“We have never felt so comfortable boarding any of our dogs as we have with Gloria and Mark. They treat your dog like family, and they give the best one on one attention that I have ever seen. They send pictures, have a wonderful set up for your dog with toys and treats, lounging and sleeping arrangements, and even neighbors who will come by and say hi. I cannot fully express just how amazing the experience is. Thank you so much for your kindness to us and to Summer.”

“Thank you, Aratrika and Arjun, for taking great care of Chewie, being willing to do a meet and greet, and sending so many great updates and pictures! Chewie seems happy after his weekend with you :)”

“Meghan took care of our dog while we are traveling over the holidays. When we had a family emergency come up and couldn't get back, she kindly offered to continue looking after him. We appreciate knowing that our dog is well taken care of in a difficult time. Will definitely book again.”

“Sarah was a great companion for my furbaby while I was away! She was very communicative throughout the duration of the boarding service, and I felt comfortable and at ease with having my dog in her care.”

“Rae is an experienced and caring sitter, and we are very happy that Ginger could stay with her. And she had a good time. Rae sent us pictures of Ginger with messages on how she was doing. It is a relief that we can leave Ginger in such capable and affectionate hands when we need to. And I am sure Ginger enjoyed the massage that she got from Rae's daughter. Thank you!”

“Caitlin has so much patience and compassion with dogs! Our Lucy has stayed with her twice now. Most recently Lucy had been sick and still wasn’t feeling well when we took her over. Caitlin was able to get Lucy to start eating well again and encouraged her to interact with the other dogs. Caitlin is extremely organized and sends photos and texts regularly. She and her family seemed to enjoy cuddling with Lucy. We’ll definitely use Caitlin the next time we travel.”

“Ginger looked like she felt right at home at Katherine's. Katherine is very caring, capable and understanding. And I was very comfortable leaving Ginger in her charge. Thank you, Katherine!”

“China was amazing. This was the first time I’ve booked a sitter on rover and she did her best to alleviate all my worries. My pup is super anxious and she did her best to help her eat her food and gave her all the time she needed to potty and do her business. She also gave my pup her meds which isn’t always easy! As long as she is available I will always go to China she’s awesome.”

“Hannah is amazing! She’s very flexible and accommodating, and always keeps me updated on Nikko with pictures. She’s trustworthy and caring. My epileptic dog had a seizure while staying with her, but she handled it calmly—administering his intranasal midazolam and giving his scheduled medications on time. I would definitely book with Hannah again!”

“We were very happy to board with Lainey. Communication was great, and we really felt like Summer was well cared for. She got a lot of attention and was able to play with friends, which we couldn’t be happier about. Thank you so much!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5 years old. I have experience giving dogs pills, being consistent with training processes, and with senior dog care. I have also taken care of cats. I’m able to take care of dogs and cats in the mornings and evenings during the week and all day on weekends and holidays. I am a homebody so once I get done with work during the day, I am not leaving and play with my animals. I have a fenced in yard with a very friendly dog and cat. If needed, I have a room where I can separate my cat from other dogs to allow non-cat friendly dogs to stay. This room has his food, water, bed, toys, and litter box, while also being one I spend a large amount of time in so he is not lonely. My dog is fed once in the morning and is allowed to eat when he wants to and he runs outside in the backyard when he feels like it. I do adjust how often he gets fed and if he is free feeding when other animals are present. In clients' homes, I follow feeding and care instructions.

I’m currently working from home. This allows me a lot of time with my dog and other dogs potentially. I set my own hours so I am able to care for the pet when needed Sticking to a routine, ensuring adequate food and fresh water is provided. Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring it is a safe culture. The dogs will be cared for

“Emma was amazing! She took care of my cat so well. This was my first time leaving her alone and she made me feel so much better. She was so communicative and kind and I feel so grateful to have found her.”

“Excellent first Rover experience! We were a little apprehensive to leave our girls, especially our older cat Blackberry with medical conditions, with someone through a website, but we were extremely pleased with the quality-of-care (and cute photos!) Michelle provided. Our directions were followed exactly and all three of our girls very happy and healthy when we returned. We would absolutely book with them again!”

