“Lainey agreed to board my Golden and Aussie last minute and she did a phenomenal job! My Aussie does not like new people and struggles with severe anxiety and fear aggression. I was honest about his behaviors upfront and not once did she seem scared, which is so uncommon, even at dog boarding facilities. Because of her passion for animals, managing behaviors, and training, he had a successful stay and I could enjoy time away without worrying constantly. I can't begin to explain how freeing and relieving that was! I will be using Lainey in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone! Thank you, Lainey!! You are such a blessing!”

“Caitlin was fantastic! She and her family were absolutely welcoming of Apollo and he was more than well taken care of! We will be definitely returning to her when the need arises!”

“I cannot stress enough how AMAZING Hannah was! Not only was she great at communicating with me, but she kept me updated the whole time my puppy was in her care. This was my first time boarding my dog through Rover, and she made it a great first experience. I loved knowing that my puppy was getting well taken care of while I was away. I will definitely be booking with Hannah again(:”
“Rose watched both of my dogs last minute due to our normal sitter falling though. I appreciated the communication and pictures. I would definitely use her again in the future if she is available!”

“Feiran took good care of Milo while we were gone on vacation for 12 days. She send us photos and video daily. And let us know what's going on with Milo. Milo sure had a good time at Feiran!”
“She was amazing! My pup felt so at home. Sent many pictures and videos and was very attentive to every little detail. I already have another pet sitting booked with her bc she’s so great!”

“Here’s a polished positive review you could use: Kristen was absolutely wonderful watching my two boy dogs while I was on vacation. She was friendly, reliable, and very communicative throughout the entire stay, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. She kept me updated regularly and was always quick to respond to messages. Most importantly, my boys absolutely loved her! It was clear they were well cared for, happy, and comfortable in her care. I would highly recommend Kristen to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter, and I would gladly book with her again.”

“Meghan took care of our dog while we are traveling over the holidays. When we had a family emergency come up and couldn't get back, she kindly offered to continue looking after him. We appreciate knowing that our dog is well taken care of in a difficult time. Will definitely book again.”

“Audra and her son do an awesome job caring for Wrigley! Audra tends to have great availability for watching my dog when I need someone. She communicates quickly when I'm checking her availability and provides lots of updates while my dog is in her care. Love having someone responsible and caring to count on to care for my dog when I have to be gone.”

“Bailey and Wade were fantastic with our senior “high maintenance” dog. We received daily updates and pictures of our guy having the best time! They did great calming him when storms came through! Definitely will book with Bailey & Wade again! Thank you!😊”

“I knew Summer would be in good hands when she immediately bonded with Kellie. Sometimes she can start shy, but she loved Kellie at first sight. Kellie really handles dogs well, and I felt completely comfortable leaving Summer with her. She took Summer on much-needed walks, something I’ve had a hard time doing in this weather, and she sent many pictures of her progress. I can’t wait to book again with Kellie! Thank you!”

“Ginger had a safe and happy stay with Rae. Rae's fenced yard is very convenient and fun for Ginger. Ginger got lot of personal attention, which is what she wants! That Rae is easy to communicate with, is a bonus. Thank you, Rae!”

“I can’t recommend Rachel enough! She took incredible care of my dog while I was away for a couple of weeks. He got plenty of exercise with walks, trips to the river, and adventures in the forest preserves. She even treated him to an ice cream after a long, fun day in the sun! Her communication was top notch, she sent frequent updates with details about his day and tons of great pictures that gave me total peace of mind. It was clear she treated him like one of her own. If you’re looking for someone who goes above and beyond, she’s the one!”

