint-friendly activities, and extra patience. ✔️ Medication Administration – As a pharmacist, I am highly experienced in administering medications safely and correctly, including pills, injections, and supplements. ✔️ Health Monitoring – I keep an eye on subtle signs of discomfort or health concerns and communicate any changes with pet parents. Every pet I care for becomes part of my extended family. Whether they need structured training, high-energy exercise, extra snuggles, or specialized medical care, I am committed to providing the very best. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and well-being are my top priorities! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine, and I’ve structured my schedule to ensure I’m always available when pets need attention, exercise, and love. With open availability, I can accommodate early morning walks, midday check-ins, evening visits, and even last-minute requests. 🐶 How Pet Care Fits Into My Routine: ✔️ Flexible Schedule – I’m available throughout the day for walks, playtime, and drop-in visits. ✔️ Consistent & Reliable – Whether your pet needs daily care or occasional check-ins, I provide dependable service. ✔️ Personalized Attention – Every pet is unique, and I tailor my care to their needs, whether it’s an energetic pup who loves long walks or a senior dog that enjoys a slow stroll. ✔️ Overnight & Extended Stays – I’m available for in-home pet sitting or boarding at my place to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. Caring for pets is more than just a job for me—it’s a responsibility I take seriously, ensuring every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether in your home or mine, I strive to maintain a stress-free, happy environment for your furry friend. 🐾 In Your Home: ✔️ Routine & Comfort – I stick to your pet’s normal schedule for meals, walks, and playtime to reduce stress. ✔️ Clean & Safe Environment – I respect your space, ensuring everything stays clean while keeping your pet’s area tidy. ✔️ Extra Love & Attention – Whether your dog needs belly rubs, playtime, or a little extra reassurance, I’m there for them. ✔️ Specialized Care – From administering medication to accommodating senior dogs or puppies, I adjust to each pet’s unique needs. 🐶 In My Home (if applicable): ✔️ A Safe & Loving Space – My home is pet-friendly, with plenty of space for play and relaxation. ✔️ Supervised Play & Exercise – Dogs get the attention and activity they need to stay happy and healthy. ✔️ Crate & Non-Crate Options – I accommodate whatever setup your dog is used to for a smooth transition. ✔️ Like One of My Own – Your pet will get plenty of love, cuddles, and care while staying with me! About: I have worked with animals at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, where we house dogs, cats, and even birds, bunnies, or hamsters. I worked there for two years, and I have grown up with & been around both dogs and cats my whole life. I am available to care for your fur babies in the mornings, late afternoons, and evenings. I work Monday through Friday at a local law firm, so I have more flexibility for house sitting than dog walking or drop in visits during the day. I can provide treats, toys, and love to a client’s fur baby. I’m able to take dogs on walks and potty breaks, feed and administer medicine to both dogs and cats, crate a dog if needed, or snuggle up with a client’s fur baby.
“We are on a road trip and needed some help while we attended a football game! I contacted Kathryn pretty late and she was so willing to help with my Labrador! She’s a bit anxious and Kathryn made her feel calm and took her for a nice walk. Thank you so much Kathryn! You rock!”
About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life, have had dogs since I was a baby. And have consistently pet sat for neighbors and friends. I’ve also volunteered at vet clinics. I am a college student home for the summer. And I’m looking for some extra work! Please reach out if you need pet care. :) All care is provided in the client’s home so pets can stay comfortable in their own environment. I follow your pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, and playtime, and always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and respect for your home. I’m also happy to send updates and photos while you’re away!

“This was the longest I've left my dogs and had no worries. Kimberly treated my dogs like they were her own with lots of love and attention, had great communication, and sent lots of pictures and updates. There's nothing better than picking up well cared for and happy dogs! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

“Tracy did a wonderful job watching my fur babies. I could tell that she gave them lots of love while I was out. She was very kind and sent me lots of great pictures during their stay! I would highly recommend! Thank you so much Tracy!”

“I had to leave my pup for 5 days to fly back home and was honestly so anxious but Kathleen sent me plenty of updates and took great care of her! She was extremely accommodating and treated my dog like she was one of her own. I definitely recommend and would re-book with her in the future!!”

“My stella had a nice time staying with them. I received text each day telling me how the night went. Even when I came to pick her up they were on a walk with her. I will use there service again.”

“Brian and his family are amazing! He is patient, attentive and caring. This was my second time using rover, and needed someone last min, he was flexible and communicative, and sent tons of updates and pics that helped put my mind at ease. I highly recommend!”
“Mera and her family took such great care of my dog! He looked so happy and cared for in every photo and video. He is a good judge of character and when I dropped him off after the initial meet and greet, he practically dragged me to the door because he couldn't wait to see Mera and her boys.”

“Jackie is the best! We felt so confident leaving our Maddie with Jackie and her family. Jackie sent us pictures everyday and I could see Maddie was having a great time and was well taken care of. This family loves dogs and it shows. We would use Jackie again in a heart beat!”

“Felicia was so great with my boys! We booked for boarding last minute and she was able to take them no problem. The boys got to relax and spend time outside, it was like their own separate vacation. 5/5!”

“Gave updates every day and took great care of my dog King while I was away. He has liver and ear issues and Balbina gave him ear drops and medicine every day. I felt comfortable leaving even though he was dealing with some medical issues.”

“Leslie was AMAZING with our dog! She sent so many photos and updates and my dog was so comfortable with her! I felt like I was leaving my dog with a close friend.

“Vader seemed happy & seems like he wouldn’t have minded staying longer with Kristen & her family. I will use her again 🐶🙌 I forgot his crate & his paw was injured before boarding, so she could’ve easily turned Vader away upon arrival & she went above the regular needs to accommodate him & care for him. Thank you Kristen.”

“This is the second time my pup has stayed with her and we love her! My dog is sad the whole car ride home because she doesn’t want to leave. She makes sure to send videos and pics with updates to let you know your pup is doing ok. She’s so flexible if adjustments are needed. Has definitely become our top rover choice for boarding!”

“I was traveling out of the country for 2 weeks and boarded Sammy with Katie & Tim…they were amazing hosts , and it was a home away from home for Sammy. They communicated promptly, sent pictures and updates regularly so we did not miss a beat! Sammy came back home a happy dog! Will always board with Katie & Tim, they were awesome!”

“Daniele is awesome. She is super reliable. I like how she sends pictures and text messages of our dogs playing or getting a belly rub enabled us to relax and enjoy our trip. We could see they were in good hands. She is a caring and competent professional. We highly recommend her.”
