“With Covid it has been a lone time since we have traveled and boarded Charlie. I was concerned that he would have a difficult time adjusting. Sandy welcomed us into her home and with the 2 other dogs she was watching Charlie was somewhat hesitant. Sandy took his leash and I exited. During our week away Sandy supplied photos and updates to keep us informed. With Christmas he did come home with a few toys. I recommend using Sandy and planning on using her in near future.”

When we picked Tipper up she had all her things packed up and ready to go. We appreciated that because we were tired from our trip. We were also pleased that Tipper was tired too. About: Nestled on 6 acres of wooded land, my country home is the perfect place for a pup of any age to play, relax and explore while you're away! After starting my career as a pet groomer, I started working at a boarding facility where I fell in love with pet care! Watching dogs interact and play, running around outside and the carefree and happy faces of all the pups ignited my passion. After four years at the boarding facility, my family and I moved to Colorado for a new job opportunity, where my love of dogs drove me to work at an animal shelter. I gained much insight and knowledge from my time there, including vet care and training, but ultimately knew that wasn't where I was meant to be. After covid hit, my family moved back to Wiscosnin, and in 2022 bought our dream home! I am so excited to welcome your furbabies into my home and give them all the love and care they could possibly need while they are with me. Whether it's exploring the land, cuddling on the couch, or catching up on some grooming, I am happy to provide anything and everything I can to make your pup love staying with me as much as their own home! Important note: Summer is my busy season, so during the months of June-August I will not be requiring a meet and greet as long as your dog has been boarded before and gets along well with other dogs. If you would still like a meet and greet, I would be happy to schedule one with you, but please be patient in scheduling as it is a busy time. Thank you! Boarding is my fulltime job so I am home every day to care for the animals. Pickup and drop off hours are from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Every day is a new adventure! From walks to pool time in the yard, snuggles on the couch or bed and fun holiday activies, your pup will be on their own little vacation while you're away. Safety is always my top concern. While your dogs are with me they will never be left unsupervised; in the case of having to leave for a doctor's appointment etc. they will be crated. I have a fenced in yard with locks on it, so there is no chance of a dog slipping through or opening the gate. I am also trained on signals and body language to prevent dog fights or injuries.

About: My background is in social work and I am the oldest of four kids. Growing up we always had a golden retriever as a member of our family. This last August our family said goodbye to our sweet angel, Marley. I now have a little family of my own, and my son is eager to have a furry friend around. About: I’m a guy who falls in love with dogs instantly. Don’t want them back? No worries! Dogs instantly want to be my best friend and I’ve never met a dog that I didn’t like or that didn’t like me. I work from home. My dogs are part of the family. I would take care of your dogs as if they were my own children. I have a doggy door and outside kennel for the dogs to use as needed. I’m also happy to take dogs on a walk and my wife is a super dog walker. We have two dogs-a Pomeranian who is all love and a lab who’s an old girl but who is the best dog you’ll ever meet. About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. I grew up with dogs and now enjoy my own dog and watching my kiddos create their own memories with our dog Jack. We enjoy the outdoors and go on a lot of walks and hikes with Jack. I am a teacher looking for a side hustle after 3pm on weekdays and full availability on weekends and Summer. I live in Lake Geneva and work in Elkhorn, so I am available there and surrounding areas within reason. I have two dog loving, energetic kids, a husband and a rescue pup named Jack. We all do well with dogs! ;) We live in a quiet, safe neighborhood with plenty of places to walk. We also have a nice yard to play in along with an endless supply of hugs and treats.

When we picked Tipper up she had all her things packed up and ready to go. We appreciated that because we were tired from our trip. We were also pleased that Tipper was tired too. This tells us she was given lots of attention and activity during her stay at Joanne’s. Tipper spent the afternoon and evening napping as we did too. We have already mentioned to Joanne that we’d like to use her again this summer. We highly recommend her as a great dog sitter!”