About: Hey everyone, my name is Aric. I am originally from Peoria, Illinois but live in Champaign, Illinois. I have had dogs and cats my entire life. We get along great. Currently, I have one dog and two cats of my own. I have extra space in my house and am able to keep Rover animals separate. Please read all of my profile and contact me before requesting a service. One important thing to know is that Rover adds additional booking fees to my rates. If you can pay directly via Cashapp, Venmo, or Zelle, my rates will be lower than what is listed. Or, if you prefer to still use Rover for payments, that is ok. Send me a message if you have any questions. Hola a todos, me llamo Aric (Eric con A) y muchas personas que hablan el español me llaman mi segundo nombre Enrike (Enrique con K). Soy de Peoria, Illinois y vivo en Champaign, Illinois. He tenido perros y gatos toda mi vida. I take great care of my animals every day. I am very good with structed routines for me and my animals. Currently, my dog and two cats live with me. I replenish their food and water twice each day and socialize with them every day. Drop-In Visits: I am very flexible and adaptable to most environments and most needs of my clients and their humans. My profile accurately reflects services and prices. However, there may be some potential flexibility in order to meet the needs of my clients. Please read my entire profile including the introduction area where I mention how Rover adds additional booking fees to my rates. Day Care and/or Boarding: All my animals are up-to-date on vaccines. My cats have had vaccines for rabies and FVRCP. My dog has had vaccines for rabies, canine influenza bivalent (H3N2 and H3N8), distemper, parvo, bordetella, leptospirosis, and lyme disease. While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.
“Ryan and his family were very nice. Traveller can be a handful and I hope things weren't too disruptive for them. He was considerate, polite, accessible, and really easy to work with. If I need another sitting job at any time, I'll ask for him first. He's just a nice guy who gets dogs and took care of mine at a time I needed it, and that was great.”

“Came home to the happiest cats after 10 days - Elaine came and played with them, monitored their litter box, and made sure all the birdseed was down to provide their CatTV - couldn’t have asked for better communication or care.”

“As a first time Rover user, Masha was very understanding and accommodating of my worries. Even when my travel schedule changed and less than a week before I found out my cat had an ear infection she worked with me to figure out a plan so my cat can get the meds she needs. She was great with my cats shy personality and I will definitely be returning to her for my cat sitting needs.”

“A very bad storm came through town while Hannah was doing a drop-in visit with our boys. She made sure to stay with them until the storm passed so they wouldn’t be scared and would feel safe. She even went as far as standing all of our potted plants back up that had blown over outside! Saying Hannah went above and beyond would be an understatement. It means a lot knowing our boys are in the hands of someone who genuinely cares about them and treats them like her own. We couldn’t recommend her more!”

“This is the second time we have had Misty cat sit for us while we’re away for vacation. She has been so amazing and loving to our Kitty. Definitely recommend her for your pet sitting needs!!”

“Madison was great! She was extremely warm and friendly and it was clear that she made our pet feel loved and cared for while we were away. She took detailed notes when we explained our preferred care for our pet, and was very thorough with her check-ins, being sure to send cute photos and detailed visit summaries. You can tell that Madison truly loves all animals and pets, and we cannot recommend her enough!”

“We love that we can count on Grace to take such great care of our dog Bucky. She is responsible, reliable, great with communication, and goes above and beyond to make sure Bucky is taken care of before leaving. Thanks again Grace!”

“Ben was great taking care of our cat with his medications and visits while we were gone for the week! Our cat was in a great mood when we returned and we relaxed while out of town know he was taken care of! Would definitely like to use his services again!”

About: Greetings. First - thank you for considering me and my services! I have been a pet owner all my life, and have been the proud parent of hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! From my own experience of being a Rover customer for many years, I also know how important it is to pet sit within your home with no disruption to your pet's routine or surroundings.

