“Susan was absolutely amazing with Paganini! 🐾 She has a big backyard where he got to run and play all day, and she took him on long, happy walks too. Throughout the day, she sent me tons of adorable photo updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. Paganini came home happy, calm, and completely well-rested—a true sign he was loved and well cared for. She was also incredibly kind, communicative, and accommodating with our schedule, especially knowing we have a baby at home. On top of that, she made sure Paganini got his daily medication without any issues, which was such a relief. I honestly can’t recommend Susan enough—she treated Paganini like one of her own, and we feel so lucky to have found her!”

“Miriam and Terrell took such wonderful care of my dogs, Diamond and Tiny, this past weekend! From the moment I dropped them off, I felt completely at ease. They followed all of my care instructions perfectly and truly treated my furbabies like their own. Their home is very dog-friendly, and the large fenced-in yard was a huge bonus—Diamond and Tiny clearly enjoyed spending lots of time outside. I also loved that they were comfortable letting the dogs relax on the furniture and even sleep in the beds, which made them feel right at home. Communication was excellent—I received multiple pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. And the report card at pickup? Such a thoughtful and fun touch! I really appreciated that extra level of care and detail. I can tell Diamond and Tiny were happy, loved, and well cared for. I would absolutely book with Miriam and Terrell again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch sitters! —Litisha, Diamond & Tiny 🐾”

“Leslie did a great job with my Marley. Marley is a very anxious dog and he had a blast with Leslie. I will leave for my work trip in a couple weeks knowing that he is in good hands and being well cared for! 🤍”

“Beyonka did a great job. She always sent us pictures and Denver looked very happy when I picked him up, he was clean and smelling very good and it looked like he had a blast with her dogs. I absolutely recommend her.”

“Phenomenal Experience with Michele G.! Michele went above and beyond to make sure she had everything in place for a smooth, happy weekend with our fur baby. From the moment we arrived, we could tell she was a genuinely kind and caring person—Skye immediately warmed up to her, tail wagging and full of excitement. Throughout our trip, Michele was always available for quick, friendly communication, which gave us great peace of mind. When we returned, Skye greeted us in high spirits, clearly having enjoyed her time. We’re so grateful for Michele’s attentiveness and warmth, and we will absolutely be rebooking with her in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Ashley was amazing!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!! My little June had an amazing time!! She took her to play with other dogs, kept up with her puppy trading for us, and send pictures and videos every day!!”

“Erin was fantastic with my dog, Max, this weekend! She provided daily updates, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. “Thanks Liz for watching Beau and for being flexible with the wintry weather. We are glad that we found you! It was hard to leave our pet at Christmas time, but we felt comfortable with him in your care.”

“Brian and his family were awesome. I had some anxiety about leaving my little guy. I received daily updates which came with pictures. I knew he was in a good home when I saw how comfortable he was. When Brian noticed that my little guy hadn’t eaten a lot one day, he added beef broth to his meal. This surely encouraged my little guy to eat. The family enjoyed his stay and he enjoyed them as well. Thank you, Brian and your family for being so accommodating, responsive, and flexible.”

“Renae was very flexible with my pick-up and drop-off times and is very knowledgeable! Rex had a great time playing with Renae's dogs and I could tell he really enjoyed his weekend. I also appreciated all the time she spent with him at the park!”

“I honestly can’t thank Kathleen enough for watching my baby! She sent pictures and videos throughout the weekend. I know my boy was loved. He played all weekend and was absolutely worn out after playing in Kathleen’s backyard all weekend. Aside from taking such great care of my boy, she was super flexible and understanding of my schedule. My plans had changed last minute and she ended up taking him a second night. We also got into town a little later than I thought and she was kind the entire time! Kathleen thank you so so much for making my weekend stress free and taking such amazing care of my fur baby!”

“Gave updates every day and took great care of my dog King while I was away. He has liver and ear issues and Balbina gave him ear drops and medicine every day. I felt comfortable leaving even though he was dealing with some medical issues.”