“David takes the time to provide for Roxy’s physical needs but also provides plenty of cuddles and playtime for her. We really appreciate his dependability and sensitivity to her needs while we are away.”

“Kyra was amazing with my kitties! I really liked that she took the time to come meet with us beforehand to get a sense of their routine. I also loved that she sent photos and comments each day. She spent time with them, cuddled, and played with them every day. It wasn’t just a feed/pooperscoop situation, Kyra really had quality time with them. I even got some awesome action photos of them playing :). It made me feel good every day that my girls were well cared for. When I returned, they weren’t starved for attention or anything, so I know they liked Kyra too! I will definitely ask Kyra to care for the girls again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a stellar cat sitter!”

“I truly appreciated Katie to take care of my kitties when I was away. She loves my cats and my cats love her. They get along well at greet- meet section to understand my cats' habbits. I highly recommend Katie for taking care of your lovely pets when you are away. Thank you so much, Katie. Thank for the kitties' portraits in my kitchen. You are gifted and talented with arts and caring pets. Wish you all the best.”

About: I have two friendly cats and backyard chickens. I have had cats and dogs for most of my life. I go trail hiking at local forest preserves and state parks 2-4 times a week and would love to take your dog with me! I only have one dog guest at a time (unless they are from the same home) so I can give them lots of care and attention and provide you with regular updates and photos. You will know your pet is being well looked after. My goal is to make your pet feel like it is on a fun vacation while you are on a fun vacation. Nothing makes me happier than dogs I've cared before, coming back and pulling on their leash to come into my house on their next visit! I only work half-time so I have plenty of time for pets. I know how important your pet is to you and I'm very responsible. My dog guests are walked at least three times a day including a walk or hike of 30 minutes or longer. They are also able to use my fenced in backyard when the chickens are locked up for the night .

“Carli did another great job with our dogs and cat while we were on a weekend trip! She made sure to give them plenty of time to run and play with every visit, and they love her company. She continues to be our go-to!”

“Xiaotong was absolutely wonderful! My kitties were loved on and well taken care of, and she is great at communicating! Will definitely be looking to rebook next time I leave town.”

I treat as if they were my own with the love and respect they deserve.
“I could not have asked for a better sitter!! We were worried to leave our cat as he had been throwing up every time a friend would pop in on him and feed him and he seemed right at home with Melissa and didn't stress puke! Got pictures and text updates and felt so reassured leaving him with her while we were gone!! We can’t recommend her enough!”

“Kylie is amazing!! This is our second time booking with her and we will definitely use her again! She even went an extra visit cause we have some naughty cats which we were so so grateful for!”

“She was very kind and very accommodating! I was having surgery that day. The time I was going to be let out of the hospital depended on things going as planned. She fine with my being later than I had planned. My brother, who wasn’t so sure about leaving “our” Charlie with someone he didn’t know, picked Charlie up for me and was very pleased with Aratrika and the way she treated our little girl!!! I will definitely be bringing Charlie to Aratrika whenever I need a sitter. Thank you so much taking such good care of my little one!”

“Annadel and Jose were fantastic again! They accepted our request with short notice and gave our pup extra TLC. When we picked him up, he was in great spirits. They are fantastic caregivers!”

“Feiran and her human and dog family welcomed Mario as one of their own. He was obviously comfortable (isn’t always the case), came home tired, and we received photos and videos to allay our nerves about being at a brand new place. We’d 100% book again. Thanks guys!!!”

“Sarah took great care of our dog while we were visiting our son. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Luna had fun with Sarah and her puppy. We’d love to book her services again for our future visits to Urbana.”

