I also love reptiles and rodents if you have any in addition to dogs or cats, i’d happily do anything you need me to do for them! I am a college student at siue but I still have a super flexible schedule and i have a lot of free time to hang out with pets! i’ve grown up with pets all my life and even worked at a doggy daycare in my hometown so i’d love to be there for pets who don’t like daycares and prefer to stay in their own space. About: I used to pet-sit. Worked at a day-care a while ago. I've worked and interacted with all types of dogs. I enjoy what I do. I actually get really excited when working with dogs. I know they're a lot to handle sometimes but I feel like they're great fun to work with and they always make me feel better. My favorite types of dogs include Boxers, Miniature Schnauzers, Miniature Pinschers. I like all dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am really into playing fetch with dogs. I also don't mind playing with rope toys. They might tear my arms off but hey! It builds character! However, I need to express the importance of my dog being present if you leave him with me. My dog wouldn't hurt a fly and he's super friendly and calm but I want my pet and your pet to feel safe around each other. We've yet to introduce Beau to cats so I am not sure how he would respond, but my assumption is he's very gentle so long as the cat is used to being around other dogs. If you want me to watch the pets at your place, all I ask is that you provide me with instructions on what to do and what not to do. I can upload photos and you can shoot me texts if you want updates on your little ones—or big ones, depending on the size of your pup, lol.

About: I had my own personal dogs for over 20 years in total but do not currently have any pets. As my schedule allows, I help out with short-term fostering for a rescue that I adopted two of my dogs from. All 3 of my dogs ended up with health issues in their old age so I have plenty of experience giving medications, feeding special diets, assisting with mobility issues, etc. Because my boy was dog reactive, I became a master at 'crate/gate/separate' when fostering while he was alive. However, I intend to only sit animals that are from the same home at one time so the animals do not face any restrictions needing to avoid animals they do not live with. I work from home (day job) so I will be around most of the time during the care dates with the exception of any planned events outside of the home (which likely would not be more than a few hours at a time). I have a fenced yard (4 feet) for quick potty breaks (I do not leave dogs unattended in my yard). For walks, I can use a double leash/collar if needed for extra security. I do have a shared fence line with a neighbor dog that is reactive so, when needed, I run a line of chicken wire to keep dogs in my yard from being able to reach that fence. The neighbor’s dog is my primary reason for marking ‘no’ to un-spayed/neutered. I don’t leave any dogs I watch unattended in my back yard but he’s a Cane Corso that’s not neutered and my fence is only 4ft tall so I figured better safe than sorry.

About: I used to pet-sit. Worked at a day-care a while ago. I've worked and interacted with all types of dogs. I enjoy what I do. I actually get really excited when working with dogs. I know they're a lot to handle sometimes but I feel like they're great fun to work with and they always make me feel better.