About: Fostering for a local shelter has taught me how to care for cats of all kinds and needs including those with illness who need medication, young kittens, and those who are not used to being around others.
About: I grew up with dogs and have house sat my brother's dog on numerous occasions throughout the time I've been in the Champaign area. I have also house sat cats for a friend back in Indiana. I have also house sat my parents' dog on numerous occasions. Walking dogs of various sizes is no trouble for me, and I honestly just love animals in general. I love to play with them, talk to them, and love on them as if they're my own if people let me! As of right now, I have plenty of time to play with your pets! Unless I have prior commitments, I am unlikely to refuse a request. I grew up with dogs, and I've house sat cats before, as I've mentioned. They always had food, water, playtime, and plenty of love and attention as they saw fit. I treat others' pets as if they're my own

Perfect for high energy dogs - Monticello

About: Animals are my passion and caring for them is my kind of fun! The quality of care and love I provide is reflected in my pricing. I have cared for family, friends and my own pets since 2009 - feeding, watering, training and administering medication. I worked for The Animal Hospital of Monticello from December 2021-September 2023 where I cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, at many different age and health levels. I am familiar with animal first aid and am regularly educating myself on medical concerns/treatments because health is my #1 priority. I also love to learn about animal behavior (of all sorts-I'm very nerdy), enrichment and training because I believe a mentally and physically happy animal is a healthy one. I also have experience caring for exotic animals including guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, and lizards. I am happy to learn the needs of whatever baby I am caring for! I will not board any exotic animal or cats for their safety, but I'm more than happy to provide stop ins! ***If I do not believe I can care for your pet properly for whatever reason, I may have connections to those who do have the ability and I will be happy to help you find a new care giver.*** I am currently caring for two dogs from my home three times a week M,T, Th. They train, play, eat and snuggle with me all day. I also have a twelve year old, so If we humans have errands, vacations or an emergency-I let the pet parents know as far in advance as possible. I have two very friendly Australian Shepherd type dogs, an 12 year old human child, a husband and a cat of my own. (Somehow we all get along!) Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.
“Feiran is an awesome dog sitter. My dog Ben always loved going to her house for day care. Ben used to stay weekly and I always received pictures and videos from walks and play time. Ben was always exhausted and went to bed after day care. Feiran was always very accommodating and I would recommend her to anyone that needs a safe and great environment for their dog. I'd leave Ben with her over any kennel or dog day care facility. Thank you Feiran!”
“I am so happy I left my babies with Holly, she took such good care of my girls! 🐶🐶. She sent me videos and pictures as updates and was so accommodating with my schedule!”

“Caitlin is AMAZING!!!! She went above and beyond to make sure our shy 4 mo old pup felt welcome and loved in her home! She took him on multiple walks while he was there and even had him on a walk right before we arrived so he would have pottied when we got there for our drive home!!! She sent me so many pictures throughout the day of all the fun things he was doing and cuddles he was receiving! She was so thorough on pup’s report card letting us know how many times he went potty, when he ate, and how long the walks were! I could go on and on about how amazing she is! I would leave my pup with her in a heart beat and we will be going back!!!! Thank you Caitlin! ❤️❤️❤️”

“She was very kind and very accommodating! I was having surgery that day. The time I was going to be let out of the hospital depended on things going as planned. She fine with my being later than I had planned. My brother, who wasn’t so sure about leaving “our” Charlie with someone he didn’t know, picked Charlie up for me and was very pleased with Aratrika and the way she treated our little girl!!! I will definitely be bringing Charlie to Aratrika whenever I need a sitter. Thank you so much taking such good care of my little one!”

“Ryan was our first time using Rover and he was awesome! Our silken windhound Maverick loved playing with his border collies. I loved getting updates with pictures of them playing together. It’s so hard to find someone who will do daycare for a non-neutered show dog, even when they have zero behavioral problems. 100% recommend Ryan if you want your pup to have a great day!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 15 years old for family and friends. I have experience with overnight stays at clients' houses as well as boarding at my own house and experience with puppies and senior dogs. I live an active lifestyle and love going for walks and runs with your furry friend. It is my goal to give your pet the exceptional care they'd receive from their own owner and love them well while you're away! I am home for the majority of the day during the week and have frequent weekend availability as well. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to assist at all hours of the day. I have an unfenced yard, but live close to walking trails and in a quiet neighborhood. I have children who adore dogs and look forward to being around them. Our sunroom is a great place for your animal to curl up and enjoy a nap in the sunshine.
“We’ve been using Nate for a couple weeks and our dog Boomer LOVES his time there. He’s great about taking Boomer for walks and playing with him. Boomer has severe separation anxiety so it’s hard to find someone we really trust not to leave him alone. We’ve found that trust with Nate.”