About: I adopted Hanson, a retired guide dog, and he’s now an angel in heaven. He showed me how deep the bond with a dog can be and is the reason I started caring for pets. Over the years, I’ve looked after many dogs for friends and family. I give them lots of love and attention, and every pet I’ve cared for has grown really close to me. I treat each one like they’re my own. Pet care is part of my everyday life. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just spending quality time with them, caring for animals is something I naturally make time for. It’s not just a task—it’s something I truly enjoy and look forward to each day. I live alone, so pets get my full attention and a quiet, calm space to relax in. I make sure they feel safe and comfortable—whether that’s sticking to their routine, giving lots of playtime and cuddles, or just being nearby so they don’t feel alone. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow any instructions closely to keep things familiar for their pet.

“Caitlin is AMAZING!!!! She went above and beyond to make sure our shy 4 mo old pup felt welcome and loved in her home! She took him on multiple walks while he was there and even had him on a walk right before we arrived so he would have pottied when we got there for our drive home!!! She sent me so many pictures throughout the day of all the fun things he was doing and cuddles he was receiving! She was so thorough on pup’s report card letting us know how many times he went potty, when he ate, and how long the walks were! I could go on and on about how amazing she is! I would leave my pup with her in a heart beat and we will be going back!!!! Thank you Caitlin! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Emilee (and her family) are the absolute best! Thomas always has the best time and comes back so happy! Because I know he’s enjoying his time with Emilee, I’m able to enjoy mine.”

I am currently available Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm for drop off & pick up. weekends vary depending on pervious commitments so please ask if you need care on the weekends! About: Animals are my passion and caring for them is my kind of fun! The quality of care and love I provide is reflected in my pricing. I have cared for family, friends and my own pets since 2009 - feeding, watering, training and administering medication. I worked for The Animal Hospital of Monticello from December 2021-September 2023 where I cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, at many different age and health levels. I am familiar with animal first aid and am regularly educating myself on medical concerns/treatments because health is my #1 priority. I also love to learn about animal behavior (of all sorts-I'm very nerdy), enrichment and training because I believe a mentally and physically happy animal is a healthy one. I also have experience caring for exotic animals including guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, and lizards. I am happy to learn the needs of whatever baby I am caring for! I will not board any exotic animal or cats for their safety, but I'm more than happy to provide stop ins! ***If I do not believe I can care for your pet properly for whatever reason, I may have connections to those who do have the ability and I will be happy to help you find a new care giver.*** I am currently caring for two dogs from my home three times a week M,T, Th. They train, play, eat and snuggle with me all day. I also have a twelve year old, so If we humans have errands, vacations or an emergency-I let the pet parents know as far in advance as possible. I have two very friendly Australian Shepherd type dogs, an 12 year old human child, a husband and a cat of my own. (Somehow we all get along!) Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

