I worked overnights for 4yrs and have been in healthcare for 15yrs. I have pretty open availability within reason. I would like a decent heads up to be sure I have the means to accommodate. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 25 years, from yorkies to German Shepherds . Senior care expert with thorough knowledge of administering meds to the pickiest of pups. On a daily basis I might have to leave my home for 2 hours. Very rarely am I away more than 4 hours. If your pup requires continuous care, please inform me in advance. I work from home and can be flexible to meet most schedules. During the summer months, don’t walk doggos outside if it’s too hot, but I am happy to take your treasured friend on a field trip to an indoor space for exercise. My home is my cozy and comfy respite from the loud world. Rest assured that your friend(s) will have the royal treatment, all the play and snugs they wish. We will go on a walk to the park or if you have a baby in their golden years, let’s take a nap all day and/ or stroller ride around the neighborhood 🐾Pups are welcome on all furniture, cool AC, soft beds, and have access to fresh filtered water 24/7. “MacKenzie & Jacob own 4 cats (no dogs but they sometimes board them) and clearly love animals. My 2 sibling kittens were born feral on my farm and when Mama disappeared, I had to take them in. Did not intend to keep them but these kitties had different plans. I am in the process of training them to spend more time indoors, and interact with other humans and animals. How lucky that I found MacKenzie on Rover. My kitties had their own space (spare bedroom) where I set up their familiar bedding, litter box, food, scratch post, etc. I started with a 24 hour stay and will prob try a few more days before taking a longer trip later this year. MacKenzie sent me regular updates. One kitty was slightly braver, exploring her surrounding. They both allowed MacKenzie and Jacob to pet them (although they admit they were shaking, which is no surprise) and they ate (not much) and used the litter box, but barely left the bedroom. MacKenzie & Jacob put them in their carriers minutes before I arrived (the cats only slightly resisted they said) and brought them downstairs with all of their belongings & helped me load it all up. I am very much looking forward to having my kitties spend more time with these two wonderful cat sitters - even when I don’t need a sitter - bc I want them to get more human and kitty interaction and I believe MacKenzie and Jacob’s home is the ideal environment. They are lovely, kind-hearted sitters who will give my babies the love and patience they need to become less feral and become the 2 house cats I need them to be.”
About: I have three kids, one young adult and one teenager and one still in elementary school and they ALL have SO much love to give and are all experienced in pet caring as well. I always joke about how my children love animals more than humans and my girls are “animal whisperers”. We LOVE animals and have lots of care and cuddles to give each and every one. And we have all at times even saved both cats and dogs that were lost roaming around! It’s been such an amazing experience. My middle child one year for her birthday used her birthday money to gift the humane society with items for the animals there and we all used to go spend time with the animals there and volunteer for them as well I work Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. I have the ability to care for along walk dogs in the morning before work, or over my hour lunch break, and also after work and in the evening and in the weekends, even Sundays after church I have a fenced yard myself at home, however at other people’s homes I will not let their pet out without being on a secured leash

About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. Disclaimer: I strive to provide a safe environment for all dogs that stay with us. In order to do so I require proof of vaccination upon the initial meet & greet. That needs to include: Rabies Distemper Bordetella All dogs must be spayed/neutered. Also when booked and dropped off I will recommend you leave me with a back up person to contact in the event that any problems arise during the stay and you are out of town. DROP IN VISITS: I come to your house to visit with your dog. What is done is dependent upon what you set up and what you need. This could be just checking in to play, go on walk, feed, or let out to potty. This will all be determined upon what you need. Note- This doesn't include overnight stay in your house. Note- Two methods of entry are required to prevent lock-outs. DOG MEET AND GREETS: I require dog introductions be done ahead of time for first visits with me that entail staying at my house with me as I know dogs will be dogs. I will make a time that works for both of us to come to my home and have play date and see how it goes. I will also come to your house for a meet and greet if you schedule drop in visits, walks, etc. To allow for proper introductions and to make sure it is a good fit. About my pets- All of my dogs and cats are fully vaccinated and on heartworm medication and flea and tick. Proof of my dogs vaccinations available if requested. Pet Health and Vaccinations: - All pets must be up to date on vaccinations and in good health. - Please provide proof of rabies vaccination upon initial meet and greet. - If your pet shows signs of illness or injury, I will notify you and seek veterinary care if necessary. Any associated expenses will be your responsibility. Emergency Situations: - In case of an emergency involving your pet, I will make every effort to contact you immediately. - If I am unable to reach you, I am authorized to seek veterinary care as deemed necessary by a professional. - You will be responsible for any expenses related to emergency veterinary care not covered by Rover.