“Mera and her family took such great care of my dog! He looked so happy and cared for in every photo and video. He is a good judge of character and when I dropped him off after the initial meet and greet, he practically dragged me to the door because he couldn't wait to see Mera and her boys.”

“Thank you so much! This was my first time leaving Dallas with anyone who wasn’t family! Kathleen was happy to let me meet her prior to booking which helped ease my mind. Throughout his stay she kept me updated and sent me pictures! I am so so thankful!”

“This was our first time using a sitter for our 6 month Beagle/ Amstaff mix. Beatrice was great! Popper quickly relaxed and was comfortable. He had fun playing and going on walks. We were confident he was well cared for and she gave frequent updates and sent pictures. We were able to enjoy our time away without worrying. Would definitely use Beatrice again’”

“Katie and her family were so amazing with our baby dog. She’s like a totally different pup! She doesn’t get upset in the crate, her bitting has dramatically dropped, and she’s much more claim throughout the day. I cannot thank her enough for taking ivy in on short notice and letting her be apart of her family. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Renee is the BEST. I can’t believe I found her! I have three strange kitties in the middle of nowhere and I never thought I’d be able to find a pet sitter. She is so kind and likable and knowledgeable and sweet and so trustworthy. She did an amazing job going to my house twice a day to feed them and spend some time with them. I have one cat with health issues and Renee already knew how to administer his medication if he needed it. She is better than I could have imagined a pet sitter to be. I finally feel like I have a little freedom thanks to Renee!”

When I am watching someone’s pets for the first time, I request details about their schedule, eating and play habits, special quirks, etc so that I am prepared to give them consistent and attentive care.

Perfect for high energy dogs - Serena
“I absolutely love leaving my dog with Beyonka! My pup is always extremely happy when he goes to her place, and that gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s being well cared for. Every time I pick him up he smells delicious and looks so well-loved. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does. I 100% recommend her—she’s amazing!”

“Miriam was wonderful, absolutely wonderful with Katie, our terrier rescue. She let her sit on her lap while she worked. She had a raincoat, then a winter coat, on her when the weather got colder for her trips outdoors. She furnished these coats, I didn't bring any. A 3-page report card was given to me when I picked Katie up. It detailed her potty breaks and told cute little stories about their day together. I received numerous pics and videos that I thoroughly enjoyed. I met Terrell when I was leaving, and he seemed just as wonderful. I would give her 100 stars if I could.”

About: Love to have a furry companion on my walks and give them some time outside, I’ve had dogs my whole life big and small and always enjoy walking them. Me and my husband are working part time, and we love dogs, so we have plenty of free days to spend and take nice walks with your pup! Our house has a fenced in yard and we also have a few gates so the dogs can’t get to any places they shouldn’t be.
About: Animals in general should be loved and protected! I embrace all species and rescue anything in need. I do love animals more than people ;) I have plenty of time for animals in my life. I work 3 hours a day at my kiddos school otherwise I m home with my little guy and chickens. My yard is fenced but I do like taking walks and playing in the yard. I do some dog walking in the neighborhood but am accepting more!
About: I’ve been taking care of pets since childhood. First it was cats, then dogs, and I’m now a proud owner of a Quaker parrot. I’m willing to walk or pet sit dogs, help pet sit cats at their own home, and the same with exotic birds. Someone is always home with the pet and we also help you dog get socialized with our parrot. When I had dogs, I let them sleep on the bed with us. I also let them sit on the furniture, too. And I do spoil them, also. I work full time in the afternoon shift but my boyfriend works mornings so there is always someone home. He loves animals, too! I do my best to work around my schedule. Our bird Kerry only goes in his cage when we are both out of the house and at bedtime. Otherwise, we let him out. Kerry is used to dogs. He likes to talk to dogs.
“Yesenia was so great. I was in from out of town and I had a gap between when we needed to be out of the Airbnb and when the class I came for ended. I needed some place to take my dog for a few hours. She was conveniently near where I needed to be. She attentively asked about my dog’s needs (she’s dog-reactive and has anxiety) and provided a safe space for her to be. My dog felt so relaxed that she fell asleep while cuddling with her. Would highly recommend Yesenia’s services!”