“Megan and Eric were so easy to work with! Communication and booking were a breeze, and our dog was super happy at drop off and pickup. Great people with a perfect setup for your pet. Definitely recommend!”
“Rae took our pup on Thanksgiving day, and we had a great experience! She was very responsive and flexible, sent numerous adorable picture and video updates throughout the day, and made sure he got plenty of walks! Our dog, who can be anxious around new people, seemed to really enjoy his time at Rae’s house! Highly recommend Rae!”
About: I’ve had a dog of my own since 2020. I made sure to enroll him in doggie daycare to get that enjoyment while I’m away at work. I’m currently working from home. This allows me a lot of time with my dog and other dogs potentially. I set my own hours so I am able to care for the pet when needed Sticking to a routine, ensuring adequate food and fresh water is provided. Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring it is a safe culture. About: As a foster parent for a local animal shelter, I love giving our four legged friends a safe and welcoming place to call their own. I have fostered over 2 dozen animals in my home and have experience with crate training, potty training, basic needs and socialization as well. I’m currently working as a full time teacher, but have a lunch break daily in which I can come home and give the furry friends a potty break and some play time. I do not have a fenced in yard, so I take the animals in my home on multiple daily walks using a leash and harness.
About: Hi! I’m an animal lover with over 12 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Whether a playful pup, a senior dog with special needs, or a shy rescue, I take the time to understand and connect with each pet. I’ve worked in professional dog day cares, groomers, and veterinary clinics. I am comfortable with everything from high-energy play to gentle care for nervous or senior pets. I’m also experienced with a wide range of training styles and behavior types, and I adapt easily to your pet’s unique routine. Over the years, I’ve looked after the pets of friends and family many times, and I used to have a sweet Russian Blue cat of my own ( pictured in my profile!). I genuinely love caring for animals, and I’ve often been told I have a calm, natural way with them—and that people feel confident trusting me with their furry family members. Whether you need help with a dog, cat, puppy, or senior, I’m here to give them the same love, care, and attention I’d give my own. I strive to make scheduling easy and stress-free with a flexible calendar and open, reliable communication. Whether you’re planning ahead or need last-minute pet care, I’m happy to work around your schedule and ensure your pet’s needs always come first. I am dedicated to caring for your pet in their/your space. Reliable, attentive, and respectful, I treat every animal like family and keep you updated. References available upon request.

I treat others' pets as if they're my own
About: Greetings! First - thank you for considering me and my services. I'm retired, so I can be flexible with your scheduling needs for both your pets and your home. I'm both an early riser and a night owl, so whatever works for you also works for me! I have been both a renter and homeowner, so I know how valuable your pets are, but also your cozy home, your plants, mail, and relationships with your neighbors. I have owned a bunny, hamsters, cats and dogs. But I also have an affinity for birds and reptiles. I have provided services for friends and family most of my life, now I just want to bring in a bit of extra cash to supplement social security. I'm also mainly a homebody, so if your home or your pets need extra care or a lot of time, I'm fully available.
About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was a little boy. Not only pets, but the start of this year I started as a Healthcare Tech at Carle hospital taking care of patients. From dogs, to cats, to sugar gliders, you name it, I’ve taken care of. What really made me love dogs especially is when I met my dog I’ve owned for two years Prince. He’s a shiba inu and he’s the most loving/caring puppy you will ever meet. He’s taught me patience, kindness, and love and that’s why I think I’ll be a great fit for this job. Just know that I will do everything I need to do for you and your family to feel safe and comfortable as I watch your pets. Thank you!:) I work as a healthcare tech at Carle hospital so I work three days out the week. I can definitely find the time to play, feed, go on walks, and have fun with your pets! I have a puppy of my own that I’ve had for a year now. I make sure he’s well taken care of. Making sure he’s well fed, walks, play time, cuddle time! It all works out haha:) I’ve taken care of cats also before so I definitely think I will be a great fit to take care of your pets!:)
About: I would love to meet your fur babies. I'm retired from 35 yrs as a Social Worker. Now, I can pet sit full time. Call or text with any questions or to book my services! I'm able to come to your home while you're away! Whether you're working extra long hours or away on vacation, I can watch your pets when you are gone from home. I only watch pets in their home environments. This is less stressful/traumatic on pets, than a kennel stay. Also, your pet will avoid getting diseases from the other animals at kennel. I don't charge per pet or per size fees either!
About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Friends and family call on me to watch their animals because I am so good natured with them and love teaching trucks and giving baths I currently do not work so I would be available to e other take of your dog during the day in your home or for overnight any day of week I would follow instructions of the pets owner on how they wish their pet to follow the same routine they do on a daily basis