About: Please only request if your dog is crate trained! They will only be in there briefly if I have to leave and overnight while sleeping (my two dogs take up most of the bed, so it is hard to fit a third unless they are tiny). I’ve been caring for/around animals my entire life. I have two small dogs and two cats of my own. Caring for them has taught me so much and made my love for animals stronger. Both my dogs and my cats are pretty laid back and enjoy sleeping most of the day. I am patient with any animal, and can adjust to any of their needs! I am currently working from home, so I can be available at any time. During my lunch breaks I usually take a walk with my dogs, or hangout with them in the backyard if the weather allows! I have a pretty big fenced in yard that is perfect for any dog to run around in! I can also provide lots of toys for inside, and the dogs are free to run around the house and play wherever they’d like. As for dogs or cats in your home, I am entertained easily and can sit and enjoy their company if they prefer a quiet environment, or I will play with them if they want to do that. I have experience with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats, mice, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, hedgehogs, lizards, and fish! I work as a nurse but still have plenty of time to take care of your beloved pets whether in my home or yours and will give them plenty of attention! I would be able to let out quick in the morning but no walks and can let out in the evening and do a walk. I have a large fenced in back yard for your dog to run and play in. I have two dogs both of whom are laid back and gets along with other dogs. I have the space to be able to set up a crate if needed to crate your dog while I’m away. I am able to let your dogs out in the morning and evening and spend time with them each time as well as feed them. I can watch your small animals at my house since I have a room designated for small animals since I own two ferrets! I have 3 sweet kitties who get along great with dogs and other cats!
About: I have owned dogs since I was 8 years old! From raising two puppies to housing a friends dog temporarily, I have acquired experience with training dogs as small as french bulldogs to as big as pitbulls! I have a passion for animals and truly treat them as family. I work part-time in the summer at a retail store where the shifts are 4 hours (but with enough notice I can request off and be available for all your pups needs!) I currently attend the U of I in Urbana-Champaign, but can pet sit/drop in most Fridays-Mondays! About: I have always loved dogs and always wanted one. So since I can’t have one I would love to take care of yours! I have taken care of many dogs of the years. I have watched dogs through house sitting. The longest I watched someone’s dogs was a month. I’m very comfortable around dogs and love them very much. They would get all the love from me! About: I have three kids, one young adult and one teenager and one still in elementary school and they ALL have SO much love to give and are all experienced in pet caring as well. I always joke about how my children love animals more than humans and my girls are “animal whisperers”. We LOVE animals and have lots of care and cuddles to give each and every one. And we have all at times even saved both cats and dogs that were lost roaming around! It’s been such an amazing experience. My middle child one year for her birthday used her birthday money to gift the humane society with items for the animals there and we all used to go spend time with the animals there and volunteer for them as well I work Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. I have the ability to care for along walk dogs in the morning before work, or over my hour lunch break, and also after work and in the evening and in the weekends, even Sundays after church I have a fenced yard myself at home, however at other people’s homes I will not let their pet out without being on a secured leash

About: I have taken care of animals for a while and even worked on a farm! All of your friends will be safe and cared for in my home. I am available for boarding pretty much any days of the week and I am perfectly okay with last minute bookings and cancellations if needed! I understand how life can get! I work only 4 min from my job and have flexibility to step in and out. I also have an indoor camera to keep an eye when I am away.
