I am mainly available for dog walking and/or taking care of your animal in your home. I have helped raise 3 puppies (now big dogs) throughout the past 8 years. I am very well aware of what the animal may need and how to react to that.
About: I took care of my neighborhood dogs growing up anytime my neighbors would go out of town (both dog sitting and walks for 3 dogs). I am so excited to meet your pets! I also have a 2 year old who loves dogs. I'd be happy to bring her along if you are child training or just want your dog to feel extra love! I have a very flexible schedule so pet care can fit in almost anytime! I love to involve my toddler on walks and play times, but I can also do walks and visits on my own if you'd prefer. I'm happy to accommodate your preferences! I like to maintain as much of a normal routine for your dog as possible. I am comfortable crating, feeding, brushing, and playing inside or outside.
About: I have grown up caring for several pets belonging to my own family as well as friends and neighbors. I have experience in walking, feeding, bathing, and medication administration for a variety of pets including puppies, kittens, adult dogs, adult cats, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I will work hard to be sure your pet receives the absolute best care possible. I am currently finishing my graduate degree and am currently available most week days and weekends for pet care. I am more than happy to be flexible and readily available for busy pet owners. I currently do not own any pets and therefore your pet(s) will be the center of attention! I have a history of being a competitive gymnast, and I currently do CrossFit so I am very strong when it comes to caring or walking larger dogs. About: I've been watching and loving on dogs since I was in grade school. I'm a HUGE animal lover, with a passion for dogs- I can never learn enough about them. I managed a dog boarding/daycare facility, but discovered the stress of over 80+ dogs in my care at once was a little too much for me to handle. After a couple years away, I decided to come back to the dog boarding/daycare industry part time. Doing this, I was reminded that not all dogs thrive in this type of environment and do better in a home atmosphere. I have very active dogs myself and wake up extra early in the morning to make sure my dogs are properly exercised and played with before I go to work because I believe in order to have a healthy dog, they have to be worn out both physically and mentally and that is very important to me. I now have the ability to work from home and tend to work from home when I have doggy guests staying with me. What to expect when your dog stays with me: Lower stress and home environment for your pups! I have two big dogs and a little dog and am also set up so I can keep them separated if your dog doesn't particularly enjoy k9 company! I send pictures and videos and will keep in contact with you as little or as much as you'd like. I work full time, but I'm able to work my own hours. I adjust my work schedule based on the needs of the paws in my care. I have a large fenced yard. If your pup is staying at my home, I do require that they are crate trained for the safety of your pet.

“As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! We’re so grateful for her wonderful care and will absolutely be leaving Banjo with her for all our future trips. Highly recommend!!”
About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.