About: I have both personal and practical experience caring for dogs. Raising my own poodle taught me patience, consistency, and how to meet a dog’s daily needs with love. On top of that, I’ve babysat multiple dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities, which helped me learn how to adjust to each dog’s unique temperament. I’m comfortable handling playful puppies that need extra attention and energy, as well as older dogs that require a gentler, more careful approach. No matter their age or personality, I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for as if they were my own. I am available in the mornings, which is a great time for walks, feeding, and playtime. In the evenings, I sometimes work, but I make sure to schedule pet care around my shifts so that every pet receives the attention and care they need. I am reliable and organized, and I prioritize making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well-cared-for while their owners are away. When caring for pets in my home, I create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where they can eat, play, rest, and get plenty of attention. I make sure routines—like feeding, walking, and playtime—are consistent to keep pets happy and secure. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions to maintain their pet’s usual routine. I ensure their home stays clean, their pets are fed on schedule, and they receive love, playtime, and any special care they need. I also provide updates to the owner, so they can feel confident their pet is safe and happy while they’re away.
About: I've been studying dog behavior for over 9 years. I also have experience as a veterinary receptionist and grooming assistant. I train pet dogs on good behavior as well as rehabilitation for fearful or aggressive dogs. Safety is my #1 concern. Every dog that comes into my home is treated like family, as I do my own dogs. I am blessed with a large house that has a separate living quarters for the boarding dogs and a big beautiful fenced yard. Both are kept clean and hazard free. I would love to host your dog and make sure you are worry free while you're away! I work with dogs as a career and am home full time. I have a daily routine that changes depending on what dogs I have. Each dog gets fed once or twice, a day depending on owner preference. For medical or dietary reasons feeding can me more or less frequent. Any medications needed will be given. Each dog gets back yard exercise daily. Of course they get plenty of love! 🐾 Saftey and cleanliness are my top concerns. My home is clean and hazard free. I am "puppy proof" and always vigilant. I have accommodations and experience working with aggressive or reactive dogs and can also accommodate/work with kennel anxitey. I am able to keep dogs separate from my personal dogs if needed. Dogs that are friendly will be able to socialize/play with my very well tempered pack, depending on owner preference. I have a fenced yard and there are no gaps or ways to get out. I can also accommodate jumpers using a long recall leash!
“Max had a wonderful time spending the day with Roger and his two dogs. Roger provided many pictures and a great summary of Max's time spent there. Highly recommend.”

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Serena
About: Hi there, my name is Sami! I've lived with dogs my whole life, big and small - some of which include a Golden Retriever, a Yorkie, and a Maltese. My sister occasionally comes over with her Goldendoodle, and I love spending time with my aunt's Bernese Mountain Dogs when I can visit them. I plan to adopt my own dog later in the future, and perhaps enroll them as a therapy dog to bring comfort to others. I've watched both my sister's and parents' dogs while they are away for the day, and I have some experience in caring for them when they were puppies. I used to walk my parents' dogs in the past, as well. I enjoy interacting with dogs as a whole, and I put their safety and comfort first. I'm an introvert who lives a quiet lifestyle, but I also love to have fun, so if your furry friend needs someone to hang out with while you're away, I'll be there for them! NOTE: Though I adore cats, I am unfortunately allergic and therefore cannot interact with them directly if you have any in your home. I can still feed or play with them via a cat teaser or laser pointer, but I cannot pet them or pick them up. :( Currently, I am working full-time at an elementary school in Minooka. However, school is out for the summer until August, so I will be manually updating my Rover schedule to provide some availability Monday through Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available during afternoons and evenings, though prior arrangements in advance can be made for a morning walk or drop-in visit! I will update my schedule as soon as anything changes. If you have any questions regarding my schedule for a particular day or week, please don’t hesitate to message me! IMPORTANT: As per Rover’s Terms of Service, please note that I cannot share private contact details or accept methods of payment outside of Rover. This is for the safety and security of all parties involved. When out on a walk, I will make sure your friend is kept safe and away from hazards or things they may be uncomfortable with. When dropping in for a visit, I will make sure their needs are met and everything is secured for their safety. They would never be left unsupervised, and they'll get lots of love and playtime! I will gladly send photos and text updates upon request. Please do let me know your communication frequency preferences, so I don't accidentally disturb you with messages!

