“As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. “I knew from our first meeting that Nathan and Jackie were the right choice to take care of my Sophie for the 2 weeks I would be in Japan. And I was right. They sent daily pictures/videos of: Sophie playing with their dogs Reilly and Bailey; the kids walking, holding, and loving on Sophie; and photos of some well-deserved chill time. We had excellent communication for the duration of Sophie’s stay with them. Nathan contacted me about a week into her stay to report an issue that he felt needed reviewed by her vet. I agreed and Nathan made the appointment, then took her for a vet visit. The vet also agreed with Nathan and gave Sophie 2 prescriptions. Nathan paid for the vet visit and meds himself (since I was not available at the time). For the next week, Nathan and Jackie gave Sophie the meds prescribed and reported back to me how she was doing with her medical issue. I am so thankful for Nathan’s keen observation and proactive stance on Sophie’s health. The vet visit and daily meds were more than they signed up for and they just took care of it all. I will definitely be taking Sophie back for future boardings, and may even have to take her for occasional visits so she can play with the dogs and the kids!”
“Ashley was amazing! We did a meet & greet a week before our trip and immediately knew that we were going to be leaving our pup in good hands. She is so kind and personable and most importantly great with the dogs. She sent photos all day long throughout the coarse of our trip and it was evident that Yeti was having an amazing time. With all the different dogs that come and go, Yeti always had someone to play with which was great. She treated him like one of their own and made us feel at ease with leaving him for a week. We were even supposed to pick yeti up around noon but because we missed our flight and then weren’t able to get a flight back home until later she was so kind in letting him stay longer than planned with it being no issue at all. All in all, leaving Yeti with Ashley and her family was a great experience and we will definitely be booking with her again in the future!!”

About: I am a 4th grade teacher with summers off. I have a passion for walking and dogs. So this is perfect for me! I walk my 90 lb chocolate lab (quite energetic and happy) miles everyday around the neighborhood and hiking trails. He is a pretty reactive dog (all love) so I am skilled in knowing what a dog needs and how they are reacting to the external variables on a walk, and how to react to that. About: Everything is negotiable as far as how many pets, how many days or weeks involved, accommodation needed etc. so please message me if you have any questions. I prefer to house sit at your home but, again, I can be flexible! Im pretty empathetic towards animals so I’m aware that they need love, attention, and to be movin’, movin’! I work 3-4 days a week and go in at 4pm and I can get out anywhere from 10pm-12:30am. Checking in with your pet would be my first priority as soon as I got off of work. I will make sure doors, fences, crates (if used) are locked. Dog is always on leash when outside and constant monitoring of whereabouts as needed. Pets provide the best photo ops so expect a lot of updates and funny flicks ^-^

We always had an "electric" fence for our dog which would gently vibrate her collar if she got out of the boundary. She was well trained and very attentive. Our cats were indoor cats and we made sure they knew they shouldn't try and get outside or on counters. The chickens and rabbit were fenced in outside in a giant chicken coop and since I was handling animals at a young age I am very familiar with how to gently care for them.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals my entire life. I first started with chickens when I was growing up and now I’ve been caring for dogs, cats, etc. around 4 years ago I first started a job as a kennel assistant where I would do feedings, lets outs, and even one-on-ones for the dogs/cats that were boarding. I’ve worked in daycare during my time as a kennel assistant as well where I had to determine demeanors and personalities of the dogs attending. 2 years ago I went into the medical side of animal care and became a Veterinary Assistant. I’m now in school to become a Veterinary Technician and eventually to become a Vet. I know how to tell when something is wrong with an animal and am able to do the things necessary to help I work full-time currently Monday-Wednesday, and I’m off on Thursdays. Then I work Fridays and am off weekends. On weekdays I have an hour break so I am able to do the let outs I need to during this time. If I am doing at my house care, the first thing I would do is have a meet and greet with my dogs and go from there to make sure they are compatible to stay at my home. If we are doing at my clients house, I would still like to do meet and greets beforehand so I can get to know your animal better. Once that is all done, I would like to know the rules and regulations for feeding times, let out times, and any medical needs that are needed. Dog walking I can only do Thursdays, and weekends but there are a few things I would like to know beforehand. Just the basics on how they do when other dogs are around, what to watch out for, and if there are any rules the dog needs to keep up with.

There has been many times after the pet and I have gotten comfortable that we go on car rides to my home or out to watch little kid baseball games. I have taken dogs to day care to get some extra enrichment with their doggie friends as well.

“Ashley was amazing! We did a meet & greet a week before our trip and immediately knew that we were going to be leaving our pup in good hands. She is so kind and personable and most importantly great with the dogs. She sent photos all day long throughout the coarse of our trip and it was evident that Yeti was having an amazing time. With all the different dogs that come and go, Yeti always had someone to play with which was great. She treated him like one of their own and made us feel at ease with leaving him for a week. We were even supposed to pick yeti up around noon but because we missed our flight and then weren’t able to get a flight back home until later she was so kind in letting him stay longer than planned with it being no issue at all. All in all, leaving Yeti with Ashley and her family was a great experience and we will definitely be booking with her again in the future!!”