I also watch other family and friends animals as well and I’m always the first one they go to! My full time job is medical assistant at the Champaign county humane society. I have plenty of time on the weekends and weekdays to walk, babysit, daycare or pop in every couple of hours to take care of animals! I have two German shepherds one male and one female that are very dog friendly if you’d like me to bring some company for your dog while I watch over them. I am also able to take the dogs to a local dog park if you’d like!
About: I have spent my entire life caring for animals. Throughout my life I have had many animals from birds and Guinea pigs to cats and dogs. Koda, my youngest dog was completely trained by me in German commands. Working with dogs to learn new things is one of my favorite things to do. My oldest dog, Motley is a senior and the past couple years I have become very educated and trained on administration of medication and post surgery care. With experience from my own pets, I have many reliable references I have gained over the years that can vouch for me on my loving, dedicated, and superior care with their fur babies. I am currently a nanny and have almost completely open availability. I work Monday through Thursday during the day but can still do visits anytime! And I’m off Friday through Sunday so anytime those days as well! When visiting your home I am happy to provide any services you may need for your pet. This includes special feeding instructions, medication distribution, daily walks, baths, guaranteed playtime, and more all while treating them as my own with so much love! I am also happy to do drop in visits while you are at work or walks to get your babies steps in.

About: I am a proud mother of a 9yr old son and an 15 yr old daughter.. My daughter is usually at school for most of the day. However, caring for both full time I have come to notice animals stimulate both kids and teach them respect, responsibility and routine. We are excited to em"bark" on this new chapter in life and cant wait to start. Together, I believe all 3 of my family unit would not only love, but sincerely enjoy even the smallest and largest pets while their 'parents' are away or just need some attention. With summer upon us - my schedule (and helping hands) have become more flexible. Currently, I am available every day from 6am to 7pm. Holidays, weekends, and every day that ends in "Y"! With respect to the pet , clients home, and specific care needs, I try to always keep an open mind and heart but keeping respect in the foreground.

“Bailey and Wade were fantastic with our senior “high maintenance” dog. We received daily updates and pictures of our guy having the best time! They did great calming him when storms came through! Definitely will book with Bailey & Wade again! Thank you!😊”

“Lindsay took care of our little guy for 10 days and he was so well cared for. This is our first time using rover or leaving our dog with anyone outside of family. I cannot begin to tell you how pleased we are with the love and care he received ? He had friends (other dogs), a huge fenced yard and lots of love while we enjoyed our vacation. We received regular photos and communication about him while we were gone. We will definitely be back…highly recommend Lindsay and her son!!”

“Katherine did an excellent job of taking care of my Winnie, a large, athletic dog who craves attention from people. Katherine kept her engaged, playing games with her and throwing the ball in the backyard. She clearly has a lot of experience with dogs. Winnie came home a very happy pup.”