“Kimberly was amazing with our crazy dog! We just moved and he was a bit anxious, but he loved her! She even offered to sew up one of the things he tore up in his kennel! She is so sweet and kept me informed on how my crazy little boy was doing while I was at work! I will definitely book her again!”

About: I have been caring for my rescued cat and dog for five years now. I have also informally provided pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family. I am a self-employed violin repairman by trade, and so my schedule is uniquely flexible - I am available to care for your pets on a moment’s notice! I am attentive and respectful of my clients’ homes, always sure to clean the dogs’ feet when we come in from outdoors, and am happy to assist with basic household chores such as garbage removal during pet care visits. I consider myself to be very responsible and orderly … let me know your pets’ rules and routines, and I’ll have no problem adhering to them!

New surroundings can be curious for dogs and the safety is my biggest priority.

About: My family has three big dogs, who I love and care for so much. I have many years of training, walking, dog sitting, and dog-loving experience. I am a full time student who has free time during school breaks, some mornings, and some weekends. Which allows me plenty of time, but never enough with my furry friends. I walk both of my dogs, together whenever I get the chance too. Your pet’s safety is my main priority, and then comes the fun! I love to be sure that my dogs live their lives to the fullest by walking them and allowing them to experie the outdoors as much as possible.

About: My passion for dogs has been with me since a very young age. As a child, my dream was to be a vet because of my passion and love for animals. I have 20 years of service, and my approach to caring for my dogs at home has always been holistic and natural. I've reversed my dog's diagnosed disease naturally and have saved his life naturally when vets have told me to put my dog to sleep. I'm thorough with my dogs’ routine, medication, diet, and cleaning eating. That makes me highly prepared for the dogs I tend to. Fun fact: My family and I own 17 pets! Usually, when everyone goes on a family trip, I'm the caregiver for all our pets at once. Hopefully, the background I give of my experience gives you peace in choosing me to watch your babies 🐩🐶🐕 I do freelance work; it's my main source of income. Therefore, it’s easy to create my own schedule and very flexible days and hours. It will be easier for you to book with me as I strive to work with your schedule and needs effortlessly. Personally, with my own dog, I'm highly attentive. Even though we have a backyard, I strongly believe in always being present and attentive when taking your dog out to potty. Even in your own backyard! Anytime they are outside, I will be present. I also think it’s important to interact and be present regularly with them; they need attention and love, too. I make sure to spend time with my dog when I come home and make time to play, cuddle, and show him affection . Also, it's important for me to take him out of the house. Even if it's a short walk, cruising in the car to pick up errands or food. It's important for them to explore and experience different environments.
About: I've been caring for animals for over 12 years, starting with my own dog, Lola. Since both of my parents worked, I was often responsible for feeding her, taking her on walks, playing with her, and making sure she was well cared for. That experience taught me responsibility from a young age and helped me develop a genuine love for animals. Since then, I've cared for pets for friends, family, and neighbors, including dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I am currently home for the summer, which means my availability is very flexible and I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. Once summer ends, I will be continuing my pilot training and taking online courses through Lewis University. Even then, my schedule will remain flexible, allowing me to continue providing reliable and attentive care for your pets. I have a fenced yard and one dog of my own, Phoebe, who is incredibly friendly and loves being around other dogs. She can play all day long and does a great job helping other dogs feel comfortable in a new environment! If your pet will be staying in my home, I would be more than happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand so they can get to know Phoebe and make sure everyone is a good fit. Your pet's safety and well being are always my top priorities, and I will follow any routines or instructions you provide to help them feel right at home!

