“As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. I have a fenced in yard, dog door ( that locks) shelves and hiding spots for cats. I had made this an oasis for my cat and dog while they were still with us. Our free time is spent at the cat cafe, and the humane society. We will go walk the dogs there or play with the cats at both places. Any animal in need of love and attention, we are thrilled to provide it. Our dog passed of cancer 3 years ago and needed to be put down as it had spread and she was in terrible pain. It was a slow, and hard for to let go A year ago, our cat had this disease, and she became immobile immediately and was in chronic pain. It was such a quick loss. So I have been a little hesitant to bring another animal in full time. However, all animals are welcome and we look forward to building a safe spot for you and your pet while you are away.

About: Hi there! I’m a college student and lifelong animal lover who’s grown up surrounded by all kinds of pets. I spent my whole life on my family’s farm, where I helped care for everything from dogs, cats to livestock. Currently, I work at a dog boarding and daycare facility, where I get to spend my days caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Between that experience and years of helping friends and neighbors with pet sitting, I’ve learned how to make every animal feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their people are away. At home, I have two dogs and a cat of my own, so I completely understand how much trust it takes to let someone else care for your pets. My goal is always to treat your pets like my own. I currently offer house-sitting, drop-in visits, and dog-walking, and I’m happy to tailor each visit to your pet’s routine. Whether it’s long walks, cuddle time, or just keeping their feeding schedule consistent, I’ll make sure they’re well taken care of while you’re gone. I’m a college student at Illinois State University and work part-time at a dog daycare and boarding facility. My schedule is flexible, and I have plenty of availability throughout the week and on weekends for house sitting, walks, or drop-in visits. I will keep my eye on your pet and make sure they are as safe as possible under my watch. I will give them comfort when in need.
About: i have taken care of several breeds of dogs from the bichon’s to mastiffs! I have a beagle/shar pei mix who is 12 years old and a pit bull who is 2. We have 4 cats and I am an animal lover through and through! i am a stay at home mom of 2 and so my availability is open typically very flexible!. Up until now I have done this strictly in after work/school hours, but now have much more availability and hope to be able to branch out to more families! I will always respect the home of my client and their animals. We will go over any wants and needs and you don’t have to worry about anything else while you are gone! About: I have been fortunate enough to gain years of experience working with animals in both a shelter and medical setting. I am well trained in various routes of medicine administration as a result and love every dog I meet. I just want to be able to make a difference for the pets and their families within my community. I do currently work a full time schedule as a veterinary technician, and study part time, so I generally have a rather busy schedule. I am well-disciplined, however, and manage my time around all of my commitments appropriately, and your furry friends hold a high priority for me. I can prepare for overnight duties and have flexible enough time in the mornings and evenings, and could feasibly do drop-in care over the noon hour. My weekends are generally clear! I sincerely promise to be completely respectful of your living space if I am hired to provide care for your furry little loved ones, guaranteed.
About: Through out my life I've had several different furry friends (and fish!). I have worked with all kinds of animals from ones that love to run and play to ones that would prefer to lounge around all day! I have several years of experience as a professional pet sitter, as well as having pets of my own. I'll have plenty of time to look after your lovely animal babies! Most of the times, short term stays or quick check-ins work best for me, but I am open to talks regarding longer stays. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and reptiles. I am a former vet assistant who want to continue working with animals as I have so much love to give. I am currently working full time but I live with multiple people who are willing to help me with boarding. I don’t work all day so I would love to take your pet for walk! I also can do drop ins on my days off which I have 3 days off a week. I also have a partner who is in this with me who loves animals as much. I do have a 8-6 job four days a week for anyone wanting house sitting. I also am able to board reptiles or do house visits for them also. I offer more items like nail trims, baths and anal glands for a low price! I have a privacy fenced in yard with some running space. We have a pool but dogs do not have a way into it. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats. The house stays clean and we are neat freaks and we have an up and downstairs in case of wether safety. I have practiced. Weather safety with my animals and continue to due so. My animals have ever shot you can think of and they are on flea and tick prevention and heartgard.
