She even kept him safe and calm during a long tornado warning, which gave us so much peace of mind. Her fenced yard was perfect for helping him burn off energy, and she went above and beyond by teaching him how to play fetch—and even a little soccer! We also really appreciated the daily updates and photos, especially since we missed him a lot while we were away. About: I worked at Bark University, a doggy daycare and groomer in Mundelein. I am also a Biology major at the University of Whitewater Wisconsin, where I plan to become an animal Rehabber and caretaker. I myself own two dogs currently, and one other in the past. About: I just graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in Pre-Veterinary Science. I have grown up with pets and taken care of them for years! I am now retired so I can spoil your fur baby 24/7. I have experience with my "nephew" a very large male german shepard all the way down to my soul dog, 8 lb Ellie Mae and everything in between. Multiple dogs is not an issue either. I have watched up to three dogs all with different schedules and needs. I will also leave your house as clean if not cleaner than when you left. I’m Wing, and I’m an experienced dog caregiver who genuinely loves getting to know each dog’s individual personality, quirks, and needs. 🐶 I had my own dog for 7 years—a large, active, highly reactive dog—and was responsible for his day-to-day care as well as working with him on training and behavior. That experience taught me a lot about patience, consistency, reading canine body language, and helping dogs feel safe and comfortable in situations that can be challenging for them. I also grew up caring for a small, high-energy family dog and have spent years caring for friends’ and family members’ dogs, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of sizes, energy levels, and personalities. I especially enjoy active dogs who need a good walk, play session, or some extra stimulation, but I’m equally happy to provide a slower-paced outing for dogs who prefer to sniff and explore at their own speed. I’m responsible, attentive, and very respectful of each dog’s routine and boundaries. Whether your dog is social and adventurous, shy and cautious, or a little more complicated, I’ll take the time to understand what makes them comfortable rather than assuming every dog needs the same approach. I’d love to help give your pup some exercise, enrichment, companionship, and plenty of attention while you’re away! 🐾 My primary job is working with adults and children with special needs, and I have some afternoon and weekend availability that gives me the perfect opportunity to provide dogs with some extra exercise, enrichment, and companionship. I care for pets by following their usual routines and taking the time to understand their individual needs and preferences. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime, medication administration, and other care as needed. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep your pet’s safety and comfort as my priority, and send updates along the way so you know how things are going. I’m also happy to accommodate pets who need a little extra patience, structure, or attention.

“Deidre was AMAZING with my with two pups and can’t RECOMMEND her enough! Unfortunately, one of my dogs became very ill before I left for vacation and required extensive, round the clock care. Deirdre was able to administer all of the medications, stick to the strict food regimen, come by every 2 hours to check in, and even cleaned up all of the accidents from my sick pup. :/ She kept me updated throughout the trip with texts and pictures, asked questions when needed, and when my other dog sitter fell through at last minute, she was able to rearrange her schedule to cover. Overall, I am very grateful for her help and it truly put my mind at ease knowing Deirdre could be there to take care of them! Thank you again!”

I currently have a 3-year-old Papillon, and I previously cared for a dog who lived to be 14 years old, so I'm familiar with the needs of both energetic young dogs and senior dogs. About: I have been caring for dogs almost as long as I have been alive! I am available in the afternoons during the week, and anytime on the weekends. I can care for your dog as little as a short home visit, or a nice outing at the park. Your dog’s safety is a MUST in my book and always my first priority. Anything that could possibly put your dog in harms-way will not be tolerated. When it comes to long stays away from your dog, I highly encourage communication in any shape or form.