About: I bring years of hands-on animal care experience from veterinary clinics, kennels, and long-term pet sitting, including special-needs care for a senior dog who requires diapers, hourly potty breaks, medication management, and a strict diet. My background in veterinary support and my 5-year commitment to caring for three dogs from one family means I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and fully comfortable supporting pets with complex routines. I treat every animal with patience, confidence, and genuine love, giving owners peace of mind while they’re away. About: I love all animals and I have pets ranging from reptiles to cats and dogs. I have experience working with fearful pets and pets with aggression issues. During my time working in animal shelters and veterinary clinics, I handled and worked with pets of all different temperaments and training levels. Please let me know if there’s anything you are working with your pet on (jumping, mouthing, frustrated leash tugging, pulling, etc) and how you would like to have me work with them if that happens. I am comfortable medicating and caring for all of your pets needs as I am a certified veterinary technologist with an Associate in veterinary technology and Bachelors in animal sciences with a concentration of companion animals. My love for animal care started when I began volunteering at animal shelters and horse stables in middle school. It has continued to grow into a passion and career. I have been working in veterinary toxicology since 2017. I have a special interest in animal behavior and training. I have worked through my own dog’s stranger aggression, and reactivity to dogs and people. With lots of consistency and training, she was able to get her AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate. I am currently working with an adult foster dog that came from a neglectful and abusive household. Right now I am teaching him how to ‘dog’ and basic manners. I work Monday to Friday but usually have a flexible schedule for drop ins and I’m available after work. I am open to coming to stay for house sittings during the week and working from your home when I can. Saturday to Sunday I have open availability. I will treat your home as I would want others to treat mine. I will keep your home tidy and clean up what I can so when you come home you can relax! Thorough details of how you want your pet and home to be cared for is always welcomed! I have a lot of plants so I don’t mind helping with any house plant care. For any overnight stays, please let me know what appliances I can or cannot use, where you would like for me to stay, etc. House sitting can be a tricky topic since the needs can vary so much between individuals. My house sitting base rate includes an overnight care (can adjust hours depending on your pet’s routine & this includes all potty breaks, snuggles, enrichment, etc while I’m in the home), midday potty break, meals, and one focused walk/exercise session (example: before dinner). If your pets need more exercise, care, or attention, this is not a problem! We can discuss additional drop ins and walks as needed and I can adjust the fees as appropriate.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters? I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether it’s a slow walk for an older pup or high-energy playtime for a young one, I meet animals where they are. I have two dogs of my own—Theo and Sage—so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. Beyond personal experience, I have a BA in animal science and I’m currently in the process of earning my master’s degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication, with a focus on companion animals. I also work as an assistant educator, so I bring a calm, thoughtful approach to every visit. I’m confident administering medications, caring for nervous or senior pets, and yes—I genuinely don’t mind deep-cleaning litter boxes. I treat every animal like family, with patience, care, and a whole lot of love I’m currently working full time until 3pm. However Whether it’s morning walks, meal times, or evening play sessions, I’m used to planning my day around pets’ needs. I live in a three-story townhouse with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable—whether they want to play or have their own quiet area. My own dogs are friendly, but I can easily keep pets separate if needed. I also have some dog training experience, so I’m confident handling different temperaments and routines. Your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for here or in your home! I do ask that your pet be crate trained and doesn't bark in the crate since I do live very close to neighbors.
About: Hi! I’m Bailey — I’ve worked in the vet field my entire career and am studying to become a veterinarian. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters and love all animals! With my experience and care, your pets will be in great hands for pet sitting. I am currently only working part time and have tons of time on my hands my main focus will be caring for pets and college! I have three cats and a snake myself, I have grown up with dogs, cats, reptiles, you name it. Caring for pets will always be my priority!
About: One of my earliest memories was at the age of five. My mom brought my sister home from the hospital after she was born and I asked, "Can we have a kitten instead?!" Our parents started us with goldfish like most do. We then graduated to hamsters, followed by kittens. Currently, I have two dogs of my own that I consider to be my fur babies. Our pets can be much like our children, so I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to provide the care your animals need. My experience with animals comes from having my own as well as taking care of friends and family members pets as well. I love animals so much, I paint them on canvas as another passion of mine. I am looking forward to caring for your pet and providing whatever special needs they may have in order to make you and your animal feel comfortable while you are away. I work from home as an Artist so my schedule is flexible in between appointments outside of the home. I am unavailable Tuesday nights after 5pm. Looking forward to do whatever I need to stick to your pet's routine to keep them stress free, happy and healthy. Whether they enjoy long walks, active play or just snuggles and pets I would love to accommodate whatever their needs may be.
About: I have 4 dogs that I’ve owned for 5 years now. I adopted two of them as puppies, so I potty trained them and taught them how to sit, lay down, walk off-leash, etc. I adopted my other two as adults, but I did train them how to walk off-leash as well. I care for them every single day, which includes feeding them on the same schedule every day, walking them, playing with them, bathing them when needed, taking them to the vet when needed, cleaning up after them to ensure a healthy and clean environment for them. I’m currently a college student who is out of school for the summer, so I am available 7 days a week at all hours of the day! In my client’s home, I will complete any task they ask of me in the way they ask to do it, as I completely understand that certain dogs need certain routines and strategies. I respect my client’s homes and the way they operate their home lives, and will do all I can to ensure their pets are happy and healthy.
About: I’ve taken care of pets for family and friends since I was a child, from just popping in to let them out to staying with them for weeks at a time. I have experience with some cats, puppies, and senior dogs, and have had my own dogs my whole life. I’m available for walks, daytime care, and overnight care, and can’t wait to meet your pets! I work part-time, so I will have time to play with, walk, and babysit your pets as needed! I am available for both week day and weekend care. In clients’ homes, I do my best to make sure your pet feels safe and sound with someone beside their family. I can easily stick to routines to ensure your pet stays on their regular schedule. I also keep houses clean and tidy, just how you left them. I’ll play with and get to know your pet to care for them like they’re my own!
About: With over 6 years of experience working in an animal hospital as a veterinary assistant, I have a strong background in animal care, behavior, and health. I am comfortable caring for pets with medical needs, giving medications, and noticing early signs of illness or stress. I am a pre veterinary student at the University of Illinois and plan to attend veterinary school, so caring for animals is truly my passion and future career. I love getting to know each pet and providing attentive, reliable care so pet parents can feel confident and at ease while they are away. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I am currently a college student on winter break, which means I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. I enjoy building my days around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs, and I make sure each pet gets my full attention. Even during the school year, caring for animals is something I prioritize, so I am reliable, organized, and consistent with every visit. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or my client’s, I always aim to create a safe, stress-free, and loving environment. I maintain routines for feeding, walks, and medications, and can accommodate special needs or medical conditions. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their routines and environment to keep things familiar and comfortable. I provide updates, follow instructions closely, and treat every pet as if they were my own.

