I live on a private drive, so not a lot of traffic and its nice and peaceful. I work 8-4 Monday through Friday. I live 20 minutes away and usually come home on my lunch break at 12 to let my dogs out and to let them run and play. I wake up early to take care of my chickens and ducks and let my dogs run around for about 30 minutes outside. With other dogs, we might wake up a little earlier and go on a trail or just walk up and down the road(.5miles) maybe more if needed. We then come inside and eat and drink and they are usually ready to go back to bed by the time I leave for work. On my days off we are outside constantly. If your dog is an introvert or loves ac, we do also let our dogs on the furniture for extra lounging. 🤣 At night we do a bit more outside since we make our rounds to make sure the birds are safe and fed and maybe another walk in the woods. Before bed, we do tick checks just in case! I care for all pets like my own and all pets have the same freedoms as my fur babies(unless specified so your doggo doesn't come home with any habits you don't want them to have). I have blankets on my couches and dog beds all over the house.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.
About: Hello! I am very passionate about dogs and will provide loving, patient care while you are away from home. I have fostered many puppies and adult dogs in my home through a dog rescue in California for 5 years, and continue to do the online work for that rescue from my home in Illinois. I have two fur babies of my own Espresso and Lucy, and our two cats mostly hang out in whatever room the dogs are not in :) We have a secure, fenced backyard with room to run. Dog cuddling and treats are a staple here, as well as walks, frequent potty breaks and playing with toys! My six year old daughter loves dogs but also respects boundaries and will leave them alone if they don’t want attention. I am prompt, professional and respond to texts/calls in a timely manner. I am a stay at home mom attending school online, so frequent potty breaks, cuddles and playtime are constantly available to them, or whatever else they might need. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 12 and worked as a zookeeper for the past 4 years! I have extensive experience caring for a large range of animals, including those with special health and age related needs. I'm home for the summer before I start my veterinary technician program in October. I will be traveling for periods of it but have an otherwise very open schedule. I own two cats, both of which are calmer in temperament, and have available separate space to care for smaller animals in my home. Currently I watch my family’s bird when they travel and keep him in a Separate room and the cats know to keep out as well as safety precautions I take to keep everyone safe.
