“Words cannot even come close to describing Barbara!! She is everything I could ever ask for in someone I trust to leave my baby with! Paisley is a rescue dog and usually experiences high anxiety when I am not around. Barbara loved her like her own and the smile on my girls face when I saw her and how HAPPY she was warmed my heart. So blessed to have found and made a friend in Barbara!”

“Great family who you can tell from the start love their dogs and love any dog that comes into their house. Both of their dogs are well behaved and allow your dog time to get used to being in new environment. They have a large fenced back yard that I know my toy Aussie just loved playing ball in. Already booked our next stay!”

“Anna-Lena is the person you can absolutely feel safe and comfortable having your best friend stay with her! She was incredibly helpful with watching over my dog by having great communication, greeting the dogs and keeping me up to date with pictures and little notes on the stay! I know my dog enjoyed herself and I was able to enjoy myself knowing my dog was with someone that takes safety, security, and also fun into staying with her! She will always be my first choice whenever help is needed again!”

I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pup attention throughout the day! I’m available for both doggy daycare and overnight boarding, including weekdays and weekends. About: I have over 30 years of experience with loving and caring for animals. What sets me apart is that I’m not trying to make your pet fit into my routine. I’m happy to work around theirs. I know every pet has their own personality, quirks, and comfort level, and I want them to feel safe and relaxed while they’re away from home. Your pet will be cared for in our home, with a large fenced-in yard, plenty of attention, and a family who genuinely loves animals. I’m also comfortable following specific routines, feeding instructions, medications, crating, or other care preferences you have for your pet. I think one of the biggest things I offer is peace of mind. I’ll treat your pet like a guest in our home, not just another booking. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the day. I can accommodate your pet’s normal routine, including feeding times, walks, playtime, medications, and potty breaks. My goal is to make sure your pet receives consistent care and attention while you’re away. When your pets stay with me, they’re not just being boarded, they’re staying in our home and becoming part of the family while you’re away! I provide a safe, comfortable, and low-stress environment where your pets can stick to their normal routine and get plenty of love and attention. I’ll follow your care instructions, schedule, and any special needs to make their stay as easy and familiar as possible. We have a large, fenced-in yard where dogs can safely get outside and enjoy some playtime and fresh air. I also have teenagers who absolutely love animals, so your pets will have plenty of extra attention and affection (if they’re interested in it, of course! 😂). I also have a gated kitchen area that can be used if you prefer your dog to be safely contained while we’re away. If your dog is crate-trained and you’d rather they be crated when we leave, I’m happy to follow that routine as well. Your pet’s comfort and your preferences come first. I know leaving your pets with someone else can be stressful, so I want you to feel confident that they’re in a safe, loving home. I’ll treat your pets the same way I’d want someone to treat mine, with lots of love, patience, attention, and care. 🐶🐱❤️

“Carol was so kind and warm and my sweet Daphne felt very at home with her and Shorty while we traveled. I appreciated that she did a meet and greet beforehand and that she sent photo updates while we were away. When our return flights were delayed, Carol was gracious and flexible about the extra time. I feel lucky to have found such a great person and petsitter.”

“We used Kara and her family for a 2 day overnight stay. We have nothing but the best to say about Kara and her sweet family. Our 5 month old puppy enjoyed his time there and we will definitely use them again!!!”

“Maleah was so kind and communicative throughout her time watching my three dogs. They are very large animals and a little crazy, but she was even able to take them for walks and play with them each day. I really appreciated the report cards she sent each day with several photos of each dog. Thanks so much for everything!”

“Sierra did a great job dealing with my antisocial Sunny. She's a one person cat. When I got back she was mad at me but well fed and healthy. I appreciate the way Sierra followed my instructions.”

“We had a good first experience with Emilie as Poppy’s sitter. Poppy seemed to do well during her stay, and we appreciated receiving photo updates while we were away. Communication was smooth throughout, and we didn’t have any complaints. We would be more than comfortable booking with Emilie again in the future.”

About: *The prices you see on my account are negotiable! I enjoy helping others and believe in just paying what you can!* I have been an animal owner my whole life. About 5 years ago I started animal sitting and house sitting for people I know and am now wanting to reach out further! Since I am unable to have a million of my own animals I love to care for other peoples babies like they are my own! I really enjoy making a special connection with animals and learning their quirks :) I have never had a problem while sitting, and I am positive when the time comes I can work through what is thrown at me. I am capable correctly administering meds to animals in need and adhering to a strict diet and feeding plan. I work full time (3 Days a week) at a hospital as a PCT. I generally work every other day MWF so I will be home quite a bit. In the past my boyfriend (who is a HUGEE animal lover) has also stayed and helped care for animals with me, he gets off work earlier than me so he generally helps with potty breaks and play time. On the days I am off I like to go on walks before the heat kicks up for the day and after dinner around 7pm when it cools down. I generally only care for clients animals in their own home to keep the pet feeling safe and leading to a more trustworthy relationship. There has been many times after the pet and I have gotten comfortable that we go on car rides to my home or out to watch little kid baseball games. I have taken dogs to day care to get some extra enrichment with their doggie friends as well.

About: Hi! I'm Jenna. The "Me every time I see a dog. Do you share this reaction?" meme with Andy from Parks & Recreation is literally me every time I see a dog. I LOVE dogs, cats, sloths, sea otters and pretty much all animals in general. I have a huge heart and SO much love to give! I am very energetic, bubbly, and outgoing...I would love to meet some doggies (and maybe some humans in the process too) and give them some lovins' and exercise :) I work part time and my schedule is pretty flexible. I would love to walk your pups or play with them outside of my job. I am available for house sitting dogs and cats. I’m generally available in mornings or afternoons around 4 pm. Since I do work a variety of jobs I just need a days notice but I can usually work around your schedule for the most part! I have experience pet sitting in the home and have done jobs where pet parents are out of town for the weekends or for work trips and I am happy to watch the house as well. I have a kitty cat so I wouldn’t be able to fully board but I’m able to take your doggo on walks, to the park, to a patio, etc etc. I can watch the dog at my house in the backyard but wouldn’t be able to take them inside the home.
About: I have had dogs and loved them my entire life. I grew up with Rottweilers and St Benards so the big ones definitely have my heart. I currently have two Border Collie X Australian Shepherd mixes that are incredibly friendly and smart. I started my pet professional career out in 2012 as a kennel technician at the Clinton Humane Society. I have worked for two different vet clinics as a vet technician giving medications, doing ivs, doing wound care, and being apart of surgery staff. I do some special handling dog training for anxious and semi aggressive dogs. My passion for special handling dogs started when I trained as a pet stylist. I got hands on experience helping stressed dogs relax and make situations better for them. I currently work in the Quad Cities as a pet stylist, working with both dogs and cats. I am very familiar and comfortable working with all kinds of animals be it furry, scaley or feathery. I do animal care for individual animals and also for hobby farms with chickens, ducks, goats, llamas and sheep. I am a very particular person when it comes to my own animals' care. Being very detailed oriented and handling your pets care is important to me. I think they deserve their care to be attentive and comfortable. Animals are not only something I am very passionate about but what I have revolved my life around. My days start around 5-5:30am. I typically take the dogs for a walk and have an hour to give them a bathroom break. I work as a pet stylist from 7-3:30. I can give bathroom breaks on my lunch break as needed. I keep all dogs leashed when outside to guarantee their safety. I have a fenced in back/side yard where I monitor dogs so they can be off leash if they are able to be trusted. I never leave pets unattended. I can kennel dogs to keep separate if needed. I am also trained in animal first aid. I deep clean and sanitize everything frequently.