About: I recently lost my soul dog, Wilson. He was a 14 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is in the picture with me. I have a second Cavalier named Auggie. I worked with Wilson to become a certified therapy dog. He retired when he was 10. When he was around 9 he became deaf. Therefore, I have years of experience with a deaf dog. We have a bulldog, a golden retriever, a boxer, a lab, and several mixed breed rescues in our family! I have decided to offer my services on Rover to help fill a void after losing my beloved Wilson. I look forward to loving your dog as my own! I work full-time but am home on weekends and have extended breaks in my work when I am home. My home is set up for animals but I am also willing to provide services in your home. For care in my home, I have a large yard in a park-like setting. My house is set up for pets with limited carpet, doggie steps to lay on a comfy couch, windows to watch squirrels and keep an eye on the mailman. I am also available to love your pets in your home.

About: My pet care experience consists of having a dog throughout my childhood and adult years. I've always loved the companionship of owning a dog and also visiting or babysitting families and friends' dogs/cats. With having a dog comes a lot of responsibility and attention whether that's feeding, letting outside, physical activity, and training. I'm experienced in all of those qualities. The pet care that I will be using through the new dogs and cats I meet are the basics of giving treats, going for walks, and playing fetch or ball. Those basics are important and useful for dog caregivers because any dog would love the attention and care that you are giving them unconditionally. I'm also experienced in grooming with bathing the pet if needed. Whether that's outside with a hose and soap or inside in a bathtub. Dogs are my best friends and should be treated with love and companionship therefore I would treat the dog and make sure they are happy and comfortable but also safe and calm at all times. My schedule is very flexible and in the case of babysitting or walking a dog, I will be attentive and responsible. Since I currently have a dog at home I take her outside frequently, stay outside with her and walk around the backyard or throw a toy and play fetch or even just sit in the grass and give her belly rubs. My daily routine consists of letting my dog outside and hanging out with her off and on while also letting her have time to rest and chill by herself. My weekly routine is the same as my daily routine aside from additional car rides, pup cups, or cousin visits with other dogs. The safety, trust & Environment of the care for the pet in my home and or my client's home will consist of making sure all doors are shut when entering and exiting the home or garage. Also making sure the dog is on a leash and well equipped when walking through a neighborhood. I also have a fenced-in yard so I'm experienced with fences and the proper precautions if needed. I can easily create your dog too if needed. Also water supply and refilling the water bowl as needed and giving supplements or medicine also. Also will have the clients contact information in case of emergency.

“Leslie did a great job with my Marley. Marley is a very anxious dog and he had a blast with Leslie. I will leave for my work trip in a couple weeks knowing that he is in good hands and being well cared for! 🤍”

“Ashley was amazing!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!! My little June had an amazing time!! She took her to play with other dogs, kept up with her puppy trading for us, and send pictures and videos every day!!”

“Sonja was an excellent caregiver to our 2 12 week Bernie doodle puppies. We were nervous leaving them with anyone but she was very kind and reassuring. We provide excellent communication for drop off and pick up and sent daily messages and pics of them having fun and being loved just like if they were at home. She is a true animal lover and treated our babies as her own. We would not hesitate to call her again when needed. She deserves all 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Rachel was great with Kimble. He’s a big dog (160 lb English mastiff) and she took great care of him. It was so nice to be able to enjoy our vacation knowing that he was getting great care and was getting loved the way we would. We definitely will be using her again.”

“Alyssa was amazing!! My pup felt super comfortable the moment she walked into the house. Alyssa was conscientious throughout, with consistent communication and updates. My dog came home happy and tired :)”