About: My goal in life is to be your pets newest best friend. I have had experience with my very vocal and fat beagle that is 6. As well as a retired belgian malinois bomb dog that is 10. I can play fetch for hours, play games, or sit and cuddle a coach potato. I can be at your door anytime I do not have class at my flight school! I work part time at a coffee shop but my hours are very low because of school. I would really like pet sitting to be my job instead as I transition into this. I am attending a flight school to become a pilot. I am there just for a few hours a day through the week. But any chance I get I will pet sit! Since having experience with dogs and cats. I understand I am a visitor in THEIR home. I will make sure I do not intrude and make each visit a positive time. Walking, crating, potty breaks, a good cuddle and pet are all things I will do 100%. I also am at deep cleaning typical litter boxes, and can clean crates as well. If you have a fenced in yard I will play for hours. I love to walk dogs as long as they can be walked safely! Cats are pretty independent but I would love to come pay them attention!

“Meghan took care of our dog while we are traveling over the holidays. When we had a family emergency come up and couldn't get back, she kindly offered to continue looking after him. We appreciate knowing that our dog is well taken care of in a difficult time. Will definitely book again.”

Thank you!”

“Ginger looked like she felt right at home at Katherine's. Katherine is very caring, capable and understanding. And I was very comfortable leaving Ginger in her charge. Thank you, Katherine!”

“Rachel is a professional. She was great with Noodles and Noodles made herself right at home. Henry, her 17yo cat, was gracious enough to share his home for the weekend. Thank you Rachel.”

“Marissa was fabulous, so sweet, and did a great job taking care of my dog Gus. Communication was great and she sent me updates and pictures while I was away. I highly recommend using Marissa and will definitely rebook for my next trip.”

“Jaida was very good with Rocco and I loved that he had other dogs to play with. She kept me posted on how Rocco was doing and was responsive when I reached out. I would definitely book with Jaida again!”

“This was our second time boarding with Brittany, and we will be back! She takes the best pictures and gives us daily updates, and our pup was SO excited to see her when we dropped her off!”

“Shaliyah and Ajanya were AMAZING care providers for our Sugar. He is a young, energetic, sweet dog and I wanted to make sure he was in good hands while we were out of town for a few days. They arranged a meet and greet at a nearby park. Both Shaliyah and Ajanya were kind and patient, yet firm with Sugar when needed. They maintained communication with us throughout his stay, sending updates with pictures and videos. They fed him, played with him, cuddled him, even practiced some commands with him and treated him like part of the family. Sugar was able to make some new doggie buddies, which I had been hoping for. He enjoyed time with their lovelies, Snipper and Ava. I highly recommend Shaliyah and Ajanya as your next boarder/sitter team!”
